Good post cavey, agree with your comments re our super sloofs, this bb would have died without them.
Regarding the hard earned people have supported frr with I'm not convinced the protests of latter will turn around the supertanker drifting under Eastern control. I fear it is too late now and the thugs will get away with robbing us.
The USA mantra is "America First "and I cannot see the present incumbent worrying overmuch about the other Georgia .
As Tsbs said Putin must be rubbing his hands in glee. It's all too little and too late.
jmo and hope I'm wrong but I simply don't know how this can be turned around in the present climate.
Hello People,
Some excellent research, revelations, thoughts & post over the last few weeks since our 'Sleuthers' got these broadcast/et al professionally translated & posted to these boards; so all of us investors in FRR can understand what's been/is going on.
A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO THEM.
Reading & now understanding just what is/has been going on re: corruption at all levels & departments within Georgia makes complete sense of the difficulties FRR management (& others) have had to endure.
Unfortunately I believe my considerable honest investment here will be totally lost to these criminals in powerful political positions unless there is total regime change in the neartime elections.
Even then, will a super major still want to invest in such a difficult political country? If it was/is still BP at least they have already worked with Gazprom, so must know the likely scenarios.
The 'Bear' in all this is of course, Putin who would like total control of Western European gas supplies & by this means, the more political control is would bring by closing the taps when he was of a mind to do so.
I hope I will not be too old if this ever comes good.
Good Luck,
Cavey
maybe if theres a regime change it might stir the russians in to action
as it stands now they get to control georgia with the americans and the europeans pumping millions in
putin must be laughing his socks off
Agreed ODR. Just as with Frontera's field development plan, the wells did not need to flow prolifically to be profitable. If GD and GOGC take everything back this is even more so. They will have taken no risk and spent just 16m to gain a field development plan or at least a good understanding of it from information they have seen and the announcements made so far. The wells are cheap to drill, the returns are good and they can partner with whom ever they want, or maybe just receive an injection of cash from certain rich Georgian individuals. Spending 16m is peanuts compared to gaining control of all those fields and the returns they can expect.
Part of me wonders if we have ever really had the full picture here, or at least since 2013 when Frontera realised the ruling party were not going to work with them. I always moaned about not just how poor Frontera's communication was, but more importantly how Frontera's communications seemed to suddenly changed to become so terrible. They used to communicate in great detail as to what was happening on the field, perhaps we know why there was a step change now. I don't want to get into the land of dreams, as that place has always turned into the land of nightmares where dreams of Frontera are concerned, but if there was a regime change, maybe, just maybe, the dreams could seem a little less ridiculous.
Fg: yes you're right.
But they chose a different route, of stealing it off us. So they spent a huge amount of money (16m dollars or whatever; look in their accounts to check). And they won it in the arbitration, as they knew they would, because they made it impossible for us to comply with the PSA.
Why spend that huge amount of money and effort if there was nothing there?
if we had actually got the o&g we promised the gg would be on their knees in front of us....
