Looks like we have a couple of Grauniad (sic) readers posting. You can always tell them for their depressing negative views.
sounds like Brietbart has taken over the bb .
EkXoc Donald Trump definitely knows where Georgia is. He was part of the Silk Road group who were interested in building hotels in Georgia. Trump was also a personal friend of Mikeheil Saakasvili the ex president of Georgia.
I don’t know anyone who reads Daily Mail , most in my circle choose Daily Sport of Star for their round up of national & international news, the only exception is a denier of reality who relies on Viz for current news .
What I do notice though on varies public / social media boards is the amount of folk who criticise & belittle DM which leads me to believe they are indeed its readership as they know so much about its current content . What I cannot work out is if they despise it so much why they are such avoid readers of it .
ODR - Surprise, surprise, The Guardian didn't print an article on the story, as they don't like to air news that reflects poorly on the left. Similarly, you have to go back a few pages to find one on 'Keir Starmer and BLM', if that is Googled. Even then the story concentrates on the interpretation of the word 'moment', to deflect from the fact that Starmer criticized the aim of defunding the police and the anti-Semitism.
IMHO this is on topic, as Trump is required for sanctions against the Russian influence in Georgia. When Obama was in office, there were no sanctions against Nord2. Nord2 and control of Georgia's hydrocarbons are key components in the control of the EU's energy supply. Hence, Trump has brought in sanctions against companies working on Nord2, and even companies who do maintenance on equipment that may be used by those working on Nord2.
I see a new low has been reached with the posting of a daily mail link.
Let's try to stick to rational argument please guys and also not off topic.
GLA.
Geela - No decent person would argue against the need for change in US policing to stop the unlawful killings, but it is the
anti-semitic and anarchistic views of BLM that are the problem. This is why people like Patrice Evra have ditched them.
Sky Sports pundit Patrice Evra led the way in DITCHING Black Lives Matter badge just before last night's show and Jamie Redknapp followed his lead as Premier League distances itself following group's extreme statements
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-8478305/Sky-Sports-pundit-Patrice-Evra-led-way-DITCHING-Black-Lives-Matter-badge.html
Geela - I will only reply once as this chat board should stick to information regarding Frontera .
If you google BLM Real agenda - you will find information regarding the founders and their
radical Marxist agenda..
EKZoc the key to all these groups is not what the rank and file think . it is the core who are normally very extreme and are the driving force. The methods are very well known and in simple terms goes along the lines of find a resin that will have a reasonable amount of support and has a likelihood of getting some change but not enough so you can still justify your existence and increase your financial backing. Once this has been achieved the core who are extreme and now hove both power and money then release the extreme views as you can say a moderate view has not worked. A quick look at history would suggest that this is taking place at present. Any group with an extremist at the core even if they gain power it is normally put back in their boxes if a silent majority majority exists and there is some form of democracy. As I think Enoch Powell or was it Churchill once said "All political lives end in failure"
Mills240 - not sure how you would glean that - police shootings and violence against people of colour in the US has got so out of hand. The peaceful taking a knee at NFL games was not listened to. How many more people have to die through police brutality before policies are changed. Police in the US have huge protection to stop them from being held accountable for them not following the rules. Something has to change...
Thanks for taking the time to write that MP I respect your opinion. But I would not regard BLM or Antifa as extreme left groups. Most groups have their extreme faction though.
I doubt Trump even knows where Georgia is, the issues there certainly don't seem to have reached his level yet anyway.
The situation with FRR seems more unclear than ever.
EkXoc - Under both communism and fascism there's a dictator and their cronies/oligarchs at the top, with everyone else at the bottom. Both systems are run like a police state with no freedom of speech, with spies and informers everywhere. Look what happens to anyone who speaks out against Putin, even when residing overseas. The same thing happened under Hitler. Both systems are the same and the only way to deal with them is to be tough. In the run up to WW1 and WW2, both Randolph Churchill and Winston Churchill wanted to keep adding to Britain's defences to avoid conflict with Germany. They lost popularity and Britain missed the chance to avoid war. Britain got an agreement with Germany to avoid war and we know it wasn't even worth the paper it was written on. You cannot be timid with dictators. Timid Ted was reluctant to upset China when Taiwan warned about COVID-19 and now we have millions of cases, plus worldwide economic disruption. When SARS started Brundtland was tough with China and demanded the data, saving the World from a pandemic.
Trump may be narcissistic, but that is the type of leader who is willing to take the tough decisions. Obama and Clinton may be more popular, but IMHO they're reluctance to be tough has left the World in a far more dangerous position.
IMHO this is why Zaza and Uncle Sam need to be tough with the GG. FRR has a contract, but when they don't get paid VAT money owed or permits to use your own gas pipeline, what is the worth of the contract. If it's not extended past 2027, then there's not enough time to recoup the investment required to develop the fields. The GD may give Zaza what FRR require, if they sense that it might help their election bid, but it's looking less likely. Therefore, it will probably require regime change to enable a deal with the SM's, hence the November date suggested by JRjnr.
If its Biden wins .... Zaza Will need to give dopey Hunter a job on $100K per month ;)
EkXoc - Both groups are on the extreme left and although they wouldn't be allowed in Russia, that hasn't stopped them being infiltrated. Have you watched the Yuri Besmenov video's? This is all part of the process by Russia to destabalise.
Clinton and Obama were willing to deal with Putin with open arms, while Trump has brought in sanctions. Putin doesn't want Trump, and neither do Iran,China or Syria for that matter. When Obama was in office, he told Assad that using Chemical weapons was a red line in the sand. Assad crossed that line many times killing and maiming Kurds with gas attacks and Obama did nothing. As soon as he crossed that line with Trump he bombed the airport used by the planes in the gas attack, but with a thirty minute warning to avoid bloodshed. The second time he bombed facilities used to store and manufacture chemical weapons as well as the airport. Assad hasn't gassed the Kurds since.
IMHO if FRR are still fighting in November, we will need Trump in for a second term to ensure the continuity of the backing by Uncle Sam.
The work shy wanting socialism hiding behind BLM banner
Putin like Trump becuase Trump is an self absorbed idiot, admittedly he can be unpredictable and dangerous but quite honestly nothing Putin cannot handle, Trump is the president of choice as far as Putin is concerned, indeed I am pretty sure they share plenty of idelogy. Putin is clearly the more ruthless and intellignet though.
antifa literally means anti fascist, both they and BLM unless I have been completely hoodwinked strive for equality. There are accusations of antiestablishmentism which is understandable due to the fact that the current US establishment has done little to promote equality. There are obviously extremist groups oeprating as there always will be but I don;t think these are representative of the the core.
In Russia equality is a joke, Putin is old School soviet, "all men are equal, its just that some are more equal than others', if antifa existed in russia it would be brutally repressed.. BLM simnply doesn;t even exist in in Russia, Russia are not in anyway aligned with the ideology of either group but I dare say are involved simply to cause trouble in the States.
EkXoc - Trump, just like Reagan is willing to use sanctions against Russia and the countries under it's influence, which is why Russia, Iran and China don't want Trump. Please explain how ANTIFA and BLM are 'on the other side of the political spectrum'?
It seems very unlikely to me that Russia is involved with Antifa / BLM, I expect there is some interference from Russian/Proxy trolls but Anitfa and BLM are on the other side of the political spectrum to Russia completely if anything Russian involvement would be to discredit these groups by appearing to be invovled with Russia! No doubt Russia is very active in Trolling the US and its allies but the fact of the matter is that the current US administration is a gift to Putin being as closely aligned with Putins poltiics as a US adminstration could be. I will not be sorry to see Trump go as far as I am concerned pretty much the entire global leadership right now is as bad as it can be.. though I remember thinking that about the Bush presidents only for it to get worse still.
Thsi article describes Russian attacks on anttifa annd BLM

EkXoc - There are other articles and two videos which are relevant in the thread 'Dated, but still relevant to today', the 13th post down in the link below.

Absolutely !
And Crimea is now a land based aircraft carrier. They've also Put-in huge forces and military hardware all around the Ukraine border.
Georgia needs to choose it's friends wisely !
Russia lead by Putin has shownmastery at subtle machinations to infiltrate and subvert other states with the prime objective of domianting the global energy markets. Venezuela for example, I visted Venezeual years ago when it was lead by Chavez it saddened me then the Us's stance on a nation that shoukd really be helping as a neighbour rather than sanctioning which was a result of cynical subversive and dominating actions by US companies much like what Russia is doing today.

Reading the article posted by MP yesterday (thanks MP) I was very concered to see how far Russia has inflitrated Georgia ..to the extent of reposting its localised 'spy' network ijn Tbilisi.. I think this demostrates just how far Russia has gone in subjugating Georgia, however I don't believe they have won hearts and minds and thier power there seems to be focused through a few uber powerful individuals. I wish I had more faith in the US ability to influence other regions. There is clearly will and all levels to facilitate fundamental change in Georgia. The electorial reforms could go a long way. However these are not yet a given and ew have seen them resisted already, even if they go through Russia can unfluence the elections in other ways. As such I am not optimistic about July 27th, I think Russian will, will be done, quite what the result of terminating the contract will be I cannot say, there was a time such an attack on an american commerical interest would have resulted in a very harsh response. The election still represents a real opportunity for change however I still haven't gotten over the ridiculous debarcle in our country over Brexit and can't help drawing parallels with the political situation in Georgia.
The recent silence by senators Zaza and GG is odd to say the least.
