RNS; 5th May, 2021, 5m shares @ 25p.

nothingspecial - can you post the link quoting the 5m share incentive for SD please?

Hi spades
Play nice!
He knows that you know that I know and we all know F All:)))
Have a good one:)))
I take your point which is everything posted on here is opinion. There is an RNS I believe of GH buying back at 22p, so not totally disillusioned but he is entitled do what he wants with his money as we all are. When Shaun took over he is entitled to 5m shares when the share price hits 25p and gave him 5 years to do it. Why do you think that is? I've said before I think the current value of GGP is 21p and realistically we are waiting for December for updated results.
Speedy - evening.
An interesting hypothesis.
Lots happening between now and the DFS.
Let's see how NCM handles the 5% option first - could be a clue to what you suspect.

Thanks Panama - it crossed my mind that it wasn’t 38p that GH sold at, but I couldn’t remember for sure.
Sorry Nothing but GH selling out has nothing necessarily to do with what information he may or may not have had. Have we heard of him reappearing elsewhere? Could he therefore have decided that 38p gave him his desired lifestyle until he decides to resurface somewhere else, if not retire altogether? Alternatively he might truly have felt disillusioned by GGP and pushed out too early so may have cashed out for that reason. The truth is none of us know so your suppositions are just like mine - suppositions. You seem to infer that we will not hit 38p again and that’s why GH sold out - pure supposition and you should state it as such - not to worry - I’ve done it for you!! Roll on tomorrow when more facts will out!!
GH sold out at 22p if my memory serves me right?
I'm not expecting fireworks tomorrow. Alot of different scenarios have been played out on here for a long time now, we all put the low price to mysterious forces and other reasons that we convince ourselves of. I stick now to what is published by the company and the language used. Everything else is just opinion which needs to be balanced. GH sold out circa 38p, that says alot as he would of had more information than anyone on this board or chat forums.
Evening Ben, I think you’ll find Tymers quaffing champagne down at the gentleman’s club with all his spivvy mates, discussing how much money they have made today, with their off book trading, that us mere retail investors are not privy to.
There is a significant number of PIs who simply will not behave as they are supposed. The shorting of this share has simply galvanised them to resist any attempt to wrest these shares from their grasp rather than frighten them into selling.
How very inconvenient for the sharks.
Furthermore, they didn't sell at 38p so any derisory offer will simply be rejected. Shaun may be duty-bound to advise shareholders of a takeover bid but only the quick buck merchants would agree to a low bid and the iis are outnumbered in share ownership.
GGP is set to grow and is in very good hands. :)
Oh bye the way where’s Tymers I miss his thoughtful thoughts and classic statement’s !
Especially when you know you know:)))
All I think will be revealed tomorrow night!
But one thing which I think will make us sleep better is Shaun has full intentions of turning this into a multi billion dollar company and this is his best opportunity!
I don’t think he will have another chance in his lifetime, so if he wants to establish himself as a top gun this will be it!
Good luck all and here’s to a good future
It's my understanding that it's the highest price paid by that party looking to takeover not the highest paid by anyone in the 12 months. I think also the majority of shares are held by private investors which would make it interesting.
It is the highest price paid by NCM (who there is no evidence of actually acquiring any shares). So the 12m high of 22.75p is not relevant.
22.75p is the highest price over the last 12 months (according to HL's figures) so if such a pitiful offer were to be made (even with an additional premium) they can feck right off and go do one as far as I'm concerned!!!!
Hi Speedy- the offer coming under the Takeover Code, when a buyer acquires “control” of a target company it must make a cash offer to all shareholders offering to acquire their shares at the highest price paid in the last 12 months.
I don't have the highest SP during past 12 months to hand but I have been thinking that NCM have been controlling the SP.
Hi All. GGP stock on loan now stands at over 95mill. With the SP in a range around 12/11p and Newcrest down playing Hav i see no other reason for this setup other than a TO bid from our JV partner. Wonder what their top offer will be. ATB Speedy
I don't think the results are really going to do anything to the GGP price immediately but will be interesting to newcrest shareholders. We need confirmation of the 5% and then waiting for December. Until then it's as you were in my opinion.
Assuming the upgraded MRE does materialise on Friday, also adding share price suppression coupled with rising shorts into the mix, could now be the time NCM make a move?
I agree! Hopefully it’s the reverse of what normally happens! Lol

Hi sharky
It could be worse we could be invested in retail!
There next couple of years ain’t looking good, poor gits especially the ones working in it!
At least we have a rainbow on the horizon;))
Fingers crossed but the market doesn’t exactly look excited so far!
Hi TT
Thanks for that I would of been up all night! Lol
Ben, it's not tonight. The year end results from Newcrest are due on Friday, Oz time, so late Thursday night here.
