Don’t shade over your ignorance and your view of M&S you’re comment rotten to the core is unjustified. One has absolutely no issue with women iv had my wife for 57 years my dear. Keep posting dear in between your chores.
Ignore it but of course I did state the store numbers correctly. Misogyny has no place... Anywhere....
Stick to something you understand vp. You add no value here that I can see. Gardeners world on TV tonight at 21.00. Enjoy
Again I have stated the number of stores absolutely correctly. Look at my posts it's there for all to see. MKS's core, (it's stores) I do believe is rotten. The board have taken steps to remedy this by planning to cut store numbers. From my research I believe the number needs to be cut a lot further. Again you resort to mysogynist language.
Vp called M&S rotten to the core and 94p several times, for someone who doesn’t know how many stores the company has it’s ridiculous, perhaps she should spend more time listening to her Nan who loves M&S, and significantly more time gardening or reading the RHS times. She should also remember that if M&S fail so does Ocado, I can easily see Ocado SP back into the 600-700 mark if M&S fails. She should really sit back and think much more strategically.
Posted today as the statement "CV19 has less than nothing to do with the drop" was crazily innacurate. Haven't invested so far but like to keep in touch with other retail shares as there are crossover issues and trends that interest me and influence my investment choices. I post on here to further understand the issues facing MKS. I see lots of structural issues the chat board as a whole doesn't which is interesting. You may see it as a waste of time but personally I find it crucial that I delve deeper and understand the trends moving different retail sector shares so I can capitalise on the emergent trends.
@Valueplay I think the issue people have is the fact you appear on market red days to call people's investments. You have stated you have no intention to invest here and you're not short so if that's true you only come on to put people's investment down, which may I say is a complete waste of time, we've been collecting these in the 90s and you've missed out on 2 weeks of successive rises.
Maybe stop wasting yours and our time and try posting to engage with fellow incmvestors on a company you actually have a financial interest it
Now you are calling me a woman and of course avoid the fact that I was correct regarding MKS store numbers. Classy.
Women are usually more consensual and inclusive vp, in your case no. Iv rarely read anything you’ve said that is factual or inclusive. Iv no idea how many people read these posts but I hope someone benefits, I don’t think you’ve had one tick agreement since you started pouring your scorn on the board, stores, you should continue your posts though because it’s a gentle reminder to me how fickle the market is. Have a great weekend all, God bless you all, even value player. ))
neilhumphreys5ya - I was absolutely correct re number of stores read my posts carefully. Earlier posts said 959 UK stores, which is true. In other posts I have referred to the 1,400+ total global stores.
Of course easier to call something nonsense than to actually delve further
Giovianno55020 - Ok, you believe I am wrong. All boards must have the ability to discuss reasonably the strengths/weaknesses of shares. Yet again you swear. I can see why because you would rather just see the rosy side of MKS. You are uncomfortable with anything that taints that view. School bully tactics, to debate courteously in detail is beyond you.
VP When you reach 80 years of age you will have realised credibility comes from truth. I say what I see, good and bad, I know bad from my own errors and lessons in life, I have reinvented myself so many times and hopefully improved each time. You know the poison you write is totally wrong and yet constantly repeat it. You have stated no facts about M&S that I have read, you didn’t even know the number of stores they have until I corrected you! (You know......the shops you state are CV19 concerns) You know nothing about M&S except headline news, you own no part of M&S and yet you vaticinate doom. Find some other place like Advfn to pontificate nonsense.
Value......because you only write on down days...you've got nothing positive to add here
is your point just to be right?
and then you whine when peole don't like hearing it over and over anf over again?
FFS...if you are so clever, all you have to do is short the shares as you seem to want to, you don't need to bring your negative vibe to people who have invested here for good reasons.
You are completely wrong about the value of these shares.
I've wrote with great depth here and in general got swearing and abuse in return. I have pointed out that a resurgence in Covid 19 will hit MKS (excluding it's OCDO partnership) particularly hard for various reasons. I have never been short and believe your incredibly fortuitous MKS trading record. Calling someone "scum of the earth" undermines any credibility you have.
Valueplayer-Anyone who writes without depth and completely ignorant and uses 3/4 of a million deaths as a method to bash equities deserves all they get, scum. Now go wash your mouth out with detol.
Two market red days and Valueplay reappears...priceless
As usual anyone who writes anything non positive MKS gets abuse.. zzzzz
Valueplayer, you must live on a different planet, or never see the shops? The shops are packed with people, on my return yesterday I tried to do some shopping in M&S Wimbledon and couldn’t move !! The roads are jammed, and when the UK retail numbers are published next Thursday-date for the diary all, I expect to see a big bounce in LFL sales numbers over pre cv19! Speculators who use CV19 as a way of bashing equities so they can buy said equity cheaper are scum of the earth, scum, with 3/4 of a million people dead, it’s inexcusable for people like you to use it’s name. You disgust me. On a brighter side, I look forward to 2 September when my Ocado delivery arrives full of M&S food! Yum))
"CV19 has less than nothing to do with the drop" - Priceless! Virus ticking up in all surrounding countries and numbers increasing here. MKS has 1,400+ stores.. hmm. Don't have to be Columbo to work out the vulnerability there...
We’re seeing a market correction, CV19 has less than nothing to do with the drop. US election will have an impact from time to time as markets assess the what ifs. Humans are fickle, much of the time we act without logic and call it gut reaction. For M&S it’s on track! Market share growth in food, digital transformation, store estate turned on its head, selling space alignment, the fight to eat up Waitrose and Tesco finest luxury market is on! All we need now is to see what bomb the new non food directors have deployed! We know evolution won’t work on clothing, only a revolution will do. Hang onto your seats the market will rock and roll for months yet!
chip paper - mks being marked down as dow futures fall - all markets controlled by the dow - simple macro economic fact - mks will come back as funds move from growth fang stocks to value stocks - keep calm folks - £1.50 by xmas imo and I am still extremely confident of that
dyor etc
Business as usual, production hasn't been effected. Was hoping for an overreaction on GNC share price but no such luck. Just a little drop like many across the board so far this morning
What will be the outcome from the revelation that the fresh sandwiches have been made by a factory with many Covid 19 cases. This is very worrying . Any views on this .
