Yes, I think they will be new shares similar to a fund raise.
I fact it is a means of providing the remains of the purchase price.
Hi Everyonesawinner, don't they get newly issued ones?
could these missing shares be for that purpose of paying off the original land owner, what do you think hydrogen is that possible???
From the comment from John O'Callaghan, it must be assumed that if they are not winding down at Telfer they are involved in expenditure to extent the life of the plant, and maybe setting up refined process ready to deal with 'our' gold.
All the comments reinforce that while no official decision to mine has been taken and announced.
NCM board have using the results they already have made to decision and will announce it at a suitable time so as not to undermine GGP share price when the shares that have to be issued by GGP are issued to the previos owners when the announcement is made.

Good news for WA job creation! Newcrest Mining's ageing Telfer goldmine in the East Pilbara looks set for a renaissance thanks to the nearby discovery of high-grade Havieron gold-copper deposit by explorer Greatland Gold.
Newcrest’s chief operating officer for Australia and the Americas, Phil Stephenson, praised the Martu traditional owners and Western Desert Lands Aboriginal Corporation for helping the company with its expedited timetable for Havieron, which he noted would provide continuity of operations at Telfer.
“It wasn’t that long ago we thought that Telfer was in its twilight years and we were on the wind down,” he said.
“This project will help us move from impending closure to a bright new future which we are very excited about.”

Looks like it Bamps :)
Hi Bamps . I can’t get the LinkedIn profile up - can you summarise what was interesting please?
Could be Mickey. Ominous that all these targets are on the same side of the fault.
The trend through the ore body I’m hoping it extends up to Lake Havieron but some of the pressures deep down have come up through the orebody. If it’s gone passed LH could this be why all those drill pads out to the west which caused some speculation a couple of months back

This is interesting

Is that our portal :))
This is big news right Bamps?
The Havieron thrust fault runs on a NW-SE line from the Artemis licence SW of Enterprise , on into the Havieron licence SW of Meco and on into Scallywag, SW of Teach, on passed the SW of Blackbeard and circling round to the N of Kraken and S of Archie.
It could be very crucial in finding another ore body
Hi Rotherby
The comments about diorite dykes is a new one on all of us.
Can I refer you to page 29 on this Artemis presentation
https://wcsecure.weblink.com.au/pdf/ARV/02358672.pdf
The brown area of interpreted granite perimeter in the Havieron licence runs on a NW-SE line slightly NE of Havieron North and Zipa.
Apollo though is central between that granite perimeter line and a north trending fault that goes off to Outamind.
Meco and Enterprise are situated near the Havieron thrust fault.
The one we don’t know is where the diorite Dyke/Dykes are within the ore body, these are suggested to be the cause of the intrusions into the ore body.
Diorites are known to come from basalts and granite.
Diorite is a course-grained igneous rock that forms when magma rich in silica cools slowly deep within the Earth's crust.
Rotherby as was commented on Twitter, things will not run in a straight line, geologically anything could have happened, but generally there won't be any right angle turns, so anything on that NW line if it is an anomaly is worth looking at. Imho
Windwalker ... Updated MRE every December. PFS ..September, FS next year (plus other drilling results could) will have significant effect on the share price .. not taking into account the price of gold and copper !
Paddy - looking at your twitter posts, how far to the North West does this line go, is Scallywag on the same line and the other targets in that area?
Peter, the straight answer is that a Dyke is a (fundamentally) vertical igneous intrusion through a sedimentary layer of rocks, often, but not always associated with volcanic activity.
LOL @ Tig
Petersalkeld.....I can only perceive that to be a highly provocative question........ and I look forward to all of the responses.
Tig
PS maybe this can explain.

Sorry to be so ignorant, but what is meant by a dyke in mining terms?
Thanks Paddy.
Seems like a number of levers are pulling in opposing directions.
We have what appear to be the true start of economic and stock market uncertainty, partly fuelled by the COVID fallout.
There is a lot of speculation - ongoing for some time - that PM prices are set to surge.
NCM continue to progress HAV at breakneck speed and seem to be optimistic about increasing the footprint.
GGP are setting out on an aggressive drilling campaign.
The net result seems to be a stagnated share price waiting for some significant news to drive future direction.
Thanks Paddy. Ever since NCM have come on board, we have learnt that they don't tend to speculate on potential findings. They tend to be cautious on their messaging, which you would expect from a blue chip company. The added phrase of under promise over deliver would be akin to their strategy. To go public on these new targets (to their peers) is not something they would take lightly, so yes they must be reasonably confident, with these areas. Interesting.
I think the NCM presentation this week could not be described as anything other than "bigging" up Havieron. They have been mentioning the additional targets in the exploration reports since the start of this year - I don't think it's any co-incidence that they chose the Diggers presentation to make these targets public.
NCM already have their 70% of Havieron sewn up - They will have to pay up the necessary amount for their 5% at FMV as assessed by an independent industry professional - that will set the benchmark for the remainder or we carry on as a junior partner in the biggest Tier 1 discovery in WA for a long time.
Either way - it's just a case of seeing it through to the conclusion.
ATB - Paddy
Thanks Paddy with truscan in place they have a good idea what's there.
