Another one trade ,my theory is the is news coming lets see,Tanto, typo apols ..
Tanto, lets hope he's come with some firm commitment to getting the economy going and mod contracts to build /repair ships
Dawski,don't disagree with you there
Well Boris is in Belfast today, lets hope JW is on the meet and greet list!
Hmm...Just remember all "the choppy seas" indicators ..never said it was going to be easy ! At least the Lagan is calm now and we have a great team and future in place with some world class appointments ....and a potential world class facility in the making.
Also we have a Board Appointment of some significant exerience in PR ..what we all need is this Government to stop worrying about supporting nail bars and retail and get on with supporting wealth creation sectors like ours ..so far lobbying seems to have been with no avail but all things considered and with the track record of H&W so far since take-over in truly dire times we "ain't half done too badly" --we now have a great aset base and capital funding but still "rough seas "ahead sadly and obviously ............
It’s been years!

Can't see how building ships in Australia is going to benefit INFA??

Edit: May bode well for H&W
Interesting article. I used to be a broker to Gresham House in the 1990s...I particularly liked the basis of their investment...Undervalued Free cash flow generation and not book value. If a major shareholder believes profitable revenue streams are not being discounted (by the market) they must have a reason to believe that. I can only draw the conclusion that, along with their perception of potential (in INFA) they have been given some reasoning to come to that conclusion.
Anthony Luzio, editor of Trustnet has wrote an interesting article where he discusses Gresham House and their investment approach and strategy. Reference is made to the purchase of Infrastrata by Gresham and the management team at INFA. It's a good read on the reasons why Gresham bought I to INFA.

Excellent. Lengthy, informative and highly accurate post Mr East.
We may all be “jumping the gun here” a little however as I understood that there were quite some deliberations to consider still by Daera.
This is quite frankly a humdigger of a decision to have to make by the Minister.
He will be battling the environmentalists and their legitimate aims against all our experts + the stated policy of the Gov. to support “shovel ready” projects and jobs like ours now.. more so with the crucial importance potentially again of H&W to the employment and commercial status and wellbeing of Belfast + it’s environs.
Remember too that a JR is not cheap . It will cost nearly £1k in fees to get off the ground ...also involve “expensive lawyers” ( I used to be one of them before retirement!) time delays and generally a lot of bother all around . If not successful any applicant will have to foot the bill of our “expensive” lawyers and that does not just include our newly found friendly-faced solicitor from Belfast but also probably Senior Counsel ..and guaranteed for such have to be given up front !! wow some risk and take note ... after all that who knows we may still be OK !!
The East.
Let's hope the lawyer is just another "gear up" towards FID. I remain quietly confident, sooner or later, ML will be awarded. The big question is how it will affect the SP???? Interesting times ahead.....
In England at least (assume NI is similar) just about anybody can push for a Judicial Review in most planning applications- protesters/ objectors usually threaten to trigger one if (typically residential developments) are given the green light.
It is normally nothing more than a delay and annoyance tactic, and would only be successful at preventing a planning application if the correct process hadn't been followed- they aren't designed to review an application against its merits or otherwise, just that the correct procedures/ planning laws have been adhered to.
INFA would have almost certainly had legal input throughout the working up and submission of the ML application, it might just be that they are now formally retained, or of course, they may have received intel that a JR is incoming and are diligently preparing for this.
The reports done for the ML application used about the best consultant experts you can get in the UK for the nature of the work, so would have a degree of confidence that the reports were technically robust so I'd probably lean towards an incoming JR...
Am adding when i can lottie as a i see this as a very low sheareprice compared to the potential risk/reward imho gl.
No probs Pacman. I am a happy holder since the Daily Telegraph article late 2019. I do not see why the PR dept have not highlighted the placing success in the media. Anyway, I have added on several occasions from 35 to 23. I was hooked due to the IM potential. Now that things are dragging on, I am becoming a little concerned that the objections are far weightier than I had assumed. With that in mind, I am going to take a few coppers off the table each 10 days or so, providing still at or above these levels, if no ML details emerge. If however, we see a close above 46, my positivity will be re-invigorated and all position reductions will cease. I only account for less than 50,000 now so not a big impact on supply/demand. Good luck all those aboard the good ship INFA
Be Nice to know what we are actually paying for!!! But given current performance:( I doubt we will know anytime soon.
Speedy,as long as he gets the job done you wouldn't mind paying him big bucks imho
Christrdg.
Clients describe him as "highly professional and very efficient." They forgot to mention "very well paid" too!
Tango. As I understand only the applicant can appeal the Daera decision. Consultees/protestors do not have that right, but can question the decision making process through judicial review. We really need a RNS to shine light here.
Lottie, I must apologise for my tone, thought you were one of our resident de-rampers,
All in previous RNS’s
More than happy to be wrong. I can't see the mention of 1.892m you mention, only the reduction in voting rights. I am new to AIM and find these shareholders notifications poorly designed.
I forgive you, you’re wrong
