Imagine Zaza & SN are confident of the long term prospects of FRR otherwise they wouldn't have converted their debt to shares. They would surely have tried to get their debt repayed as soon as possible or converted it to shares then sold the shares. I think they would have also sold a lot of their shares if they weren't very confident that they could get through this. They must have known what was coming up but bought many shares just about a year or less beforehand but never sold before delisting. Zaza must have a large amount of his wealth tied up in FRR and I don't think a wealthy guy like him would do that if he thought there was a good chance of losing it. If Frontera had no go in it easiest thing for him to do would be to sell up all shares before delisting and walk, set up some other company elsewhere that may end up with some go in it. He's basically in it the same as the rest of us shareholders and will become immensely wealthy when this comes good. We know the oil is pumping (when there are workers on hand at least) and there are vast reserves their now after fracking so there is good value in that it's not like we're in a company that is coming up empty handed on that. I'm hoping that Arbitration will be sorted in January and very positive news will follow that.
Ttime will tell on the masterplan.I think if you check posts from dec beginining jan,the posters now saying its close to being sorted were predicting an ooc settlement for january so its all guesswork . I suspect we are a way off finding out our fate yet.
Zaza to mole. Zaza left a message for mole while he was driving. He said everything will be OK just bump in the road but we'll get there!
Fair enough guys - it was all a long time ago. GLA
Fairly sure the "bump in the road" comment was at the very last shareholders meeting in October 2018. Or was is the dog chasing the car? I give up.
Not surprised Tsbs supporting bedecked. They're all interbred up there.
LMOA
You,re right , getting confused with time lines but we were given reassurances that there was nothing to worry about and the SP climbed for a while.
I will check my contract notes for dates, but it doesn't detract from what I think. If a discussion is requested and happens then don't expect everyone to provide nothing other than reassurance.
That’s odd bedex- the bump in the road comment was by Malcy to Mole after we were suspended.....
Bedecked - this can’t just be about ZM and SN going through the courts to prevent them having to hand their shares over to Hope. Oopsi’s confirmed that they were able to simply give Hope shares. The fact that they didn’t confirms their value and explains why they are trying to protect them.
PJOHN you wanted a discussion on this. My opinion is that this is a fu**up. I have 3.5m shares in this which is less than I held before news of Arbitration and Defaults on loan payments plus the awful revelation of the ridiculous loan repayment terms agreed to by ZM and SN as a result. So sold some only to buy back a few on "the bump in the road" comment
Now some of you think what has happened since is a Masterplan !
They can't get the majors on board until Arbitration and production licence is granted. What major would invest in a field if contract wasn't right?
Bedex: if we had money to throw at the court cases there wouldn't be court cases! We would have just paid the leech off.
None of us know what the outcome will be, but the one thing that does seem clear is that matters are coming to a head and we should have conclusive news on our investments soon.
GLA
Simple, thinking this is a master plan to produce unenviable profits for PIs is unlikely. SN and ZM are trying to cover themselves against their personal guarantees by forcing Hope into giving up. The position regarding "our" O@G fields is far from clear.
Master plans? 20 odd years in the making?
Bedex what's your point
What's being thrown at this in court cases etc is peanuts in relation to what it would be to a major getting involved if there is one.
Time will tell, but I am not expecting a Chrissy present in the near future, put it that way.
Really that's a lot court cases and a lot money being thrown at an useless field as you've seem have placed it.
Arbitration for an useless field very interesting!!
So everyone is fighting over an empty box that no one can unlock.
The problem has been, and still is unlocking, that potential.
The Russians failed and walked,
SN took the research view and confirmed the "potential resources" but was beaten by the geology.
Schlum, Block and others are trying but so far nothing world class.
By the time some one cracks this the world could well have moved on to alternative power.
Why are the majors hanging back, even the power hungry Chinese are not involving,
Better fish to fry elsewhere imo. It's a watery bog.
If it is such a world class asset why did it need devious plans to unlock the potential?
If it is as good as we are led to believe then it should have been a stroll in the park, not a fight with a sh**ty little vulture and a wonga outfit.
As far as the Georgian Government go, placing obstacles in the way of realising the "potential" could be deemed as ...............
(insert your own word)
SN and ZM played a blinder! not imo.
I planned it that way ??
Baldrick is probably busy counting the number of “plans”
I firmly believe there’s been a plan and it started long before Dec 2018. But, like all plans sometimes things don’t go to plan, so you need to revise the plan as you go along. Thinking on ones feet as they say. ?? This is how it looks to me. However it would seem that, in principal, the plan is, more or less, going to plan and we are nearing the end game-
Pay off Hope.
Secure Asset
Agreed new plan with GOC
Agree new business model involving third party buyin or TO.
Timing was always crucial and it would seem that our plan has worked in nicely with the bigger plans surrounding Georgia’s national security, economic future and energy independence.
Let’s now hope the plan works out for us all. Not long to wait!!
Now, where is Baldrick when you need him ????
PJ, never mind discussions, go to the pub and watch the footie.
Lol
PJ - impossible to know at this stage whether or not, as you put it, Zaza has ‘played a blinder.’ Even harder to know whether the shareholders have been ‘kept in the loop’ in terms of seeing the benefits of any cunning plan. The last year has looked like desperation and a forced hand rather than skilful manoeuvres. Maybe Zaza is about to pull the mother of all rabbits out of a hat and we will share in the rewards. I’d love Madpunter’s theory to be true and I’d love to think Zaza will remember all those shareholders he courted at the London meetings. For the time being, it’s still all guesswork and cloak and dagger politics - and unpaid workers and corporate silence. GLA. 2020 has to be better than 2019 even if it’s only confirmation one way or the other.
Come guys thoughts, I'm trying to get a discussion going on Sunday afternoon.
