I have other investments occupying me right now but I'm still fully invested here, and it is creating a brilliant opportunity. I say that from a personal perspective because it's trading at levels now, lower than I've ever witnessed
And like all other stocks, it'll only take the right news. But you need to put yourself in that position to generate the news. Creswick has always had the ability to do that and a vast land package in the victorian Goldfields with proven grades will attract some interest "further interest" from majors.
LuckyOrange - They will hit it. I agree with this. Between the scout drilling and follow up drilling to come on the hotter zones, i think ECR will strike further high grade pockets. Also, pleasantly surprised with the recent grades from HR3 and further drilling targeting the anticline could throw up some very nice results
Ag that has got me seriously thinkingā¦..
And topping up lol
'brewing' AG ? That was subtle (checks name of Lane where Creswick property is ;-) )
" the DMS is a major contributing source to the Berry Lead system (estimated to have produced 2.6 million ounces of gold)"
They will hit it , I wondered why the soil sampling hadn't been completed on Creswick , but of course they knew about the licence being granted (they were in sampling Brewing Lane before making an offer) .
Chances of hitting in Creswick get bigger as every week goes by , gold was prolific in the DMS , Rod spent a long long time studying it and recommended it and jv'ers will be keeping a wary eye on ecr.
Was very surprised to hear little to no information about the Creswick drilling. With the previous results, i think it would be extremely unlikely for the company to hit 8 dusters with the remaining holes. But with a lack of reporting, and the licenses granted to EL006907, there could be something bigger brewing here. An 8 hole Creswick RNS with future work planned out across a number of their Creswick licenses, extending the current strike length
A little bit of positive news on drilling, licences (or something else!) would really help propel the SP higher from a very low base...
Time for a bounce!
They are drilling Sanka, two focussing on Bailieston in the hot spot and the new one will be drilling on Creswick close to the DMS at their Creswick property , if you look on map 1 you will get an indication of where and why.
Aint nobdy need any reminders of why s*** matters mate. Just get that drill piece in the ground and see what golds down there.
Stop waffling on
Further Information ā Dimocks Main Shale Gold Targets
In the view of the Companyās technical team contemporary exploration has continually been drawn to the district due the proximity of the Ballarat and Creswick goldfields and in particular exploration programs within EL6184 have sought the source alluvial gold that was in the Berry Lead system.
It is also the view of the technical team that despite numerous companies having held tenements over the area those companies failed to recognise the significance of the Dimocks Mains Shale and its potential for significant gold mineralisation.
ECR Mineralsā Geologist Rodney Boucher recognised the potential of the Dimocks Main Shale and has been mapping in the region for 15 years for several companies. When a differing company relinquished the ground to the north of North Ballaratās tenements, Rodney Boucher applied for EL6184 and provided it to ECR Minerals. Subsequently ECR Minerals have applied for EL6713 over recently relinquished ground.
The Dimocks Main Shale provides an opportunity not previously recognised in Victoria. The DMS is 25m wide and hosts strata-bound auriferous quartz veins with potential for bulk mining (refer to Map 1).
The shale has been mapped and shown to run for over 7 km in ELās 6184 and 6713 (refer to Map 1). The DMS continues 8 km to the south to form one third of the Ballarat goldfield at the locality of Nerrina or Little Bendigo.
Field mapping of alluvial workings (refer to Map 2) shows the potential link between the alluvial workings and their gold sources, in particular the DMS and suggests that the DMS is a major contributing source to the Berry Lead system (estimated to have produced 2.6 million ounces of gold) and a contributor to the Eureka Lead in the upper parts of the Ballarat goldfield (estimated to have produced 11 million ounces of alluvial gold plus an additional 2 million ounces of reef gold). https://www.ecrminerals.com/images/Creswick_Map2.jpg https://www.ecrminerals.com/images/Creswick_Map1.jpg
