Tango I don't think there's one company on the BB boards were the shareholder's are not calling for more communication from their BOD's in particular AIM its a casino with little regulation. I'm sure you know all this.
Cookie- for 2 years the one thing we could rely on was communication, Now we are in a position where money making has started and the possibility of getting the SP higher is far much easier to attain, BUT the bod have decided to pull all communication rendering the SP legless, any news will create spikes then drift down with no further updates. if this is the doing of the communications Director then best she go back to companies on the main market where stability in the SP more predictable. I still have faith in the ML and H&W but we invested to make money and just lately the BOD have very little respect for that. IMHO
Tango,Change of sentiment?,am expecting news soon on ml and gas terminal
The only contract released formally was in December 2019, 8 months later NOTHING, Be prepared for more drifting next week maybe a good time to get out and await the change of attitude towards Private investors.... The II's will do the rest IMHO.
SM. Cheers m8
Blue - liking the cut of your jib there...shipbuilding is an old, heavy industry the likes of which have largely long departed these shores....more or less. But, on a good day our engineering skills are a match for, or better than, any on this planet and so, taking JW at his word, I'm giving the man a chance and looking forward to a financially beneficial outcome for all stakeholders, not least the good folk of N. Ireland.
As a newcomer here, I don't have the history with INFA that others may have with it and its predecesors. That could be both a good and a bad thing, hence why I'm cutting JW and his team some slack where others may think it undeserved. With his lego set out he's clearly trying to build something in INFA which isn't entirely or even, perhaps, largely in his gift (ML?), but so far I'm following the dots and to my untrained eye it seems he's getting it more right than wrong.
Many are eager for news, and given the history of this company and the casino that is AIM, that isn't uncommon. However, we must recognise that many of the "building" tasks in which the company will currently be engaged (legal and governmental wrangles over the ML, negotiations with potential H&W customers, financial & commercial discussions around around viability of the Barrow-in-Furness FSRU) must take place behind closed doors and without any commentary in the public domain.
With a seasoned management in place to looking after our best interests, here's to some good news as and when it's ready. JW seems to recognise the value of social media at some level, so won't want to lose whatever currency he feels he's acquired with it thus far...
OK, ramble over and have a good weekend one and all. Oh, just one last thing...
Cymru Am Byth!
Thanks chaps, much appreciated.
What drew me to this share was the H&W connection, not the gas element as such.
I have always had an interest in the sea , ships, building them etc and living on the NorthWales coast and the Irish Sea
I feel that the Irish people need an economic boost. H & W has a long and illustrious history it has employed 000's over time and has suffered badly for various reasons. I really hope that H & W can make a big difference to that part of the world - that is why I invested in Infa.
A current, annotated snapshot of H&W from the https://www.marinetraffic.com site (the 3 x Viking sisters & 1 x Stena ferry):

Soz BT, I must have still been writing my post when you replied to Chris.
Fair play to you though doing some research and posting it (albeit outa date, lol). The more of us researching and posting the more info we have to make informed investment decisions.
TTNY, Thanks for you question/reply but as I explained to Chris the Marine Traffic Site that I have been using, with success, I may add, is still showing her in a damaged state in Belfast, It therefore appears that this is not now correct as the other site VesselFinder shows her elsewhere.
My original interest, not particularly in the Union Moon was keeping a record of the comings and goings out of Belfast and in particular H & W. After all, when you invest, quite heavily, in a company you try and gain as much info from as many different sources as possible. This search has probably turned out to be fruitless. anyway thanks to you and Chris for your "civil' responses to my post.
Chris, Yes I do see that this ship is showing off Holland. Thanks but I will not pursue the matter further as I can only assume that it has left Belfast. Cheers.
Chris thanks for your reply. I may be completely wrong but Marine Traffic, the site I use, shows this ship at Queens Wharf, Belfast. The MT site appears pretty well up to date and the ships in Befast Dock are listed with UM being the last on the list , there is no indication that she has left the dock. All I wanted to know, IF she is still in dock are H & W earning any wonga from it's prolonged presence and is there a possibility of scrapage/repairs!?
be good for future maintenance contracts.

BT. Help me out here please. I totally understand your question but can't fathom the significance of it unless you have additional info.
Union Moon was damaged in a collision 8 years ago. If it hasn't been repaired or scrapped in the last 8 years why ask the question now ? Has something recently changed to suggest it might be repaired or scrapped now ?
Assuming even after this length of time the owners now want to do something with this, then yes, it could be work for H & W. It could also be work for every single shipyard / salvage yard in Europe and beyond.
Your question is very clear but the apparent randomness of it with the timescale that's passed and with the fact it is docked near the Netherlands , i don't understand. . . . again, unless you have reason to ask it with some known information.
Tango, it was probably signed and worth millions of pounds! It's just the bod have misplaced the rns release button at the moment. I live in blissful contentment that the revenue is rolling in :p whilst scrambling around vessel finder, twitter and LinkedIn for any hint of life.
I was told by a person last week of a contract due for signing Monday but nothing released so maybe did not happen?
I have no other details, but without contracts, break even at year end at current disclosed (by others) revenue, will not happen.
Hopefully JW et al are working on the Bid with Navantia, I am sure that should be high on the agenda, though I am a bit sceptical as we are getting to the time where JW gets itchy feet.
Not really sure where you are coming from I see no sign of 'Union Moon' near H&W see link below:
https://www.vesselfinder.com
PS Union Moon is miles away off Hartlingen
PPS: What matters now is the vessels at H&W & hopefully more to follow.
Dawski, You seem to have a big following on this board - so listen to the questions asked in good faith. Not about historic events as you appear to have thought but and I will repeat. Does anyone know what is happening to the Union Moon.? It is a case of dockside fees or is there an opportunity to repair/scrap or whatever for H&W/
My advise Dawski is read the question before pontificating. First Glances can often be misleading- learn from you mistake m8.
Good man Dawski. Hopefully they might give us a bit more info around the activity going on at the mo. Anyone else have any contacts or sources of knowledge ?
Excellent idea and a way of attaining a “feel “ of real time activity .. have contacted two colleagues who may help and volunteer posts .. after all we did “save” their jobs last autumn and they seem a “jolly” determined group of stalwarts!!
Surely with the number of INFA shareholders now, i imagine some of them are H & W workers and on the factory floor. I even imagine some of them may even be on this LSE bulletin board too.
My point is I'd love to know just how busy the guys 'on the tools' are on a day to day basis in H & W. As I've heard no talk of any staff furloughed I'm assuming the workplace is busy enough and there's sufficient work there to keep everyone busy.
If you are a member of staff there it would be great to get some general feed back or if anyone here knows any staff on the coalface it would be great to ask them this to give us an idea of how busy things are in the Yard. Obviously I'm not asking any market sensitive information or anyone to go out on a limb by chatting here, but just to get some general feed back along the lines of 'yeah, we're up to our eyes and there's as much overtime as we want' or 'work is a bit slow at the moment and sometimes there's not that really much we could be doing'.
Please do say hello back and give us an idea of the current workload if you're in position directly or indirectly to answer this.
Cheers.
And me !!!
And so say all of us!
!!!!??? OK ...what most readers here are interested in is good positive 2020 news ...in fact any 2020 news !The post by you appears at first glance to indicate that we have a new entrant in the dock which it transpires is certainly not the case though the historical facts about its drunken captain's collision with the Stena Feronia in 2012 is worthy of a good read so in that regard your post is merited ..otherwise "tosh" and let's stick to current events, progress on which is sorley needed !!!!??!!
Dawski 37 What's with the !!!? I know the old news but what is the current news, if any about this ship that appears to still be in dock? If you don't know just keep quiet and let someone that does know respond.
