You hear more and more that hedge funds are going to move money from USA and other markets where share prices were at historical highs lately to the FTSE, where share prices have lagged and this is whats happening.
Expect to see the FTSE going a lot higher..I did say a few months ago we would be going to 7800..almost there.
IAG and other travel stocks and oil will go higher from here..
HOLD in my opinion...DYOR though.
IAGLongterm, ahahahahah..like that!!Hope not.
sundezena dont jinx it.....
Next resistance at 1.83. we will get there by results day, then its a matter of how good the results are. They did rather well during the xmas period i believe. And the removal of any tests ( announcement on the 26thJan) will help the share price.
All IMO..
P.S.Making a killing on these now..not to mention my BP and CCL.and obviously LLOY.
DYOR.
Jtan, for some, this 'panicdemic' was a godsend and they want it to last forever, then blame the death of granny on it and everything else that goes wrong for them in life. Let it go, just eat meat!
1.70p + close on the horizon after a looong time , still good price to get on board . Dyor
Please write more carefully. You mena, at your dentist practice? You tracked through genome sequencing the source of infection in your practice? You sound like one of the experts with your robust analysis and tracking data. Given the infection rate amongst school children, the probability that you can claim that was an infection source is pretty weak. And anyway, covid comes into your practice, did your masks stop it spreading in your surgery? No. But the likelihood is one carrier came in, mask saturated with the virus, touching various communal surfaces and inevitably leaving highly contaminated material which is then picked up and quickly spread around the others in your practice, and other visitors.

Please read more carefully. No one got it before the vaccination started and last summer, when kids started going to school. There are two different years if you remember )
either
"no one from our team has got covid"
or
"Most of us got it as soon as the kids stopped wearing them at school last summer"
Meanwhile the hysterical empathetic brigade try to use the age old emotional kosh to wipe out competing arguments. If we didn't have a vaccine, 'getting a grip' would be the single option as society would starve under perpetual lockdown.
I will repeat something I have mentioned a few times with masks. You will hear many qualifications for masks all talking about stopping or reducing the aerosol. A barrier will of course reduce the aerosol, although in the real world not by much. What you never hear discussed by the gods of TV is the spreading of the virus from touching masks saturated with the virus, then touching a surface and then somebody contaminating themselves touching that surface. Most disease isn't transmitted like this because the virus can't survive for more than a few seconds outside the body. UV is a big killer for example. Covid19 can last for a couple of hours outside the body.
The last time you heard about this method of transmission was right at the start of the pandemic when the TV gods wanted to promote masks. But then it grew to be an anti-Trump symbol in the states and all the rational discussion ended. When masks became mandatory thanks to the WHO retaliating against Trump for Trump criticising the WHO's pandemic response lockdowns and runaway contamination of populations was guaranteed. Every single wave of infection in every single place on earth has turned exponential only when masks have been imposed. Between forced full mask wearing, the rate of spread has never risen anywhere as fast. All the proof that masks have been the principle superspreaders is out there. Politically so many pinned their colours to that mask that backpedaling and accepting masks were an error, and indeed most governments have been aware of this for at least a year but trapped by the mask lobby. It is one reason why masks must be removed from aeroplanes. The toilets will become the perfect transmission route to infect the whole flight, something demonstrated on a flight recently - can't remember details but it was captured due to full plane testing somewhere recently.
Thank you Oil
Very few are dying from Omicron who are triple vaccinated and the majority who are triple vaccinated that contract Omicron have only mild cold symptoms. I put it to you that getting Omicron now may actually save your life if a new deadlier strain comes along later this year.
Masks spread the virus?… what are you talking about? How this even can pop into your mind? I was working with my patients in dentistry before the vaccination even started… and no one from our team has got covid, we were wearing FMs even in the changing rooms as a respect to each other and to our patients! Most of us got it as soon as the kids stopped wearing them at school last summer, luckily no one got seriously sick, because we were all vaccinated. How can you say that sort of things, it’s absolutely stupid and even more disrespectful towards people around. If you are young and strong, so your parents may not be so! Take care and best of luck!
Johnbri4... well said! Holy words...
After a weekend of pleasure I thought I would pop on here for a laugh. Never disappointed. big-blue you are without doubt the biggest pillock this bb has ever seen. In SA you would starve as no one is allowed in any shop without a mask. Canaries the same. No choice. You cannot fly anywhere unless you wear a mask. You will be going nowhere in the near future which is more the pity.
Masks spread the virus, they are the super spreaders. They only became a thing as they became a political badge, anti-Trump, to begin with. It is insane they have been used as they have. Nothing more than a comfort blanket, a tool for forcing social compliance on people who otherwise have individuality. Insecure people are very afraid of individuality and the pandemic has allowed a great deal of forced compliance. It is breaking down, has been for a while. In the years to come, as the enquiries report, masks wearing will turn out to be the biggest error of all.
Funlive... Very sorry to hear that, mate. My condolences... I am sure Ed1 and his fellow rampers will be thinking a lot more about their bloody IAG shares than your grandma or the millions more who died of this virus. 300,000 new cases in France alone today, but our good old Ed1 says we have to get a grip. Let's hope none of his beloved ones falls victim to it
Yes, say it to my poor grandma, who died from it last week ((
Ed1... "People need to get a grip" you say...
Unless one or more of your family and loved ones has died from Covid.
Posting such a disgusting tweet to ramp your IAG shares is immoral, unethical and utterly revolting.
I hope your IAG shares crash tomorrow.
No masks. The sooner everyone gets Omicron the better. 3 jabs plus Omicron makes us all bullet proof for the next 18 months. People need to get a grip.
Danphonic, so I was right? I called it last week, yet when I was having banter with another member, people got ****ed and when this moron goes off in a Tourette rage he gets recommends? Says a lot does it not?
Don't take advice from strangers, only take advice from someone you are paying a lot of money to give their advice to you.
I would keep masks going until spring in shopsbect it will keep cases down going into spring summer time.
And it's no bother for people to do or keep doing gorva few months.
Just a point dies anyone put there hand over there mouth these day when sneezing coughing manners of pigs of the people I see out these days
Lowest daily covid numbers again…..Boris has to remove all restrictions asap to survive and move this on
Expect 5% rise this week and slow and steady rise to 220/230 over next few months
5 recommends for mumas illiterate incoherent ad hominem rant? Someone obviously using multiple accounts.
Oh, I see another green banner, she pops right away. In coherent rambling from someone that suffers from Tourette's.
