"The report estimates that to meet its clean energy goals, Europe will require 35 times more lithium and ***seven to 26 times the amount of rare earth metals*** in 2050 compared with today. It will also need 1.5mn tonnes of copper (an increase of 35 per cent from today) and 400,000 tonnes of nickel (a 100 per cent increase)."

Mkango will have its day. Yes , I don't think any shareholders wanted to see the price down to 20p. But lots of shares have come down due to the current market conditions because of geo politics.
Its not good to see childish bickering on this board. But then everyone entitled to behave how they do.
I don't think we have too long to wait to see Mka success. Bfs news is possible in the next few weeks. And I believe there's likely negotiations going on behind the scenes.
I am definitely holding on to my shares, I've held for years and will not let go when we are so close.
Nothing go up in a straight line. Patience is required here if you want to reap the rewards. Just my take on it. All the best to all shareholders.
Morning.
Interesting week this week with lots of US corp earnings releases - not that any of that should affect MKA.
FYI - I picked up on some interesting Rare Earth numbers last week:
In the first quarter (2022), about 4,500 mt of rare earth permanent magnets were consumed, an increase of 142% over the same period last year.
From January to February 2022, the consumption of NdFeB magnets in China's wind turbine industry is about 4,000 mt, up 61.01% from the same period last year.
In the carbon neutrality era, the wind power field is developing rapidly. From January to February 2022, China's installed wind power capacity was 5.73GW, an increase of about 61% year-on-year.
ur 17p entry looks abit mor likly this wk
Here we go folks. The warning I gave regarding market falling. Let’s hope we hold this level and Lewis decides to borrow more money from his gran to buy and top up his 30k share holding.
Glad I bought my average down in to the mid/upper 20s.
Come on Lewis, the market is waiting for your 3,000 purchase lmaoooooo ;)))
Pmsl
700k of 20p "sells" scrubbed after the close but I note the 300k buy is still intact.
Obviously all a bit sketchy to say the least - perhaps a 10x from here really is on after all.
As predicted earlier. This week had to be the final flush. It was and the reversal in the price suggests buyers now stepping in to push this higher.
Well done to those who topped up and held through this downpour. It’s now time to rise from the Malawi ashes. Next week should be fun. Expecting blue from the off on Monday.
Tic…toc…
Well there is most certainly something cooking here - bizarre trading.
Steady as she goes next week I think
Back to the 24-25p+ range
Seller (the one we suspect) should be out shortly, two large trades of 470K and 330K likely a single entity taking at least 1m you would think, should clear anything left
Onwards and upwards, back into the 30;s by the end of May!
Bought more shares today. Am now fully loaded lock stock and sampling plenty of barrels. LFG !!!! Whyte to ko fury round 9.
what are you talking about???? of course there is a buyer...duh. every trade has a buyer and a seller. move on. no one on this board will sell you their shares or buy yours based on your ridiculous posts
200k. 250k sells. Today seems like a final flush.
20p holding. Deal has been agreed at 20p and these are 100% being accumulated by a buyer.
first its 17p entry and now its a big buyer. deramp when ur out, ramp when ur in...
as i said earlier, once watever is lurkin in the background (cash requirement is the key question even by longterm holders like MM) is out in the open the SP can move on.
Will she, won't she? :)
There is no way the price could or would have held up the way it has unless all the sells are being bought up / order filled. On a normal day we would be going much lower but it seems 20p has been agreed by all involved. It’s my opinion that we move up from here. If we were going lower then by now we most certainly would have. You can’t be putting 100k-300k-400k sells through and not moving the price. Something big is afoot here.
watever bit of news is lurkin in the background just needs to get out there. it the uncertainty thts damagin imo.
Still holding this stock. cant understand why the price is down as we have done all the things right. Great opportunity to add more here.
rather than the idea of a forced seller I am wondering if there is not perhaps a disbursement of shares happening as part of some undisclosed business arrangement coming down the line. it would be nice to know if the large share transactions are coming through one or more brokerage houses
You may be right ; i am just always nervous of companies wqhen cash looks to be running short. i am sure something has to happen ; my fear is a discounted placing, but we DO have, I think a very desirable project. As ever, we shall see....
cristal, I wondered if that might be the case, but there was little in the figures to put a handle on it. But it will be rather more than just G&A ; metallurgy, feasibility study, etc, the NKALONJE HILLsampling, all cost, s do the various Hypromag and Polish commitments.
2 Quarters at $2m per q, at a bare minimum is my guess, leaving just a quarter's worth of cash. Dyor, please, that's just how it looks to me based on such sense I can make of the Nov 3 release.
Agreed, the only raise will be on the back of the BFS to support next steps. This drop is a forced seller, no doubt and subsequent sheep.
Story unchanged. Future is very bright. Buying opp only.
Historic cash burn figures from 2020 and 2021 are NOT RELEVANT - they were completing a large drill programme FFS. currently sat here idling, with just overheads etc.
