Too right Turbo and the restrictive elastic band holding us back, currently tighter than a 1972 Diane Abbott trouser suit, will have well and truly snapped, sending our sp into orbit! (Well 16p anyway) :)
Wait until they include the copper as well which is in short supply and is heavily used in hydrogen cells and wiring if electric cars, and if it is more like 8-10mil ounces of gold 56p + an extra but for the price of gold (calculations seem to be made using $1500) by then plus the copper, we could be looking at just under the magic £1 just for Hav if we are lucky :)
Mush I’m quite happy to wait until October by then gold might be $2250 a oz which can only be better for all of us on a valuation. Kerching.
'A Tier One gold asset is a mine with a stated mine life in excess of 10 years with annual production of at least five hundred thousand ounces of gold and a low cash cost per ounce.'
It could be that the MRE would be delayed to later in the year to ensure that this is announced for Havieron. The results from the extra drill holes in the South West might be sufficient to 'get it over the net' on the first serve.
Hope so!
Well Oct would fit perfectly with the estimated time of the MRE. I thought late Sept but as NCM are drilling extra holes I'm happy to put that back a bit to firm up the resource. Cheers.
@TMT - I guess the level of MRE is completely in the hands of Newcrest as they are the "manager's of the farm-in" - they will decide where and when to drill and when they are happy that they have what they need they will announce it to the world.
The Diggers & Dealers conference at Kalgoorlie is on between the 12th & 14th of October and Newcrest are down to do a presentation on Tuesday 13th @ 11.35am - that would seem like an opportune time to announce a nice big MRE to the Aussie and worldwide mining fraternity IMO.

@Paddy "personally I will be happy if the Hannam figures of 4.5Moz are proven up. It obviously depends on how much more drilling that NCM want to do before they declare."
I agree. But this is something I'm starting to wonder about -- don't they already have enough to have an MRE of 4.5 moz? They've got to be close. Why are they waiting to declare? Are they going for a 'knock-your-socks-off' MRE? Are they trying to negotiate acquiring all (or more) of Hav from us and holding off from an MRE until that's done for some reason? (Obviously in this case they'd be disclosing everything to our BOD.)
I'm just curious as to what the trigger will be for the MRE. Do they have a specific target amount they want to have proved up? And if so, how was that determined?
Maybe only the NCM and GGP BOD know the answers.
Chris, the NCM Quarterly results are announced on 29 Oct., not the 22nd.
We should have interim results before then but I’m confused whether they are due 3rd Sept. or the 10th.
Thanks Paddy - I was also perfectly happy with the RNS, just getting ahead of myself having seen all those unreported holes on your map. Hope GH saw them as well!
Hi LA - I thought there was a lot of metres reported in the last report and I for one was very happy with it. I've just had a quick tot up and including the wedge holes individually there were 13 holes reported or updated.
I do think we will get a significantly larger amount of holes reported in the next interim report though - Paddy
13.10 - Paddy, were you surprised we didn't get more holes reported in the last Newcrest update - or maybe they needed to re-check in the labs before disclosing
It looks like the night of october 22nd is going to be a special evening, awaiting that report. I for one will be happy to wait for that. Only 11 weeks
@greenmile - personally I will be happy if the Hannam figures of 4.5Moz are proven up. It obviously depends on how much more drilling that NCM want to do before they declare.
Anything between 4.5 and 8, especially if it's just the high grade sulphide would be a great results IMO.

@MFU - the holes that you are referring to in the SW are even further SW than the map and I haven't even shown them on here for fear of confusing people even more.
You are correct with the amount of holes to still be reported and I'm pretty sure a lot of these holes will have multiple 'wedge' holes from the same collars - so lots of results to come in the reports from now on.
Paddy
paddy thanks once again
do you have a ball park estimate in mind for mre haverion alone?
Paddy thankyou that's great work again.
Just trying to keep up and looking at your drill map from 23rd July am I right in thinking the following are potential unreported areas;
a.6 to the NE
b.5 to the N
c.4 to the W
d.6 to the SW
Are hopeful of some results from ALL of these ? Do the SW 6 include the mystery area or is that even further SW ?
Many thanks
