Tango1 In relation to yor 15.25 post what is the reliability rating on that using a 5 point scale where 1 is as reliable as a government statement and 5 is reasonably certain.
Bubble2021- I am expecting some news tomorrow. Call me a clairvoyant :-)
Two days to go till end of month, hope we get some news
Stokey, dont't expect any quick reply from the MOD on that one. There's 13 in Devonport and 7 in Rosyth al in various stages of decommissioning. One been at Rosyth for 38 years.
I have just seen this article https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/hms-trenchant-returns-home-to-be-decommissioned/. Someone on twitter has questioned whether it will be decommissioned or just tied up on the dockside. As INFA owns one of the few facilities approved for marine waste disposal perhaps it could approach the Ministry of Defence about the safe disposal of this and the other submarines currently tied up.
Saw this post on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6781203104697225216/ it would be interesting to see more about this webinar.
I am quite sure JW will be on the phone to DAERA 31st march to see if they have sent there opinion to the minister, Then hopefully update us.
There will be some compromise.
Personally I am confident that the gas cavern project will go ahead and it will indeed be shovel ready. The ML decision by government in my view will not be too far behind the environmental recommendations.
Stokey, there's been a lot of helicopters flying over to Barrow recently not sure what for though
There has been a lot of discussion recently about the Marine License and the Islandmagee project. However, little has been said about the FSRU project. Is the FSRU still being progressed?
There are now 3 working days to the 31st March 2021 & so far no update on the ML.Below is an article dated April 2019 & not much has changed since then concerning the arguments for or against the project.I sometimes just wonder if 2 salt caverns would have had the same reaction as to 7 which is a 250% increase of brine discharge.
At this point in time I would be surprised if we have resolution by Wednesday at best a proposal being issued for review by the minister.
At best I do not see resolution by Qtr 2 2021 but by which time hopefully H&W will have announced a number of contracts needed for them to at least break even & not require more funding.

It seems that plans were shared at the webinar I wonder if they contained anything new in them.
Yeah!!!!:):)

Massive demand for offshore wind
"To meet its decarbonisation targets, Europe will need to install as much offshore wind capacity each year from 2030 to 2050 as it has built in the last 20 years."
It would have helped if I had added the link which is here https://twitter.com/Harland_Wolff1/status/1375469197099171841
Just saw this tweet from H&W I am not sure what the webinar was about does anybody else knows sounds like it may have been another profile raising event.
stokey12- That's generally why people buy shares (because they think it will go higher) ;-)
Leaky ship stokey lol!!:):)
Stokey ,possible ,this will be a bargain atm imho
I see that the share price for no apparent reason has gone up 1.5p to 41p. Even when you look at the trde prices for trades there is no explanation for the share price. Are people just buying shares in case something is announced first thing Monday?
