In terms of the deterioration of the BB I've seen similar on a few others as the share gains momentum and starts to gain visibility.
An influx of traders, rampers and derampers, those in a for a punt, newbies and trolls join, and very quickly, the expert knowledge being shared is buried amongst; excessive ramping & deramping and insults being traded between the two, newbie questions, bleating by those who thought they could increase their investment 100-fold overnight, and then there's the trolls: some subtle and some whose comments suggest they have more teeth than braincells.
I guess the above is a result of the success of GGP - it's a price to be paid... sadly.
I've only been investing for about 16 months so that makes me a newbie. However, I try to keep a low profile and I'm still learning about the AIM Wild West, MMs, Gold, mining etc so apologies that I bring little to the party other than a mildly amusing user name. I am grateful for the outstanding knowledge, analysis and comments shared by a number of posters on this BB.

The Stag Gang have turned out to be such an excellent and charming bunch, and it is essential that we maintain standards.

Hi Dimvestor, on a sunny day I wore a huge hat in red and
a passer by asked whether I was Paddington Bear or Miss Marple?
He was spot on. You'll find out when I join the STAG or MITRE, Hampton
Court or Pub near Petersfield. I am keen to come and hope to join the
party when possible. I am a bad , dangerous, driver and have to be careful.
Oh dear. Keep smiling. Mapp
Brilliant Paddy. Well done. Thanks.
RK
Good morning mapp. Would I be correct in calling you Pam P?
We were sorry not to meet you & your daughter at The Stag this summer. We had a couple of excellent meet-ups near to you. GGP shareholders are a fascinating bunch of diverse characters.
Maybe you can join us next year, when you have no further requirement to self-isolate.
Enjoy your weekend. Best regards.
Small portions changing hands. From weak to strong.
The rich and strong stayed long . The weak lost faith.
Dropped out of the race. C'est la vie. Take care.
Life is not fair.
4522 letters is a record and makes Mapp an expert?
In What? O.A.P. with insider information or retired detective
determined to find the truth?
I sold too early on the way up but kept enough
to stay invested. Now I am collecting on the way down
and hope to catch up again. AIM is a game.
Spy, and all the L & STH's who offer fantastic research and insights, is what has made this board such a godsend for me since I first bought GGP in Jan 17...
I have never had much of a presence here, as my available time, and knowledge of mining and geology is very limited, but thanks to all that have either shared their existing knowledge, or had the time and mental capacity to do the research..
I too loved the earlier days, with friendlier banter, and probably a hell of a lot less at stake financially for many folks..
Thanks to GH & CB, our golden memories are being replaced by a xxx OZ of GOLD...
GLA LTH's
I remember buying £100,000.00 worth in one go many moons ago and someone wrote WOW big buy. hahahaha seems like that occurs all the time now and so it should. GLA onwards and upwards you Greatland Warriors
Whatever happened to our Aussie mate Chartbuster.
Not seen him post for quite a time.
Coming up to my 3rd year on GGP board. Anyone remember Tiburn? While he held these shares he provided excellent research. He’s still posting on 6 other shares, mostly Oil & Gas.
Pass muster yer pearle! ;-)
Top post as always Paddy, nice one mate.
Its looking mahoosive !!!!
Great work paddy thanks for sharing, farmerlad
Fantastic work as always Paddy, thanks for sharing
Hi Paddy
Well done for that.
The tonnage though depends on what specific gravity is found on the chalcopyrites which I've read is around 4.1 whereas H&P used 3.1, so it will depend on the density of these.
I would have thought an average of 1 to 1.5 g/t rather than 2g/t.
The size /volume is still up there with the likes of the Superpit or Boddington mines mainly due to its depth
ATB :))
paddy:
after the first drilling results were announced by ncm i knocked up a spreadsheet assuming hole depths of 1200m but ignoring the top 400m. i couldnt find the actual depth each hole was drilled to at the time. from one of your diagrams i calculated the volume of the deposit and averaging the drill holes across the total volume it came out at about 5g per cubic metre. i added the second set of results later and didnt believe the figures it gave me so i scrapped the idea. it did, however, convince me that havieron was much much bigger than anyone was giving credence to at the time. i still hold that belief, even more so.
best wishes john
Spy - I still remember when the found small nuggets at BlackHills and the SP shot up 45%. At that stage all the excitement was there and not HAV. Having said that the BB use to get excited when there was a GBP10k purchase!
Thanks for that, Paddy. Havieron plans are starting to look more that bulbous shape on Callum's screensaver. I remember the depth of the deposit that the computer model implied. All we need now is the accidental release of the working model of Leapfrog, which NCM will have compiled.
Wow paddy that's some hole lol
whos for a friday RNS?
I have only been on here a week or so so this is all I know
Thanks Paddy. Brilliant as ever. Good to hear from you
Just catching up with last week's posts...... see you in a year's time!!!
