Not sure if I am correct on this - I know MB mentioned Blue Chip Investors were involved in the recent placings - but there has been no RNS to state they have bought a certain quantity of shares over the % disclosure threshold to which there has to be a RNS - therefore in a way they are the same as us as in investors and their information is surely confidential and if they didn't want their names disclosed how is MB supposed to give out this info anyway ???
Hi Manro.
It may sound an insignificant request, but what it will do when the board states who these groups are, clearly demonstrate the type of company Matad is keeping.
I am massively concerned some of these “blue chips” may be Mongolian which will lead to serious other questions being asked.
I am sure the type of “blue chips” most investors envisage will not be on the Matad list.
Matad please tell us now. It’s a reasonable request.
Either be transparent with your shareholders or the SFO can look up your as-hole and obtain the information.
Spainish, agree it could give such an indication. But do we really need any other indication or evidence that we are dealing with outright fraudsters who are driven by their unlimited greed for profit and blatant disregard of our interests?
They are so cowardly and so afraid of the truth that even monitor our posts and seek to remove them. So my comment disappeared again and these scoundrels think that it can stop me or others from spreading the truth or determination to do everything we could to stop their dirty games with our investments.
You can buy on the bid, Buck needs to help us out here.
SP absolute f00king joke. Back to where we were in April.
I just wonder if we get another nasty news soon! It may just drop to 2p.
If they couldn't start digging what was all rush to drop the placing to 3.5p. They could have asked shareholders to take it at much higher price. I personally had more confidence to add more if the placing was 10p. Now we need to wait for about 10 months or so if sth ever starts.
Agreed Hamm,I thought at the time why go for wildcat drilling instead of going for the more likely chance of success ,ie Heron. Also why is it top secret about who the “blue chip companies “are?Again makes no sense
Manro.
Trust me it will be significant and give solid indications of how Matad is currently operating.
For the board to include the statement in an RNS means they should have no issues from a transparency perspective of providing the companies names.
This is absolutely as bad as Bergen deal. Poor long investors have had so much grief caused by these pack of theives.
MB is just a piece of shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. They haven't done anything right. Cagey guys.
When we had millions in a bank they could and should have started with the most likely chance of hitting oil rather than the least. How can anyone trust these guys!
All interesting points.
I just want the names of the blue chip companies.
Simple request.
They can be restricted on the amount of shares sold but not price , They can sell whenever they want
Apparently there is no condition for these ' blue chip ' guys. They can sell their shares anytime. They have lots of money they have been informed by MATD and they can sell the lot as soon as the price moves that might be one reason the share price isn't going to move up soon. MATD perhaps should have put a condition for the chip blue guys like they can only start selling their shares over 20p!
Still want to know who these groups are.
It’s a reasonable request.
