Your knowledge about me is min.
Average is 1.9p so plenty underwater.
Based on your approach I guess all our knowledge on ECR is min, otherwise we wouldn't have invested to make a loss...
I'm sorry that you are angry with your gamble
RE Tang & Davenport, - I can understand the questions surrounding them, however, I'm in slight agreement with PAUL1DEANO on this one... nobody was moaning when the share was at 4p.
They were part of the Craig Brown 'carrot dangle' 'joint venture', 'phones off the hook' era, which would be the root of my concerns (although Davenport came in much towards the end).
People struggle with the concept of paying people for what they know, who they know, client contact list, relations, and experience... they want to see their pound of flesh.
For all you know, the main contact lead for the appointment of our wonderful new CEO could have come from any of these non-executive directors, and they would have played the role of vetting for the best candidate.
They may also be the lead to potential buyers of assets we are trying to offload etc...
I do agree that the larger portion of salary should be share/options based, in which their value is based on reflection of how well the company is performing. This is in addition to a smaller portion of direct salary/consultancy fees (for members not directly involved in daily action of the ground for ECR).
For now, I believe the board looks fairly balanced in terms of experience and covering all the bases... lets see how they help/facilitate the evolving ECR going forward under AH's leadership and then ask questions.
TalkingSense... "Since Ah has taken over ECR has been more straight talking..."
Well I count at least 100 "errrrm's" .... "aaaahh's" and "eeeehh's" in each video released....
Maybe that is straight talking... maybe they are talking sense... but I've heard enough talking.
People sit on there forums every day expecting a day by day RNS on progress.... "ECR, can you send us the exact co-ordinates of the rig"?
I believe there are a lot of people here who regret investing, been fed enough waffle over the years, and are looking for an exit point to be rid of the shackles of deceit... because they can't bare to realise a paper loss!
(Maybe they realised all along it was a gamble)!!
Should have DYOR!
Personally, I like the refreshed direction AH is steering the ship in.
I don't care if blue moon doesn't hit or if other ventures are not fruitful because I get the feeling AH will cut losses and focus on the next target without ploughing more money into a project on a hope and a whim.
Holding Long!

@C1p2D - My take is that the last 2 holes at blue moon will determine whether they persue this campaign further, or deem it not viable.
So I guess while they wait for lab results to come back for those two holes they will persue other campaign targets untill they can asses the next best plots to drill on blue moon (if any)!.... which will mean next season...
Agree - although the company communication has been sub-par, the interviewers of recent have been equally as poor... Alan Green doesn't even let them get an answer to a question out in full before interrupting them with something else.
Fingers crossed things get clearer with Andrew Scott on board.
Absolute dead-beat company with poor management. No diversity into other avenues, just look to pour more of our money into advertisement when revenue starts to slow. Absolute chancers... run by millenials... time to sell
"Next has a much larger total addressable market and a more premium product."
Premium products like Dorothy Perkins and Burton?? Clothing lines which Next currently sell, however, owned by Boohoo ...
