Super. To be fair the average PI or the advanced investor does not know. That’s the truth. You can’t say pentagon without facts. Yes they have had discussions but the jonas group seem to have done bog all and all this news coming from Malawi and we keep falling.
So the question is ….do I want to believe the pentagon will find this? …hell yeah
Reality is …. We don’t really know anything other than a few strategic investors have come on board and out sp is getting smashed and constantly falling to a level where all those clever clogs who bought in at 5p are only up 200% now after being up 600%.
Until the sp does not recover its wise not to associate any company or institution with Mka because we all have in the past including myself.
Assumptions have trapped many here and one thing is for sure ….. we don’t know who or how this will be funded….for sure it will and eventually sp should rise but don’t count chickens before the eggs hatch.
The ministry’s Principal Secretary Joseph Mkandawire said government is negotiating agreements with three firms that have finalised their exploration works.
All looking good. When the market figures this out we will move up big time?
Soon we will be off our BACKS and back on our KNEES again?
Same here. 2 top ups for me @ 18.44.
It's a no brainer .
Down again on this news. Do the average PI not realise that the Pentagon are likely to finance the entire project. I am buying.

Blog confirming update https://www.share-talk.com/ministry-of-mining-expects-to-finish-mining-development-agreements-by-june-in-malawi/
Wow massive news
Ministry of Mining says it expects to finish some mining development agreements negotiations with three mining firms by June this year to resume major mining activities.
The resumption of mining activities is expected to create jobs and enhance the sector’s contribution to the gross domestic product (GDP), which is currently at less than one percent, according to Malawi Government Annual Economic Report 2022.
The ministry’s Principal Secretary Joseph Mkandawire said government is negotiating agreements with three firms that have finalised their exploration works.
He identified the firms as Mkango Resources, a dual-listed mineral exploration firm, which has been engaged in exploration of rare earths at Songwe Hills in Phalombe, Globe Metals Limited, which will be mining niobium in Mzimba and Lotus Resources Limited, which acquired Kayerekera Uranium Mine in Karonga recently.
Mkandawire said discussions on the agreements are at an advanced stage and will be concluded soon.
He said: “From the ministry’s point of view, we look at technical aspects, usually how the mining will be done, waste disposal, value of the minerals, and the quality of the deposits.
“On another hand, the Ministry of Justice has to look at the legal aspects to question whether the agreement is in favour of Malawi. Then there are fiscal issues to be looked at by the Ministry of Finance, the Reserve Bank of Malawi and the Malawi Revenue Authority.”
For Mkango Resources, Mkandawire said the legal aspect is right in frame, while for Global Metals and Lotus Resources, the fiscal matters are currently prominent, saying all things being constant, discussions should be concluded by June.

Strange. Looks like the seller is still at bay. We need a few others to buy up and get some TR1’s like yesterday.
When will it stop ? God knows. Didn’t think seller would have any shares left my now.
Finally : I am not a firm believer in these so called institutions/ reputable individuals buying stakes. Many many have got investments wrong before. The fact someone headed Hsbc sounds great but doesn’t mean he’s the best stock investor. Confidence yes but it’s not stopped the price falling.
To say he's financially astute borders on stupidity, the guy has more financial experience than more than all the members on LSE and then some. He's obviously looked over everything and dug into this for long term...either with a plan to mine or complete asset sale to highest bidder.
His wedge of shares gives me an assurance of which way this company is going. Patience is what we need, he can't supply that, but he seems to have plenty himself!
One assumes this Newton chap knows a bit more than the vast majority of retail traders/investors. He's obviously VERY confident of a decent return here. I still stick with the worst case scenario is we get bought out for multiples of current value or we either go to mine/farm out/JV and concentrate on recycling business. Either way, us LTHs are going to be in the $$$'s in the not so distant future bar an all out war in Malawi.

from 28th April
"Mkango completed a NI43-101 compliant technical report and upgraded Mineral Resource
estimate for Songwe Hill in January 2019, and is currently working on a definitive feasibility study (the “Feasibility
Study”) which is expected to conclude during the second quarter of 2022."
Yep Bonker. Couldn't be a more clear buying signal. He had a great holding already - you don't add 25% more at that size on a whim.
RNS in less than a week?
Afternoon - presumably that 5% holder knows what he's doing by buying at 19p.
The book is starting to square up now. Should start to grind higher soon.
DFS in next 7-8 weeks?
BFS in two weeks.
Yes confidence buillding....even i am happier now having topped up again.
Gla
Very good to see
I think this confirms the Russian has been selling completely out
To drop to 19p with a 1% buyer, there has to have been a huge seller in the background
Very good to see the strategic investors taking advantage down here
Gives me great confidence so close to the BFS/MDA etc.
Seems like the chances of a discounted placing went to 0 after that RNS. Now just looks severely undervalued.
Newton increasing to 5.15%
Silvermaple. I feel your pain. Now is not the time to offend one another or clog this bb up with nonsense. I’m trying to limit the amount I post but let’s be civil about everything hey and hopefully when we all profit from our MkA trade then you can really talk trash about me rather than fighting now over peanuts … good luck mate. We will pull through this Together. :))
TBF - the market vibes out there are somewhat horrific so who knows what happens here or anywhere else over the coming days or weeks.
