Me too but the analysts are still bullish. (From Stockopedia today: "Shares in Keller are currently priced at 788p. At that level they are trading at 23.98% discount to the analyst consensus target price of 1,036.57. Of the analysts with advisory recommendations for Keller, there are there are currently 3 "buy" , 0 "hold" and 0 "sell". "The Keller dividend yield is 4.56% based on the trailing twelve month period")
If they get anywhere near that I'd be a very happy man, £9-50 would be more realistic and I'd still be clicking my heels at that
Another £95 million JV following the £167 million JV announced in Feb. Keeping KLR busy. SP continuing to tick up nice and quietly.
Keller Group: Liberum reiterates buy with a target price of 1,070p.
I am anticipating strong results when they come this week but why is Norges bank , one of the worlds safest and most prudent financial institutions reducing their stake ?
In this for five years now reduced holding last summer to take capital gains, only ever made money on this one, dividend solid will add again if it slips below £6. Av. 6.10. Wish all my holdings were like this one!
I have a similar purchase price. Current dividend levels give a rate of around 5% pa and the dividend is secure here (fantastic track record of payment). Expecting a higher dividend - but would be happy with the same!
I don't mind that though. KLR doing well for me. Always impressed with KLR as a company when I was in the civil engineering business so dipped my toe in at 588p when I retired. Just now holding these, hopefully long term and twiddling my thumbs looking ahead to 2020 full year results on 9 March. 23.3p divi in August?
Well I'm hoping to get back to my buy price of 650.
Nice one, and positive! Keller are weathering the Covid-19 crisis well by this update. Maybe they put them in charge of the government stratagy! GLA.
Highlights
· We expect to outperform current market expectations for 2020, with full year performance at similar levels to 2019 despite the disruptive impact of COVID-19
· Financing and liquidity remain strong with net debt to EBITDA leverage further reduced to 0.8x
· Execution of our strategy continues with the creation of a new, more focused, Europe division
· The Board declares an interim dividend of 12.6p, the same level as 2019
· Our expectations for 2021 remain unchanged
Look at the share price movements in the past year. Share-price has been pretty volatile. Always comes down, then goes back up, and repeats...
Wouldn't have thought low 600's would turn into low 500's! Strange movements, but cant see what is driving it down. There's a trading update due soon, but surely it cant be that? Any ideas?
took two positions in here last week. Keller group is one of my favourite companies. Excellent management, excellent dividend and excellent profitability.
Yes. Even if it stay around the low 600s the reinvested divi is good.
Much depends on whether the global economy can grow again.
What do you mean , on the face of it it is a good company !!! Klr is an total star of a company Very little debt , regular dividends, great mgt and the undisputed leader in its field. And all this for only £6.30 a share. The mother of all bargains. With the new lockdown measures soon upon us , no question that the markets will take a absolute pounding so there will be a chance to buy KLR at an even lower price .
I wonder if the price is totally driven by the auto trading. On the face of it a good company.
Someone is having it bang off at this price, and it ain't me!
Cannot fathom why this is bahaving so. Thought with the dividend done and dusted we would see a small green movement. Just not so though.
Ah that's fine :). Thanks! I get dividends for some of my holding anyway :).
You don't qualify for the dividend I believe. Sorry. If you purchased yesterday and sold today you would still qualify. But you got a great buy-in!
Thanks for the explanation :). I find ex-dividend dates confusing lol. Will that mean i'll get dividends for the shares I purchased this morning? Or am I right in thinking I wont?
Ah thanks for the explanation. I thought I had played a blinder, getting in cheap and dividend also. I guess I wont get dividends for the shares I purchases today?
I had bought my first tranch at 618 - i had bought previously at 560ish and sold for 720ish (done this twice). I've been a long-term holder for a while, but traded stocks in April/May/June... This is still a fantastic company :).
Ex div is today as far as I know. Date of record tomorrow. I would think drop due to crap FTSE performance and Keller going ex-divi. Blow on a bruise! Thought I was doing well getting in at 630p at the start of the month, well done you. S66.
Today, 30th July, the share is ex-dividend.
I took the following explanation from the SEC website:
"When a company declares a dividend, it sets a record date when you must be on the company's books as a shareholder to receive the dividend (......that's 31st July as mentioned in Keller's original announcement). Companies also use this date to determine who is sent proxy statements, financial reports, and other information.
Once the company sets the record date, the ex-dividend date is set based on stock exchange rules. The ex-dividend date for stocks is usually set one business day before the record date. "
