Jabido In relation to your 10.50 post I am not saying that we will not see a new customer on April 1 all I can say is that I cannot confirm it from the Belfast Harbour website. On Islandmagee as I understand it all that DAERA have promised as far as I know is to make a recommendation to the Minister. I am not sure that they said that we would have a definitive decision by 31 March.
Having got suckered into hoping and believing that to be true I have now had time to reflect.... could it just be a bit of pre April Fool banter?? The continued contributions by all to this board are brill so again I thank everyone for the snippets whilst we wait for any news. I can't help but see similarities to another share I was once invested in....Monetise....a mobile phone payment technology company. Many shareholder's would do great research into potential work and contracts in the hope that the company was on the cusp of signing lucrative deals with banks etc. Sadly monitise were bought out at a pittance for what most (including me) paid. The weighted pipeline is huge for infa and it's now up to the bod to turn any of it into contracts that make us PI's wealthy. Get it right and we will be laughing. Get it wrong and it will show utter incompetence in being able to seal a deal as I firmly believe there are mega contracts there for the taking across the 5 sectors. Gla.... looking forward to the daera announcement 2mo! :p
Loosegoose In relation to your 10.07 I noticed that. The Belfast Harbour website is not showing anything coming in over the next seven days. Someone posted yesterday about a possible new customer docking on the 1 April. As nothing is showing on the Belfast Harbour website I wonder if the docking will be in Appledore is there anyway of checking that.
Seems both the Epsilon and the Portaferry II will depart this afternoon. Nice stay for the Epsilon - 24 days in the dry dock.
jfk9, I found this in the November 2020 investor presentation in the key points summary slide, "Having considered government policy and future growth trajectory, the FSRU project has fallen out of our top five areas which are wind and floating wind, hydrogen, tidal, battery and energy infrastructure." TBH, I would rather they focus on getting the ML and landing a few contracts that were included in their weighted pipeline than get sidetracked with the FSRU project.
"The line joins MSC Cruises, Viking, P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Disney Cruise Line, Cunard, Noble Caledonia, Saga Cruises and Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, which will all be offering round-Britain cruises."

They'll need local suppliers.......I hope JW is in touch.
WinH, good summary, you forgot the FSRU - what ever happened to that?
I live in hope that one of JW’s horses comes in before the next cash call.
You know things are close when the tree huggers (disguised as LTH) start to come out of the wood works
This is long overdue.
I have been patiently in this stock for several years now. I bought some cheaply then a lot more as the price rose a couple of years back, on the basis that I was sold on the idea that the gas caverns were a fantastic idea and the PR surrounding it was so positive, and the timelines not too distant. Little did I know about the marine license. Something I had in common with the CEO.
However, a small setback but still a good idea. As long as the company had enough cash to last a few months when the ML would be granted.
Then the share price crashed.
Then came a share dilution. Then another. Then another.
Then out of the blue came a shipyard purchase. Are you kidding? NO, this is a gas storage company, WHY? Then the PR came out - this facility would help fabrication of equipment for the gas facility. A shipyard? With the biggest dry docks in the Universe. Lets fabricate some steel for a little underground gas cavern company. Really...?
Then another purchase, Appledore. Why in gods name when you have the largest facility this side of Korea, do you need another one? Oh well probably a strong team behind it, and an experienced workforce to boot. Oh, no, is that not the case? Oh, just a manager and a workforce so long gone they have bough houses near their new work. Is there a plan here? Oh, a new yard door. Great now the contracts will come rolling in. You couldn't write this.
Next an annual report and a bumper bonus for the team (I actually couldn't find the exact figure- can someone help?). Though I did note that a Mr Wood owned a company that leased some ship assets to Infrastrata.
What had anyone done to deserve a bonus at this stage? Barely any turnover, no profits, just purchasing bankrupt worthless businesses.
Then some more acquisitions in Scotland. Seems like The CEO like many of us is stuck at home and suddenly wants to buy something, anything, it's Sunday evening. Lockdown retail therapy. Is there anything for sale in Wales?
MR WOOD. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?? I have no idea why I'm still invested, blind hope. I've invested a huge sum and I am only holding on because it feels like a low market cap if you have genuine reasons for these purchases, and you have contracts about to be signed?
Well do ya? Because from where I'm standing it sure doesn't feel that way. Are you living in any sort of commercially realistic space, are you on a wing and a prayer, or are you a bare faced liar?
Do you have a strategy (because as a shareholder I would like to know what it is?), or do you just think that you can emotionally blackmail the government to commit to building ships in hopeless UK yards which will all overrun massively in time and cost. Do you even have the expertise to build the ships if you do get the work? You barely have the workforce?
And next time you change the company direction. COMMUNICATION FIRST.
Two more weeks and then I'm out . Bitcoin is calling. My fault should have done more resea
Thanks Chris,reads different that's all

Razorshultz. Re: Islandmagee, I disagree. The longer the delay the lesser the probability of going ahead. Gas demand is decreasing hence the need for storage will decrease. Going forward and with all the transformative technologies being developed toward green hydrogen, who can say if a need for large scale storage will exist? With all the future develoment toward massive windfarm capacity it's quite possible there will be ample readily available green hydrogen. Just thinking out loud.......hope I'm wrong!
Agree dawski, I'm happy for Island Magee to be on the backburner, we have the very exciting shipbuilding stuff going with Harland & Wolff.
Stokey 20 million buy you think?
If you look at this page https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/INFA/infrastrata-plc/company-page there is an interesting trade timed at 17.06.11 I cannot work out if it is a buy or sell.
Personally I'm still hopeful for a very positive result on Islandmagee. I'm not expecting though for DAERA in the next few days though to say to Mr Poots 'let them there guys, go on ahead and dig those big holes under the lough, we're delighted with all the data they've provided as they've been very thorough'.
You can quite rightly ask then if I'm not expecting that, how can i then say im hopeful of a positive result. Q & A time might help.
Q - What do i deem a positive result ?
Ans - Digging big holes under the lough.
Q - Do i see those big holes started to be dug in the next 3 months
Ans - No chance.
Q - In 6 months then ?
Ans - Unlikely.
Q - By the end of the year
Ans - Possible.
Q - What do i expect as an announcement from DAERA in the next few days (before 31st as promised).
Ans - Very little (Maybe I'm too negative but my confidence in them to deliver as promised isn't high).
Q - What do i expect from DAERA announcement ?
Ans - To have a few suggestions or conditions but to ultimately sit on the fence and not give any definitive answer, and also suggesting it goes to the executive for a decision or even possibly an enquiry.
Q - Will it eventually be recommended to proceed by the Executive.
Ans - Yes, i firmly believe it will.
Q - Will it be appealed by the group protesting against the application ?
Ans - Definitely yes.
Q - Will this have it dragging out longer again ?
Ans - Definitely yes.
Q - Will the initial decision by the Executive be up held
Ans - Yes i believe. (This is where i now get my 'positive result' feeling from).
Q - Same question as above. Do i still believe there will be holes started to be dug this year ? ? ?
Ans - Hmmmmm ? Maybe not. But the holes i believe will be dug.
Q - Will those holes in the ground eventually hold Hydrogen ? ? ?
Ans - I'm not even going there, but Hydrogen does seem to be the buzz word these days ! !
Lets see how this all develops, and again, I'm 'medium to longer term positive'.
Do cows eat grass?it's like getting milk out of a cocunut!?,eventually it cracks and out comes the surprise lol:),just like news here imho gl.
As Manuel would say “I know nathing”!! Honestly, trying to balance up all the hard work done on the project to date and the money/time invested (inc all those Euros) against the probable understandable vocal opposition to the project .. trying to assess which way and how quick a final decision will be forthcoming is .. well like bog snorkelling or even knitting fog !!
dawski37,
As another who is somewhat "in the know", you are making pessimistic noises about IslandMagee - say it ain't so!
dawski37 In relation to your 16.51 post nothing is showing on the Belfast Harbour website apart fro departures tomorrow.
Just to cheer you lot up as all a bit gloomy today ! ? We have a probable new customer docking on 1st April ( no fool now ) and quite "a few irons in the fire" so to speak .Even if news on I.M. is not as wished for, there's a lot else happening as we negotiate those rocks at the harbour entrance on the end of of our first voyage. Be Assured !! Hat still available to be eaten !
Loosegoose ,yes that's what I was thinking aswell,Stokey .....4
stokey12- I would say 3
Bubble2021, yes 2 days! I doubt DAERA will be late. They sent standard answers to enquiries in January confirming their "latest 31 March deadline" deadline. Would be very tricky to backtrack. Latest Thursday morning for an RNS right? We have waited so long for something , I can wait a few days more.
