Limited companies and the like taking the hit in a couple of years time by the look of things, 25% corporation tax come 2023.

It’s time the uk government stopped putting lives before profit. Stop selling arms to Yemen. Boris boasting about how much we sent in aid yet he continues to sell billions worth of arms. Hypocrite!!!
*profits before lives

Mac,
Don't worry too much mate EUA won't be a UK company by then. ;-)

Tick TOCK
I thought we were selling arms to Saudi and aid to the targets?
extra £50 million corporation tax during this parliament , but didn't boris do a promise pledge no tax ,vat rises , you just cannot believe a word they say
@Montanacowboy
Is it actually the government that sell the arms ?
Exactly so stop selling the arms in the first place!!!
""Limited companies and the like taking the hit in a couple of years time by the look of things, 25% corporation tax come 2023.""
But at the end of the day it will be shareholders who take the hit on this as the distributable reserves will be hit by a 6% hike in taxation. It all sounds great to Jo-Public who think that this doesn't affect them but most don't realise that their pensions and financial instruments etc are all tied in to the big corporates.

Tombi- with Billions borrowed due to pandemic, please do tell how the hell we are going to stabilise the debt we have without increasing some taxes? Plant money trees? I’ll get you a shovel!
I do think the no rise in tax was down to income, vat, national insurance. Other taxes it’s fair game I think.
Montana is the UK the only country that has an armaments industry?
"Mac,

In fact, many Eurasia shareholders could have set up many limited companies with their huge gains from the current FSP by then, you just never know. Feet up and relaxed retirement isn't for everyone, some like to keep busy and help try to provide people with jobs etc.

we ll dont make the pledge , they were voted in on that , whatever happens they pledged it , so they have done the usual with them a u turn cannot be trusted
they should have said we will try not to raise taxes but they did not they made a pledge to not do it a big difference . they used that pledge as there main reason to to get in along with protecting our borders ; and with personnel taxes as well we will all pay more tax taking inflation into account , they pledged it , stick with it but they have not . always the same with this government useless and liars
Dont be silly TC101, the government should stick by it's promises, even if the world has undergone the biggest upheaval I've seen in my lifetime ;-)
Tombi - I’m pretty sure when those pledges were made a pandemic wasnt on the cards unless you think that all parties and when they make their pledges need to think of every single possibility. Got it, next party plan, alien invasion tax......doubt it would happen but to appease you we need a ‘just in case’ pot of money.
@tombi1
could you tell me when the last election was please and Boris must send his crystal ball back to the makers because it didnt work obvs.
I take it you would have preferred Jezza & abbott to be running the show
...and what would 'your' Government have done in these 'Covid' circumstances?
How well off would the UK be if Covid wasn't set upon us?
Wake up people.
@tombi1
Filtered for ignoring a world wide pandemic
Sorry.
Forgot to thank China.
i would prefer they don't make false promises and pledges which history tells you anything can happen , if i made a pledge to my staff that they would get a pay rise every year for 5 years would they accept it if after a year i did not do that because my profits have halved , or would they prefer me to say i hope to give pay rises every year and meet all there expectations but this gov just jump in , that's why they are known as the u turn government who knows how many u turns they have done in this regime
love it filtered , that is the cons way , hide in the sand if questioned , pathetic plonk
