Excellent reaction today to yesterday’s RNS outlining the future plans for infa.
Wait until the marine licence is granted and news of big contracts awarded to really see the share price fly.
I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again.
We will do a 100% plus rise in a single day before xmas and given time we will head towards a £400m plus market cap.
Onwards and upwards!

Stokey12, I had noticed your previous post, the thing that got my attention was 29 acres of freehold prime waterfront land. I work in building industry and 1/8 of an acre is a large plot.
I am not an institutional investor so cannot access the full report. Is it possible for somebody with access to upload it to www.jumpshare.com and post the link so I can read it.
pacman27 In relation to your 12.30 post if you check my posting history you will see that I commented that the land by the waterfront might make a marina with housing.
“A formal land valuation will be undertaken immediately that will provide further guidance on the possible land value post re-zoning taking into account several scenarios, including but not limited to re-zoning for the purposes of mixed use residential and commercial, a waterfront marina etc”
Note... no plans at moment for re-zoning.
Great find Goose.

Meeting with the prime minister and potentially restoring a neglected shipyard to a full pipeline of important work, internally to England, and to increase our shipbuilding back to strength as we become more reliant on ourselves and less on the EU, promoting engineering skills in England and the local community, and in line with a national shipbuilding strategy, must all be seen as great things.
BTW, there is a new Cenkos research paper available.
Tango1 In relation toyour 11.17 post I would observe that the local MP is a former Attorney General so probably has a few cotacts in the government. This government does not seem to mind awarding contracts without tenders. I would also note that the award of contracts to Appledore would be in line with the National Shipbuilding Strategy.
Tango, Geoffrey Cox the ex Attorney General is local MP for the area he was involved in negotiations according to the press. The saving of the yard was critical for this area
It would not surprise me if a gov minister did not approach INFA about Appledore, There must have been an element of back scratching- GOV contracts and debt facility is for me now nailed on. I can now see us being a £ before ML because the news is not finished here IMHO...
Tango1, that's a strong point
Now there's a Harland and Wolff in Devon as yard's owner expands:

With Scotland threatening independence would it be British ships Built in Britain if they do leave??? Could be one in the eye for the SNP, and Boris would like that. :-)
The Bab**** consortium is more than likely the biggest competition to Team Resolute (which includes H & W) for the massive government FSS contract. I wonder what the relationship is like with Bab**** and the government decision makers ? I imagine the government were disappointed with Bab**** when their offer of this 60 million contract was declined and those UK jobs at Appledore were lost with Babs closing the yard.
As the government offered Bab**** a £60m contract to keep it (Appledore) afloat, forgive the pun, it is likely, following the visit by Boris yesterday, that a similar offer will be forthcoming. Additionally, I read that the yard was once a serious builder of trawlers. If Brexit can deliver the return of our costal fishing grounds, our fishing fleet would undoubtedly grow once again. As an example, Grimsby went from several hundred trawlers, pre EU, to just a handful post EU.
Loosegoose I just checked the FSS programme is a £1.5bn programme so if Team Resolute wins it even a 20% revenue cut to INFA would be transformative. With the PM's comments yesterday I would not rule that out.

Great to host our Prime Minister today in Appledore. It was a great opportunity to share our strategy and future plans for the site and encouraging to see the energy and enthusiasm he has for UK shipbuilding.

Exactly stokey1. I did some calculations before on the potential order pipeline in the published report by Cenkos and with the estimated win rate and industry average EBITDA and PE, the valuation is impressive indeed. Not easy to put a value on the pending ML and FSRU but one can safely say we are way undervalued right now. This might not give the overnight returns that many wish but from a medium to longer term there is value to be had regardless of the recent dilutions.
If the two shipyards do manage to win significant contracts then a P/E ratios would have to be applied to work out the value of INFA. A very unscientific check of other P/E ratios gives a range of between 10 and 15. In yesterday's RNS it was said that they were looking at contracts in the 20 - 100m range. This would give a very interesting valuation even if the earnings are at 50% of the contract value.
.....of Boris to lend a hand and start the rejuvenation of A&P today by painting the blue generator type machine ... yes, bright yellow with a gleeful joyous but somewhat bemused and slightly worried JW looking on .. plenty of News shots from inside the fabrication shed ... sadly all about masks in Schools and some stern words about the Beeb and the Proms and nothing about the urgent need to support heavy manufacturing industry and how our little AIM tiddler is leading the charge despite Covid.
Anyhow some excellent PR today though JW looks better in an office suit than a boiler suit !! The papers will comment tomorrow on our new “investment” but at least we have had a great forum here today .. tomorrow should be fun !!
It was only yesterday I made the comment in my long winded post that I didn't think for a second that JW and Co were spending this recent silent period thinking about the choice of Ginger Nuts or Jaffa cakes for their tea breaks, and that they could be working on something bigger.
I didn't expect though the lengthy RNS update on what they were doing less than 24 hours after my post.
To use a cliche, what a difference a day makes !
Congrats to INFA and all parties involved with Appledore. This I feel also strengthens the case for Team Resolute with the FSS contract tendering.
Radders, tomorrow and Thursday are still coming
So many BoJo and govt quotes that could be pulled out of this article.
Like this..
“There are potential contracts, and for reasons of commercial confidentiality and because of the procurement process I can’t go into the things that I would like to see, but I am hopeful."
And this from Geoffrey Cox MP
“They are proper shipbuilders – Bab**** were not. The chief executive told me ‘Geoffrey we’re not ship builders’.
“These owners are and this is the beginning of a new era for Appledore shipyard.”
