I also think SOLG (yes I own this ;) at 21.5p much more interesting than CNR - trading at about 15% of NPV vs. CNR on about 30%. Massive capex but quality shareholder register, very low cost, should get built. Unlike the Sirius Minerals it's also a commodity people actually want. Huge CEO ownership too.
Because it's a close comparison. Similar production, similar NPV, for the Gold. But 2x market cap, and Kefi also has the copper. Your comments on skin in the game are fair but I would contest that at nearly £400k in Kefi, H doesn't have an immaterial position (though nowhere near the size of Condor). I missed Condor as was only just getting back into things so found Kefi.
Since then Condor is up 10% and Kefi is up around 50% for me. So on a backwards looking basis it was right to think the valuation gave kefi more legs, hopefully forward looking too.
Don't think anything wrong with Condor, though it really lacks any catalyst ex gold price till it gets the mine funded and built (for kefi ppl don't think this will happen so SP should rise if it does).
I compare stocks always, AAZ on about twice mcap/cashflow to SHG imo so after dabbling in AAZ as a producer I shifted most into SHG. Obv I didn't know AAZ's results today would be fairly horrid.
Not sure why you compare this to Condor all the time. My main investment is in Condor and the rest in here as I see huge upside to gold miners.
Condor has a top CEO in Mark Child who has *skin in the game* and invested his own money into the project along with a top top investor by the name of Jim Mellon who contributes millions to the project and has recently (as of last week) put his money where his mouth is.
Positive don't mind those idiots with their constant begrudgery. They haven't got a brain cell between them . Oilleak and smelly arse are clueless morons who obviously have their own agenda here and it is to try and keep the price low. Well they are failing and the chart is looking very good and is ready for the next breakout to above 2P. The catalyst will be the Saudi news. Also with ABS finally out of the way there is no problem getting funding in this bullish gold environment. I would expect all of that to be wrapped up well before October and there will be another major NR after the Saudi one. I expect that to move the SP well over 3P. Let's see if these idiots are still around spouting their nonsense when all of the above happens??
Normal to consolidate after rising almost 100pc. Still half market cap of Condor with potentially 2x the NPV.
Kefi running out of steam we need news
No one has released any bodily materials onto you. Multiple posters pointed out there was no need to repost the same information every hour last week.
And you do your credibility no service by saying me and Oilbit are the same person. As I already said - different language, different views on Kefi, and different interests (see my posts on Cello which is a million miles away from Kefi).
Positivevibes, don't worry about the background noise. Kefi is going to make its investors very wealthy WHEN we get BOTH projects up and running. Just a matter of time....
It makes me feel comfortable, knowing the Ethiopian governments 20mil is already being spent on off-site works and building the road's as we type.
I like typing here, it makes me sad that when I share the information from hours of research, showing why now KEFI are in the strongest position since the IPO ( stated in the end of year results RNS ) that I get absolutely shat on.
I'm far from a mindless ramper, and have done consistently well being a full time investinover the years. Im happy holding KEFI and believe Saudi news will take us higher, and will be holding until deal is concluded, as all signs are saying it's highly likely ( not ramping, quoting, Harry actually saying done deal, bar covid or state of emergency, in the most recent share profits interview) and I don't see us retracting any further from here, as everyday is one day closer.
I now await getting sh. It on by oilbit smelly Ben, and then always very suitably Investor 2.0 ( would I actually believe is also oilbit )
Good luck everyone, do your own research and don't listen to grumpy old men driving while looking in the rearview mirror.
And to be fair, picking a fight in an empty room given limited discussion today. Also just as 1 or 2 ppl are universally negative, 1 or 2 are universally positive, the rest of the debate is fairly reasoned. All positives (low valuation etc) and issues (drilling costs etc) are discussed in my posts for sure.
again - why are you here? If you're invested why haven't you sold?
smellyben, a most welcome articulate comment - and an opinion i wholeheartedly endorse. that the stock is being bought and promoted by immature commentators who cannot exist outside an echo chamber suggests in and of itself the price is overhyped. At about 1p it is a speculative punt with limited downside. But to wilfully ignore the history and red flags does raise questions as to motivation. Are they as naive as they appear, or is it something else ? I wonder if the well-know mining analyst Del Boy Trotter has some shares "This time next year Rodney we'll be millionaires".
OH FFS is that the level of debate - childish pathetic - what everyone should post is that this share is worth 20 points at least and we’ll all be millionaires next week and anyone who may have a slightly more nuanced and informed opinion is corrupt lying stupid etc especially as you have spent literally minutes researching and have bought on that basis. Oily is balanced and sensible he Nor I would have invested had we not realised kefi has some fine assets but to pretend the risks aren’t real and management have been poor is either foolhardy at best or deliberately disingenuous
I got friends in low places. The person knows who they are.
Who/link?
It has been brought to my attention that the guy is ****ging off kefi on here, yet retweeting positive stuff about Kefi on Twitter. Mmnnn
What game is being played?
The Ethiopian government and their people need TK and that is why it will remain on track, as per RNS with gold production in 2022.
There will be no more delay.
The government of Ethiopia have and will continue to do all that’s required to stay on the timeline outlined in the RNS.
This will happen.
