Sorry divi up 5% not 10.
Record profit in H1, confidence in H2 outlook maintained and dividend increased. Sums it up nicely. Divi up 10% final divi increase mooted. Can literally feel the earth move reading this.
Interesting comments and strategy. Thank you. S66.
Excuse me what do you expect the sp to do in the middle of a proper bear market which is highly likely to get worse. If you have spare funds and you believe in the co long term, keep adding to your position and lower your average.
This is going to get very ugly for most of us small investors so we better get prepared for much worse to come !!!
I was hoping this would be on the rise on approach to ex divi date, but no!
Keller is running to stand still.
Dont worry about it, this i a very solid company, you buy it for the yield alone !!
I am adding at this level and if, which it will probably will soon, go under £7 , then i will beg, borrow and steal to buy more.
Keller is one of the best run mid caps out there, a world leader in its field.
Taking a beating here. Is £6 a reality? Genuinely think this is over done even on news of yesterday. Is it day trading or panic? S66
Gone a bit quiet on this thread. Until we get an update who knows what effect the world events may have on KLR(?)
Disappointed that the sp has fallen back again. Before all the latest events was hoping for £9-10 this year.
This is becoming so tempting now as i feel if no better news coming over the weekend re the Ukraine situation, the sp could well come under £6 a share. If we see further deterioration in the situation, then most equity markets will see very steep falls with no bottom on sight. Keller wise, what we dont know is whether the co has major contacts going in Russia or Ukraine which most probably have been or will be suspended resulting in the co taking impairement charges on them. Knowing that the petrochemical industry has always been a big part of Kellers work, i would be very surprised if they dont have ongoing work there.
Anyway , huge gamble investing in any equities right now but Keller is fundamentally a very solid company.
Preliminary Results next week I believe, but is the current share price performance advance warning and a potential reflection of those results to come? Would appreciate view of some of the long term holders here. Thx S66 and GLA.
So it looks like I've put the kybosh on it.
Well I bought in today. So hopefully we don't get another step down.
If we get to 1070 I'll be happy.
Keller is a good company. A fairly decent dividend too.
I noticed a couple of institutions have bought recently.
Take away the ongoing crisis in Ukraine which has affected all major equity markets in a very negative way, there is no reason to justify the 20% fall in KLR's sp. If the situation with Russia further escalates and deteriorates, then we can expect i feel another 10 to 15% drop . But one should not deviate from the fact that fundamentally Keller is a very sound company, always delivering excellent results and paying a good dividend.
So for me its a great point to accumulate and if one has further funds available to further add if the price drops further.
Good morning. Keller appeared to oen at quite a discount this morning, have I read this right? I am in at a higher price than current but can't fathom out the price movement I this share. Does this just pick up on approach to dividend? Some of the forecasts seem optimistic based on where Keller price is st the moment. Thanks in advance S66.
TO 1,340 (1,300) PENCE - 'BUY'
No real move upwards after what i thought was a very good set of results. Most promising the 3 aquisitions which should be very positive earnings accretive very soon.
Well it HAS come down to £9. I feel that sub £8 may be a good entry point and as it's drifting and the next divvy is a long way off.
It looks more likely it will test the £10 level soon than come down to £9 !!!
Under 900 this becomes attractive !!!
Stockopedia updated consensus price is now 1109p
Ask price now 1002p (one buy today at 1004p) Ex-dividend day next week. Come on KLR!
Agreed. I've held from around £5, it's generally pretty stable. I normally invest in growth stocks, but this is my one true dividend stock . Once I hit my portfolio value target, I do plan to move atleast of my holdings here.
Thats not correct, the sp has been pretty stable with a max variation of 25 to 30 p up or down for weeks now.
Generally KLR is considered one of the safest shares to own with a very good dividend yield and is considered an income not growth share. But i also think that at the 775 level it would be worth adding again with a 900 target.
KLR seems to be one of those stocks that is always quite wildly up and down. The past would suggest buying the dips.
If the PE really is around 8 then in theory its undervalued.
