@Bluelight
I'm totally with you, this is going to rally big time shortly.
No way can this hold £ 233m value its a joke....
PE Ratio of X 1.7 and peer average is X 15 and some as high as X30 go figure....
Appreciate shorters love a bit of uncertainty but wow, trying to short something on a PE Ratio of under X 2 - i say that takes real balls top be fair...
Hold onto those shorts BYP, it will be worth it :)
LMOL
Good luck all genuine holders, onwards and upwards

Not given it up yet BYP? You've only got a couple of hours to close your short and the price action doesn't really support you making any money today. Personally I'd prefer you hold the short for as long as possible, i'm sure many of us would appreciate your added buy backs pushing the price higher on the results. Mind you a hundred quid buy or so isn't life changing for the price I guess.
Im sure he meant "Global" demand, as opposed t market, picking at hairs imo ???
‘The market demand is greater than Novacyt's supply.’
I have been away too long, we apparently know the market demand and we also know NCYT’s supply ceiling. Excellent, could you share the latter, would be great for everyone to know our max production capacity.....
I’ve been away for a few weeks, did I miss a coronation? Nice to have (self professed) royalty onboard though....
Butchers, the Golf standard? In my case that would be dire as I have a history of shanking, slicing and bunkering! Lol
If you want cheap chinese jewelry you go to a market. If you want gold standard jewellery you go to a jeweller's.
Primerdesign is the golf standard.
Now wouldnt that be a nice double barrel set of rns's tomorrow ? (and or Monday)
Boom Cash status and 6 month results
Boom Dhsc now done and dusted
Nice thought.... :)
Sorry, multi tasking. Better get back to painting. Have a good day 1 and all.
Pcr test have been in demand of late.. the increase in testing has lead to a shortage.. there have been loads of pictures showing not on stock. My opinion based on the pictures I have seen on twitter is that margins will have hardened.
Kaeren, yep we no need PR. No point selling a Rolls Royce and not telling people what the benefits are. A little road show would be good, forget the jazz hands just tell them how it is. Facts not over inflated promises. RNSs only reach a select audience, time to reach out.
I wasn't suggesting he was left to clear it up SirDigby , but I would imagine he is involved and I most definitely view that positively. G.M will depart ,
D.A will want to start his role with a clean slate , he will be very keen to reach resolution asap.
I may disagree on that 1 also Porky. I respect the volume we are doing, it's impressive for a company our size. Not everyone wants a Rolls Royce, if we can attract Mercedes customers aswell then more than happy. Not interested in Vauxhall customers. By dealing with DHSC we have shown how much capacity we have, we aren't filling it. We are doing well, I just believe we can do better.
Mac , sorry meant to say emotionally attached to company not share.
I think it is already happening Mac , the private testing companies are dropping prices and I assume we may well be too. If D.A is a marketing guy then he will milk the covid window for what its worth , higher volume cheaper price probably on his agenda. Quality is exceptional , so I for one wouldn't complain if he spent some money marketing the company in the way it deserves , thus far it has been none existent.
@Mactrder
You don't drop the price of a Rolls Royce by 20% to sell more of them for less profit if you don't need to.
The market demand is greater than Novacyt's supply. There is not a demand issue. Currently testing numbers are increasing and travel opening up is adding to that.
They may as well feed that market in the best regions to maximise return - That's business
Pork's
I would sincerely hope DA isn't left to clear up the dispute not least of all because he isn't going to take the reigns until mid October. We're reportedly in the process of an 'alternative dispute resolution', they have a finite lifespan, I don't see how it can drag out until then.
@MacTrader
look you know the score here, we have been plagued by traders following the ups and down of the SP in a tight trading range, they love it. They post positive on here when they want the price up and negative or distraction when they want the price down. I'm bloody sick of it frankly.
I will consider any view point if there is fair reasoning behind it but much of the time this is not the case. I have posted on here in the past year frankly at times when the negativity has been off the scale and much of it unfounded or fed by Shorters. We are now at a burnt out share price imo. The Damage well and truly executed.
Yes, i am pro this business. yes you can class me as "King Ramper" here that is my only crime, i don't care. As explained i have a vested interest in the SP doing well. I have done my research in significant detail. I have in the short term called the SP wrong i grant you that, i didn't see the DHSC situation coming, i admit to that however; its a long game and its still in play, the SP is sh@t but the business isnt. I believe the SP will still come good here and i can wait... wait as wait does...
Meanwhile, yes i will continue to add positivity. far to often the great things this business is doing are overlooked and the messages lost in translation. If i can highlight that i will.
Pork's
PS. i was expressive yesterday regarding the LA times article and Innova so i will call things out when i don't think they are right. I also called GM out when he ballsed up the forward statement in January so i will tell it as it is. On balance, i believe the business does more positive stuff than negative. That's why i invest here. I remain VERY bullish for Novacyt.
Kaeren, this brings me back to a previous point. DHSC and other customers will be looking at our margins and thinking we are milking it. I would suggest in what is now a more competitive market say a 20 % price drop across the board. It doesn't necessarily mean lower profits if it means higher sales. Yes it's a gamble, but we have to move with the times and make the most out of this opportunity to finance future non covid plays. I think the results would be material. Not everyone would be on board but I believe we have got the marketing network now for 1 big push.
Relentless positivity is actually FAR more dangerous to investors than relentless negativity. Relentless positivity does not result in positive SP movement. Binning ‘derampers’ doesn’t change sentiment in any way. Don’t have your thoughts clouded by such relentless positivity, just because it’s more palatable than the derampers drivel. Both are very dangerous.
Look at a contributer’s track record in reading and predicting the market before following them blindly just because they’re saying what you’d like to hear.
Relentless positivity does not equate to good market understanding. If it did, this SP would have hit over £54 months ago.
Positive thought, but utter crap.
Byp , he bought in November , he wasn't out of touch with the company at all. There was no indication that the DHSC would fail to honour the contract at that stage and it appeared that the company was going from strength to strength , all invested believed it and I for one was blindsided by the dispute.
The one positive I can immediatly see from change in CEO is that D.A will not have an emotional attachment to the share and therefore will probably be better placed to reach a compromise with the DHSC for the greater good of the company and its shareholders.
Brent, no I’m not but I’m now intrigued about these other places you go to?!
I’m just answering each of the comments. Maybe rainclooud can draw me a picture to put a smile back on my face. Tell me, how many positive RNSs do you see on a Friday?
BYP - You are not Transhoneyqueens off the other place are you? Lol
GM doesn't have to be in on it, a potential suitor may see the company as rudderless and vunerable with significant cash and a lot of ongoing business. There are only 4 companies (iirc) on the NHS framework, one of them could acquire us and effectively capture 50% of that available business for themselves which isn't insignificant. Covid isn't going to disappear in 2021, regardless of peoples wishes.
Blimey BYP, you cant help it can you? If you hold why be so down on everything...
Yes it is boring waiting, but, have a bit of POSITIVE FAITH....
Or we might think that your true intention isnt to hold long term???
:)
