4theLongterm In relation to your 09.52 post my strategy in relation is simple. I have put a certain amount of money in my HL account it will pay for my basic entitlement. I will then apply for an exces shares upto the balance of the money I have. As this money was moved into the account specifically for the Open Offer there is no issue in it being tied up. Also I am using spare cash so do not need it immediately.
I think taking up the "Basic" placing is a no brainer, but any views on a strategy for the "excess" placing as if select max. it requires up tying up funds that may or not be successful in the placing?
Well we are half way through the consultation period and with the lockdown it gives DAERA plenty of time to be reviewing any letters of concern. In my opinion January is going to be the month of rapid growth in SP and Orders. AIMHO
Given that the 14m share placing, aimed mainly at institutional and large shareholders, starts officially trading today, it suggests all went well and the majority is in safe hands. The indigestion looks to be short lived. The second issue of 2m shares , via a rights issue, to all existing shareholders, will not be a problem. On a basis of 1 new share for every 29 held (at 45p), demand will be more than sufficient. Any shortfall will be easily placed. Onwards and upwards with a close above 52p still an important target.
Stokey nothing yet on trades
Agree completely Stokey. Good post!
ivans In relation to your 23.35 post while you are correct thata share price does on ocassion drop below the placing price, in this case 45p. I do not believe that will happen in this case for two reasons. Firstly, even since the RNS giving Notice of the Placing and Open Offer it has been trading within a range that has not gone below the placing price. Second if it was going to drop below the placing price I would have expected it to have done so at least once before now.
I accept that once trading in the first tranche of placing shares starts we might see a dip I would be surprised if it was to drop as low as you would seem to think. We will in any event see within the next hour.
most companies i have seen lately, will dip lower than placing price before rising back up.
so i guess, time to top up would be around 40p
From the placing rns..."It is anticipated that First Admission will become effective and that dealings in the First Placing Shares will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 31 December 2020 "
Could they be forward sold shares? If they are then the sp has held up well. I've also noticed consistent whole number buys...it bodes very well that someone is no buying in tranches at this decent price. Looking forward to 2021!
Tango. I hope not but I think they may be sells as I noticed, at around 3pm today, the SP dipped suddenly from 50 to 45 then minutes later back to 49. I thought it was a glitch as todays trades were heavily blue. I guess we'll find out tomorrow...........
I've noticed a lot of sizeable buys and sells for some time now. Lets just hope placees are positioning for fireworks in the new year. GLA
Tango1 In relation to your 18.34 post I see you have been spending your pocket change again.
Late trades.....
Mark, dont miss this great opportunity my friend
mark1976 In relation to your 15.08 post I have just looked at my HL account the extra shares relate to your entitlement under the open offer. You should be hearing from HL shortly about what to do to take part in the open offer. It maybe that you will be assumed to be taking up your entitlement unless you say otherwise but wait to hear from HL to confirm this.
They are your share entitlement under the recent 'rights issue' you should have a 'corporate action' request inviting you to take up the offer as I have today.
Has anyone else checked there share account & noticed some new INFA shares does anyone know what they are for please ?

I think Infrastrata would see some additional funding supporting investment / employment if Belfast were granted freeport status but it's not clear to me that Belfast has formally applied. Does anyone know, many thanks?

I received my message from Interactive Investors a few days ago & have booked my entitlement in my Stock ISA plus top up to 500 shares (money is tight) this morning but for those with funds it is potentially a bargain.PS I have just topped the account up to ensure I have the funds.
Radders99 In relation to your 10.31 post see my 07.29 post. HL will probably be sending out emails today/tomorrow. If you hve not done so aready make sure that you have the funds in your HL account.
