Hi brezhnef,....yes, my main focus is on Serenity & wressle oil field, at present,.....Inishkea prospect, will hopefully come good, when some common sense, is found, by those in control.

So if I get this right they are so angry about the mess that they are conducting a review about whose to blame rather than a review into what to do about the energy shortage? Jaw dropping.
IMO this has everything to do with the, not so secret, agenda of the globalist fundamentalists running the West's civil service, judiciary, and governments. All these people appear to be fixated with joining-up the world with trans-national electricity interconnectors distributing "green" energy. Well the green energy doesn't exist in sufficient quantities and many will now freeze to death and national industries will collapse. Few greater crimes have been committed against western humanity. But then, that's just my take on things.

The Irish Cabinet and backbenchers are mad about the current energy crisis they find themselves in
… it appeared that the Department of Energy, CRU and Eirgrid were “all asleep at the wheel”.
For the first time in decades, consumers may be left without power to heat and light their homes, and to power industry.
I am calling for accountability. Enough is enough.
I want to see those responsible for the current crisis held accountable for their actions or inactions …

Just having a look at what Ryan has been saying recently and saw this in the Irish Journal
“There was a 17.6% increase in emissions from the energy industries sector, attributable to a tripling of coal and oil use in electricity generation last year.”
Well at least they stopped evil gas being sourced locally to take its place!
He held the post before in 2009-11, then quit the Government, who promptly signed off on the original Corrib project before the election. Let’s hope for a rerun - it’s the simplest way for him to avoid taking responsibility when things get difficult.
Simple really, Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael to keep the status quo going, had no option than to bring in the Green Party as part of that coalition to prop themselves up. The Greens have them by the gonads, they even got their most prestigious ministrial role ie Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications.
The Greens have the rest of the Irish Government where they want them, and their energy concerns can do one...as it dosen't meet the Green agenda....even when a mix of energy use is possible.
Hello wraith. Your link backs up my thoughts that a lot of inward investment will now come under review with the current Irish energy strategy. How long thet can self inflict this harm on their economy is anyones guess. In the meantime my focus is now on Serenity. Lets hope we get a good result and Europa powers on.

t1, i am genuinely interested in i3 again and intend to invest heavily in it, but worried about recession affecting bigger oilers and i3es decommissioning costs per well in canada.
could be valued at mcap £100 mill or even less
imo, no bs
Just in case anyone thought boltock had anything sensible to say - he's just gone onto the i3e and bashed i3e - posting non-sense.
I have not done that here - I have a small holding (200,000 shares) and was merely trying to understand the investment story aside from Serenity. I've read the last Company report, Tennyson Report and listened to the CEO here along with the last couple of presentations - so I probably done a bit more research than Boltock !
Anyway good luck to shareholders here and i will try to keep it a bit more civil.
boltock,
you were quoting me on this board in June as some sort of authority on i3e and now are abusive presumably because I don't ramp eog like you. I've had a look at your posting history - looks like your new to Oil and Gas and by the quality of your posts do no research or have any notable expertise - you just parrot a few sound bites.
On what basis do you think i3e will go to 8p - I'm interested to hear your thoughts or are you just walking on your hands and talking through the other end.
If Serenity comes in - which will obviously be very good for both Companies - i3e's dividend could be 8p in a couple of years you muppit - try posting a bit of original research / insight instead of just 8p by next month rah rah rah !
the idiot still at it, i went to sleep and just wake up now OMG
get a life u mad git Lol
i3e will come to 8p soon, you heard 1st here.
Billsuffolk,
Not sure you’ve figured anything out and why are you peeing on your chips - it makes no sense?
What you should be trying to figure out as a potential investor is why Wressle is going to be huge - ask Boltok. Does he really believe this or is he trying to drawing in gullible investors like you.
Serenity I understand and as I said at the start of the thread is the main reason I invested here as it has 5x the torque as compared to I3E - so not sure why you started peeing on your chips though?
The Irish gas assets I need to learn a bit more about but no one here apart from GeoChem seems to understand much about them - certainly not their value.
poor little tony got angry. sounds as though he actually owns i3e lmfao.
you are just a little sharehllder of that company whose directors dont give a rats ass what u think. I know how u were crying when i3e was merely valued at £30 million after the canadian aquisition. Then crying out at 12p due to a fundraise.
Whether i3 directors may be interested in inishkea, they will certainly not ask your approval. You can just put ur complaints in this bb.
The guidance on Wressle, alone, it is enough, to keep myself invested, in EOG, boltok,...... Serenity, I'm looking forward, to seeing, how EOG stake, plays out there,.....FEL 4/19 (Inishkea) alone, is also enough, to keep myself invested, in EOG,.....plus we have Morocco etc,....I've more than doubled, our EOG shareholdings, over the last few weeks,......did someone suggest, we could become millionaires, will soon need to be, the way gas price is rising. ;0)

Veryhappybunny,
You are free to say what ever you want and I think you have already said enough to indicate that you are not as clued up as you think you are.
I overstated Wressels production - as per last presentation it is 300 bopd - not bad and pays the bills.
However, as a reference i3e has about 20,000 boepd and a forecast FCF of over $100m - that said, it still sought partners to develop Serenity so that on an all weather basis, it had a robust business plan and not over extend itself on any one project.
You think that with production of 300 bopd (ok double it 600) that eog could self fund Serenity or development of its Irish Sea Gas assests - nuts - absolutely f-c-ing nuts. And remember - this is with oil at around $90 per bbl. Have a look what things look like at $80 or $70 per bbl. EOG has no scale - in a down turn - the situation would look decidedly shaky.
You may say one dimensional - I say head in the clouds - you've not looked at the numbers.
Boltok,
Not worth debating with anyone that cannot back up the ramping - totally agree - were on the same page !
Boltok,
Not meaning to be provocative - but Wressle is worth about 400 bopd - not a lot in the grand scheme of things. "Wressle alone will be huge" - what will it be and do you have a reference.
Its a nice little cash cow but from what i have seen - its looking at incremental production growth - what have I missed ?
selfish, not worth debating with sum1 whose IQ is within 2nd percentile. it will lead to at least 100 more posts and waste of ur time and posts other readers will want to ignore.
wressle alone will be huge.
Whatever. Do a bit of research on Corrib, Tony. You need it. While you spend your evening doing that much needed research, I'm off up the pub. Good Evening.
SelfishMcNimby,
I think most rational people would conclude that if you could buy something that has a 50/50 chance of being worth £2.5bn then logically it would be worth much more than £25m. You dont have to e a genius to figure that out.
Conclusion - you have no idea what you are talking about !
Tony, you seem to have a naive concept of what 'the market' means from reading your earlier posts. The market does not include gamblers. It doesn't even include people who use a probability formula. The market uses proven facts. Currently there is a 50/50 chance that Inishkea will be worth £5bn. That doesn't mean the market values Europa at £2.5bn. It values Europa at £0bn because it hasn't been proven. You seem to think that the market must therefore be correct. It doesn't. It means that free-thinkers can see beyond proven facts, and use a probability theory.
Now, I'm sorry you thought I was lecturing you. But hopefully now you will feel that you have learnt something.
