The important aspects of the announcement yesterday are the commercial availability of the bonding technology and the disclosure of UEP-60.
Now Ethernity can openly discuss and field enquiries. The flow processor part is a product that has been on the site for a long time. The important part of the processor is the L3 capability.
I believe that the way the patent chunks up the data and reassembles it is used in both. The radio side of it is completely different as Ethernity don't make them. The purpose is very different but I believe the method is similar.
The separation, bonding and reassembly the various ports offering different performance. A different flow processor because this is optimised for backhaul but under it all a similar method.
I believe that both are within the patent.
Interesting that this can also be used for satellite as well as wireless. It is the flow processor that Ethernity does not the mode of transmission so this product is for an OEM to build a solution or an integrator to marry components. I believe that they will pick up some big players both wireless and satellite. This product connects the DU to the CU. So this may be from a DU in the field to the Central Office. In fact the locations could be absolutely anywhere. This could be redundant capacity, as well as fibre or instead. Depending on the criticality of the system and the technical requirements.
I didn’t mention it at the time because surprise surprise it slightly confused me but during the Tarana interview the boss was asked about performance of their equipment in inclement weather and he replied that due to the wavelength used it still worked perfectly . So ENETs patent was for this solution and not their addition to the Tarana set up ? I’m not going to pretend to understand any of the jargon but I do realise it is yet another game changer ! Atb
This is going to be huge for Ethernity.

I think we had a wee bit of offloading today. Gotta keep below that 5 percent . Maybe imho dyor
It is something traders say is a sign but is actually nothing of the sort. Something about settling accounts I think
It’s the code 1 Marcal. Secret sign from buyer to mm that something big is about to happen. So they sayyyyy.....
Hope so. Trading today was largely below the mid price. The full price blues were unfortunate for those concerned. Bed and ISA for £20k.
52.1/52.85 mainly buys today but many showing red.
Market cap £28m, it’s a joke, isn’t it?
Company is stuffed full of relevant revenue earning tech, in some cases unique and patent protected , massive global growing markets to go for.
We should have a m.cap in three figures just for starters. Look at how much better the situation is now v floatation almost 4 years ago, think m.cap was around £45m then or so. We know the reasons why we are at this level, but the market simply has not caught up to where ENET are now, imo. Good news is the process has at least started and looks set to accelerate going forwards.
imo

It will be in response to enquiries for a solution. Between now and release they will be pushing it hard. This will be at OEM and integrator level.
Do you think it was made to order or more something enet foresaw as the next step ?
Thanks TL, I can understand that!
Sounds excellent then.
Seems to me this is potentially yet another home run.
It's a totally new product and solves several problems that Telecom will face when deploying on every level.
It will sell well, this exact product is unique and extremely versatile.
It is for a now market and I suspect that there will be huge interest and noise.
I’ve read the announcement a few times and hold my hands up, in struggling a bit.
Could do with a plain English version! Although the likes of TL and Bid have helped, thank you.
Is this a new product for ENET or an older product that’s been ‘tweaked’ and the advantages of the new patent added?
Is this ‘core’ for ENET and/or another example of the wealth of tech that resides within the company.
What and who are the markets for the tech? Is it a few hundred $k here and there or another serious string to our bow?
Think ENET need to get some of the above over clearer, imo, otherwise non tech investors like myself might struggle to give today’s release the right level of attention.
I don’t know if it’s ok, good, brilliant and knocks the socks of the competition or a nice little tweak to what will be a minor product range. Is it a market of $1m a year or could be $100m?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA
GLA
Picked up another 15,000 @ 53.6p.
Great posts all and some very interesting links.
I hadn’t watched the December interview of Brian by VSA Capital, thanks TL.
Thumbs up emoji.
Yes it's fairly well offered according to the broker I just spoke to.. new kit announcements don't tend to generate much excitement but when they get sold and integrated into other platforms they do!
The 52.95 trades are buys. 52.1 to sell. Lots of buys in red today.
Looks like the MMs have some stock to churn. Certainly not from the market.
In case anyone is confused by the Tarana product and the UEP-60. Ethernity don't make wireless products, these are flow processors that an OEM can use to integrate with their products.
Ethernity are handling the data in a way that allows efficient and reliable use on a wireless medium.
In the Tarana G1 Tarana used the Ethernity flow processor as part of their solution for last mile connection of broadband. That's nothing to do with wireless backhaul but the flow processor part is a similar function.
Think I’ve just shared it on Reddit but can’t be sure lol
Marcel the blue and red means almost nothing
Bid yes exactly. It is nothing to do with the Tarana solution. The wireless backhaul does use the same principle to achieve reliability.
It showed as a sell because it was below the mid.
