Big Buys at 88p...
£££
Way oversold, but buys showing as sells...
This is nowhere near the 1.20s it was weeks ago need to get back there soon
Still cant see the resistance/bottoming
Best guess is "Brexit uncertainty' but the one thing I am certain of is that the fall is overdone. As usual the market overshoots to the downside. This is now fundamentally and technically ridiculously oversold.
BUY.
Falling by the day but why???
New US partnership will bring in extra from now and also existing business increased
So why the big drop...............
Very odd. This was a bellweather stock during the Brexit shenanigans so it has to be the update but it looked pretty good to me considering the macro environment .
**Making a Loss**
Why is is still bottoming, this was 1.25 a coupel of weeks ago?
The update was positive, ok they just missed one target, but overall rev. & profit increased and sp goes down???
There are shares that are also making and a trading update increases it sp, this one falls!/!
Why and how????
exercise in motion. Clearly there were a shedload of them sat at 88-89p.
Been nearly a week since sp has dipped, does it look like this is the bottom/resistance?
92/93p?
Are the trades in black buys? Some chunky ones
Discodave - one thing that confused me in NT's latest post was that he said he sold FFX for a £75 loss...now if memory serves, he not only bought at 119p and 138p, but also a further top up in the 140s? Anyhow, how did he manage to come away with only a £75 loss. Did he only invest about £500? I don't think so. I am skeptical about his loss reporting.
Can't see how this is not a bargain. The market for this is HUGE and FFX are making the right noises.
Even at this level the MC is 9 times last years revenue which was the 1st profitable year. The SP is still twice what it was 2 years ago and 4 times what it was 3 years ago.
I guess the recent high might have been a little over done. However if we do hit the forecast numbers for 2018 then this will go a long way to paying back previous years losses and if this current year is as good as they seem to think then we might post a maiden dividend year end and £1.50 will easily return. The US numbers are going to be a real boost you would think.
Adjusted EBITDA £7.5m was a slight miss against £8.3m forecast plus “One area of focus was the removal of a layer of the supply chain and improve margins across the corporate card division, and whilst good progress was made this was slower than the Board would have liked“, plus sterling, plus Brexit vote tomorrow (jittery market), plus possibly pi followers of Naked Trader (who sold recently) following him = sp drop.
Bought in late Friday as sell off overdone IMO, way oversold now so hopefully will bounce......depending on £, plus NT will, according to his blog on 24th Jan be buying back in “I am looking to try one more time at a lower price, but it would be my last try as there does seem a lot of value there”. Given he bought these late last year at 119 and 138 then 94 is a bargain (at least a 21% to 32% discount) even taking onboard a 10% miss on EBITDA it’s still has a helluva lot of “value” IMO.
DD
Large buy at close of play Friday (£230k worth) showing under trades.
I cannot understand why the price has dropped given growth and prospects. Clearly someone takes a lesser view than me.
Why is this continue to fall, results were positive overall, this is a major drop?
Strong set of results. Usual Brexit caveat - most of them do. Discounted 33% now from the fairly recent high. Business has grown fantastically in the last year and management expect further growth next year, in spite of Brexit.
Once the Brexit debacle is over and I am hopeful it's either going to be very soft or no exit at all, then this should fly. Seems cheap and I have added more here.
Numbers are more than good...
Full year turnover for the Group was £2.36 billion, an increase of 111%
Some people were expecting better numbers. And brokers have apparently dropped their 2019 profit targets (from 18m to around 14m or something).
yh but why the big slip???
Sod it. I'm buying more....
FairFX turnover doubles as International Payments delivers strong performance..........
SP down??????????????????????????????????
Yes fair enough, but i see no reason why sp ha fallen to 1.00, thats terrible....
here's your reason:
"One area of focus was the removal of a layer of the supply chain and improve margins across the corporate card division, and whilst good progress was made this was slower than the Board would have liked"
and
"Ongoing, and even potentially lengthened, Brexit negotiations continue to provide macro-economic headwinds for the business"
bright future possibly but that has been priced in
