I know you think you own the board ..... but you don’t . Telling folk to change headings ffs!!
Lol
Hi Mac, no, I know it was not your heading, and that you were only responding to it, but it just stuck out like a sore thumb as a very negative warning to any prospective investor thinking about investing to see a heading warning them off, done without tact by MoneyMaker and in the direct opposition to his moniker :-)
his moniker doesn't make any sense with that thinking.
Big buyer , buying at the moment
Bit of a shake, hopefully it will stimulate a push higher
So moneymaker you would be happy if an offer came in for less than the current share price?. That makes absolutely no sense.
lol no rag I haven’t sold any. I’ll be holding on until we get an offer in. My personal view is that we’ll probably go for around 50p, but alternatively unlike manyI would also be content if they said only one firm offer came in and it was for 15p.
As I said, it’s not a de-ramp as I’ve been here for years and plan on staying longer, but keep in mind the BoD will be selling MT no matter what. They have large holdings and have been here for years. I was purely just mentioning the higher this goes, the more risk there is that you may not get a positive return if you’re buying-in now.
Morning IAN, not my heading, you could suggest that to this threads poster however.
GLA
Caution is good but your post does come across as a de-ramp long term holder or not.
This company is still being discounted as it is been seen as junior rather than a producer.
And as you mention there is news on flanks shortly.
Furthermore, an offer will only be accepted by shareholders if it is a "premium" to the current levels.
You have broker forecasts of 60p before many of the latest factors were built in....so it is highly unlikely any offer would be at 20p. They expect the resource estimates to only improve.
A valuation on the company that has no debt and has so much resource in the ground with the backing of the Russian government cannot be sold at a market cap of 500M......
The board own around 25% of this company. There is no way this is going cheaply. It is not happening.
While £1.50 to £2 may seem ludicrous at this point. 45-65p is certainly not. When you see the company is now making profits, will no longer be discounted once it is a producer rather than a junior. And we get flanks approvals.
Furthermore, as those resource estimates go up or any "major findings" during this bidding process the value will only go up.
The reason why I put a rebuttal is I saw this with GKP. I bought in at 14p and sold out way too low based on a takeover rumour.
No takeover rumour....takeover talks from many expressed parties is actually happening. While GKP said no takeover it went on to make major findings. That price went from 14p to £5 is less than a year. So when you are talking about mining companies...there are always many possibilities.
Gl all
Also I personally see the higher the sp before the sale the better
Lol
Ian, he was stating it was mad to sell at 15.5 and now he’s saying be careful... lol!!!
I wonder what’s changed... maybe he’s sold up...
Wonderful
Moneymaker - I am relaxed about topping up here
An M&A deal will be done with a premium (=RockRose Energy is a great recent example). A bidder will be accumulating shs in open mkt before making a bid - my guess is that they'll try to get to 30% threshold mandated by UK TAkeover Code when making a bit becomes mandatory.
this flow to 30% will keep pushing the price up (+flanks will be a catalyst) so I think we will blow through 30p in no time
Besides - no one is selling except a profit taker here or there, but not in size. Then after 30p, we ll start seeing possibly either more catalysts or a bid released taking us to the 70p+ zone
With Bod heavily invested, the strength of the assets, the demand for commodities in the Green market and prices set to rise. The BoD will be throwing away their investment at 20p. Imo min £1 otherwise BoD have wasted their time.
Ignore, this is flying any one can see that
Morning Mac, may I suggest you change the heading it runs against your positive posting :-)
Bod accept a 20p bid lol
Put the crack pipe down
Well well well
One of lse most famous residents Sam12345 has turned up lol... Very well known across the boards
Stillwater for c. US$2bn by Sibanye in 2017
NAP for approximately CAD$1bn by Impala Platinum in 2019
https://www.miningmx.com/news/platinum/38824-how-does-implats-lac-des-iles-stack-up-against-sibanyes-2017-stillwater-deal/
The BOD have also stated to bench mark against other deals that have been done in the sector, that is a relatively straight forward process in all honesty. Even for 1.9Moz, if you do the figures, you may well just change your mind moneymaker.

With all the research and reports that have been shared, 60p per share rock bottom with flanks, anything above that is a bonus.
Yes but that is the weird thing.
A stream of buys are coming in at around 20p but these are all being reported as sells. Figures are really distorted as the current buy price is higher than the actual buys going through so the buys are being reported as sells
Do these ever get retrospectively corrected?
Seems to be a bit of resistance at 20p that’s understandable with large long term holders taking profits, once they have been churned through were free for the next leg up
We do have a mine at West Kytlim, which is rapidly expanding.
At MT, the palladium dominant resource we have a EPC contract with Sinosttel to take it to production, a production capacity is written into that EPC contract.
All in RNS and all easily read by any potential new investor.

Others have mentioned long term value which others have mistaken as current value. The 9 pound figure. Means plenty in it for buyer who may see it as strategic buy too in their country.
Wise to be cautious, at the start of the year I was thinking that I would be happy at if it sold for 22p but now we are here I can't see if going for less than 40p
