Doggo
Who knows what it will take to move the share price up!
It's well overdue a run.
We wait
Can the posters worrying about the new headroom please read what the Chairman said
“readying it for future investment, including from institutional investors should NAV and market cap develop as hoped."
So new shares will be issued SHOULD the NAV and market cap develop as hoped. There will be no new share issue until the sp is much higher and so that will almost certainly be after the Leap money comes in as nothing else seems to be moving the sp no matter how good it is.
Obviously as Longlad points out Yooma buying 3 companies this month (TBA) dual listing on AQSE, SW Brands main market listing upcoming etc etc can have no positive effect on the SP.
Lucky
Yeah, was referring to the increase in headroom.
Ed had pointed to a new investment, so today's announcement was no big surprise. He needs to counter weigh Leap coming off the balance sheet. Cash has no future multiple so needed to do something.
Things do look to be making progress under Ed, won't go over the usual grey spots but they are an issue and a stumbling block for new investors as gauged by titter comments.
If leap happens it will be a sell on news event, if leap is delayed it will be a sell on news event so the share price being flat is just waiting to see what happens
Who on earth are these sellers, will they ever run out? Once the SP does rise we will continue to be inundated with those who want out and get their money back, which will hold the SP back. Until we get to 13p and the sellers run out we can see no decent steady rise in the SP.
Just looked to see what the price was and am very disappointed to see a small rise.
We have added to a few stocks that we hold in our ISAs which we think are cheap. ALAI, RR. TW. BRLA MAB, IBST, GFRD they are only showing a small up rise from the initial cost. Generally we look to make a decent profit within 18 months on this sort of stock. These have been slow but have the potential to go up once in favour. Bit like SEED which is out of favour, but once it is in favour those sellers will be swamped with buyers who see the potential of SEED. plus we added to SMT which we have added as a long term hold. We are now cash heavy which we will keep until further opportunities arise.
Remember when the blood is running in the gutters out side the stock exchange BUY , when people think the market will never stop going up and stocks are at a peak SELL. 55 years of trading has proved this to be reliable guide to buying and selling. it also relates to sectors.
Take care all, be patient and your investment in SEED will see shoots coming from your seed.
always worth a look https://www.eurox-pharma.com/en/news-en/ and the links to other companies.
Following the success with LGP in the listed space this is back in the space the original FFWD was aimed at I e pre IPO companies that PI’s couldn’t otherwise get exposure to. It’s a decent stake at nearly 9% and Alfredo will be on the Supervisory board to keep a close eye on our investment. Summarised by Ed
Ed McDermott, Chief Executive Officer of FastForward, commented: "This investment is the result of many months of work, and is fully aligned with our comprehensive investment strategy in the European wellness and medical cannabis space, that includes having both liquid and non-liquid assets in our portfolio. This is a meaningful private equity deal and it represents an important addition to FastForward's portfolio of investments in Europe's growing cannabis-sector."
FFWD management are doing some good deals at the moment and are clearly planning to hit the ground running when we relaunch as SEED.
Chicken lol. I suspect that you are talking about the doubling of shares .
Firstly they won't do a raise for the whole amount immediately so there is no need to be fearful of that and probably won't do much until after the Leap ipo?
If they do raise it may be at or a premium to the sp at the time .
In the meantime are they going to offload some more prtg.
Go for it Longlad :-)
1. Define the strategy
2. Execute the strategy
wont happen in days or weeks but the real positive for me is they are single mindedly going about the plan.
This with the other events over the coming months positions the company well - still unsure what it takes to re rate the value?!
Very different company to the drifting one from the last few years. Confidence slowly growing in the MGT team and like the fact they timed the portage sale to perfection.
Companies use what ever figures they want too, so everything looks as good as it can. This looks interesting though. Just hope all this is reflected in the NAV when it is next published.
It is a very strong buy up to 12.5p at the moment on the information available.
Unfortunately I was taken poorly again when trying to write the last post, something I do just to give me a break. Doctors keep saying rest, fine chance of that. So am selling up all our stocks that have gone up 175% plus. Some hit 350% since spring 2020 so am taking the cash. There are sectors that are undervalued and will add to our holdings in them. However the majority we hold are in ITs.
SEED is a gamble for us and we hold it "just in case it does rocket up" We will not buy any more unless it does drop below our average buy cost, which we doubt it will ever do again. Long term it will grow a lot, then you will see the big buys eventually buying in to it. We do not include it in our portfolio, like premium bonds it is a gamble rather than an investment. which reminds me that we must see how much the PBs have sent us in prize money this month. We used to look forward to their letters with a warrant in it but they now only inform you on line and pay the winnings in to your bank accounts.
open is out of the way, can comment without people thinking it’s deramping.
Looks like there is the 215 million elephant in the room that has to be addressed?
My message 11th May
I’ve heard whispers the German cannabis market has several near term opportunities if we only had someone connected who knew that market.
Someone on telegram suggested “one worry I do have is ..if Ed is heavily involved with Curaleaf will he have time to focus on FFWD, Maybe this was the reason he brought in Alfredo to do the donkey work”
The donkey has quite the CV.
#ffwd #seed investments reach new highs.
Agree. Ed stated this will likely be a major player in Europe. Big stake. Pascal on their BOD. Boom for me
Of Eurox is incredible 50 tonnes of product, Eurox Pharma is set to become the first cannabis company to produce THC-based products for the domestic German market, including the medical cannabis product Dronabinol.
Curious to know who is actually holding whilst reading that RNS
Probably a takeover target by another large company maybe? FFWD seem to be 'fortunate' in their purchases :)
Curious on what valuation model they use.....
‘ FFWD has invested €3 million to acquire 4962 [8.85%] shares in Eurox. Eurox had net assets as at 31 December 2020 of €1.8 million (based on preliminary results) and reported a preliminary loss before tax of €0.68 million on pre-revenue activities for the year to 31 December 2020.’
Correct. Just have to ignore the derampers as they know how undervalued this is but they want to get in a little bit cheaper. No doubt about that as there’s nothing to deramp about a company that is some 40% below NAV
Just listened to last weeks Proactive interview with Ed and Alfredo. LGP is a really good investment which has done well already and they believe has a long way to go in terms of value. But what is interesting at the end Ed makes it clear they are having a lot of conversations and we will be getting more deals very soon and he emphasised very soon. He also commented on the large disparity between the NAV and the current sp. It’s clearly a frustration but he said they will keep growing value and the sp will follow.
I like the way they are highlighting the positives and personally believe that ffwd is good value at the current sp. Recent sell of some portage shares was great timing and the invesment in LGP was also great timing and fortuitous . The whole portfolio seems to be doing very well so I do understand the enthusiasm and sometimes frustration .
SP back to what it was nearly a year ago and it has advanced so much more since then.
Some will say when it gets to 12.75 and buy back in when it drops back .
Chairman says 20p plus, be interesting to see if he is right , or is he trading it too ;-0
Why would anyone leave the Bb because of what barwickman or the O’Donnells write on here? You just get frustrated because barwick doesnt just post ‘boom time’ every few days and actually discusses the company.
Sold over half my holding back when we were 13.5p, mainly due to doggo and wadnobs posts, as I can see a mile away that the second it rises and they ramp it constantly they are probably selling into the rise. Or at least I hope they do or they are just terrible investors haha. But if I feel like that then how many others have felt the same way?
As people say your research isn’t the worst in the world but when you post it you say this will do x to the share price and it never does, so the next time you post research everyone ignores it as they know it will make no difference. GLA anyway.
Oh really Doggo, Mat has other investments as well as you know, few weeks back you asked him to join the Telegram group and he said no thanks to you, so once again cut out your BS, and as for saying i should be ignored I'm sure there's a few thinking the same about yourself, trouble with you is your blinkered and only see one side of a story, i see both sides and say it how it is good or bad, i never say last chance to get in 6p. 7p, 8p, i will tell you what i know later, news 4.31pm all BS, as i said before your not a bad researcher but that's as far as it goes, you and your mate are 100% rampers and if anyone disagrees with you, OH its the usual negativity from you, you really are a boring chap now you run along and filter me if you so wish.
Barwick behave yourself, you got named along with OD as one of the reasons Matador gave for leaving this BB.
I post what I find, there is a filter button if you don’t want to read it. The majority want to read what is posted, as it is generally new PF information that they haven’t read previously. That is how a BB is meant to be used -shared information. Any sentiment based posters such as The Barwick & The OD are best ignored.
We both know that you are not going to filter me...
