Correct Bellers, i have lots in my filter but not seen any G boxes for hours. Happy days.
Is it just me tonight or are we very light on green coffins?
Thanks both. Doing it now.
Fizzydrink, I used the app and just told them how I wanted to vote. They confirmed the vote next day
Novice, did you use the hl app? I only have option to send a message. Not option to select vote. What am I supposed to wrote in the message? Any advise much appreciated
A question and sorry if it has been asked before. If you do not vote are your rights automatically given to the chairman to vote as he wishes ie positive by default.
Cheers
Thanks! ill do my best to vote tomorrow.
Done the votes via secure message with H/L, just under 200k shares.
Wont let me vote on the junior isas though :o(
Will phone them tomorrow but assuming because under 18 they probably cant vote in a corporate action.

Just put a vote in via HL secure messaging for my partner who is holding 60k shares in her ISA. Every one counts :)
Home straight.
GLA.
I called them (Halifax) as they operate Lloyds share dealing. Under 5 mins start to finish.
Yes via halifax live chat
Has anyone been able to vote through Halifax?
So freetrade offer no option to vote not an any price. They’re just not set up for anything more complicated than buying and selling. Frustrating. Can’t s**g them off totally mind as they do make buying shares accessible to all and this meant I could gradually build my pile of EUA shares since before suspension to where I am now.
I guess that’s the price you pay for not paying right? I’ve only a fairly small holding compared to most here of 55,000 but dare not risk any of those to try and move it to a decent provider now. Especially since it’s all in an isa. Just my luck the week or so it would take to transfer the isa the big news would land. Lessons learned. A vote not used is a vote wasted. Meh
You’re on share active and Jools is on XO , well they appear to be not so good platforms. Won’t be getting my business but if they work for you both, good luck with that.
I’ve never heard of them to be honest so couldnt comment. Good luck with your investment.
TC,
From my understanding, X-O, Jarvis, and sharedeal active, are one of the same.
1 share = 1 voting right
are the votes weighted by the size of your holding or would it be simply just 1 equal vote for everyone?
Well one that charges £20 per account to vote on EGM/AGM resolutions is a pretty significant shortcoming. Well I’m sure someone may offer more insight like Jools who is having issue with their platform.
TC,
To be fair, i've never tried to vote before. My holdings are all long term and my balances are not insignificant. I may look at changing broker, although all seem to have their shortcomings.
Because X0 are cheap to trade, and im tight! lol
Thats nice of them, have them over 4 accounts, so hopefully my vote wont be needed! lol
Layla - sorry and in all honesty if your platform charges you to vote on a corporate action £20 a time when one happens, that’s sounds so dodgy. You’re not we to trading from your previous post so has this all of a sudden happen now ie the charging?
If you paid money for them then they're your shares. Therefore they are voting rights.
There will be a way for you to vote , each platform seems to have their own methods; some easier than others
Dude can I ask why you chose that platform to trade? Just out of curiosity with X-O has anyone managed to vote yes on the resolution or is it just no people on your platform are having issues with?
My spider sense is tingling and I smell something!
