Not exactly top of the leader board on volume !
Would have thought there might have been some pent up demand / sales
Finally the wait is over. Looking forward to seeing what tomorrow brings.
Might celebrate with a UK dominos pizza.
Good luck all holders.
The announcements from Friday were quite detailed. Their strategy for the future sounds sensible and they've certainly got a much improved, enlarged unit base for the intended expansion. They also said they intended to finance that expansion through organic cash flow generation. Let's hope!
Yes ,at least they didn't got for a ridiculously low discounted price for the book build..just hope they remove the suspension and see where it goes.
Its all good
The company dominium are profitable. There is a clear path forward.
The fact that there was strong demand for the shares should ensure a base of 8p for the shares when they relist
Hard to understand the impact to a general shareholder who is not part of the book build, as a rule I do not like selective shareholder rights which favours directors and their city mates.
The most British of general meeting s being held in a small village hall, will they do a raffle as well?
Will read a few more times, but any legal / company secretarial types on the board to provide a nice summary would be welcome.
Takeover news now published
Yep Halifax sorted price for DPP but not CZN , strange, don`t suppose it means anything but possibly sorted it ready for trading again soon ?
I'm still zero on aj bell.
Anyone written to investor relations or got an email address ?
Halifax sorted, now I'm thinking news coming soon. Just a gut feeling, but I hope you get your Christmas wish a drunken Marcus!
CP64, my Halifax account is showing the same, if only we could sell that that price :-) - these talks are dragging on too long now even after the CEO left a month ago - and yes would be nice to have some news before Christmas.
Hi ijr1, thanks for asking , unfortunately Halifax haven`t sorted it out, my account is still showing £7.25 sp ..... one of my best investments ..... LOL
'I don't want a lot for Christmas, I don't even wish for snow...All I want for Christmas is news!'
RBS completed the takeover of ABN Amro in less time! A disaster it turned out to be, but I imagine that was somewhat more complex than the discussions here.
Just thought of self interest of the board - who does what role and compensation for loss of office
I just don't get it.
They must have been talking for 2 months prior, so 6 months in total.
To be frank - what the f*** are they talking about ?
Well done to three3 who instantly predicted 3-9 months. Does anybody know if there is a time limit on this? Has your glitch on these shares been resolved yet chilipepper64? Hope DPP are relisted again soon and good luck all holders!
Interesting comments.
The significant shareholders are:
Pageant Holdings Ltd:17.17%;
Canaccord Genuity Group Inc:12.44%;
FMR LLC:9.51%;
JM Finn & Co Ltd:6.01%;
Christopher Moore:4.94%.
I do wonder what Pageant Holdings' average share price paid is! Chris Moore's holding is needed to take these top shareholders to over 50%, however he's 'only' got under 5% so surely Pageant's views are more significant. On the other hand, they presumably need to get guarantees of over 50% of shareholders to agree for it to go ahead.
Now four months from suspension with no news. An update to the owners of the company would be welcome.
Retired.
Do you think this is a full buyout, or a re list with existing shareholders as a minority, or effectively taken private?
Whatever I cannot understand wh y they are taking so much time, surely they had an outline of a deal price before the announcement.
If my research is correct the Top 4 institutional shareholders plus Chris Moore have 50% of the share capital, so I suspect they are all involved in the negotiations ... and when they have agreed a price / ability for them to retain an interest in the new company going, we will be told what we're getting. I wouldn't be so sure that Chris Moore will push for the best price, he acquired 2/3rds of his shares in the scandalous equity issuance in Dec '18 at 6p. What 2020 has shown (and I suspect this will continue well into 2021) is that entities with cash to spare can make highly speculative 'lowball' offers for good businesses and the short term cashflow concerns of those businesses force them to accept selling out at prices that pre 2020 would have seemed ridiculous. I have MCS and AA in my portfolio and am being offered 115p & 35p respectively for 'board recommended' offers when atleast 50% uplift would seem merely fair value. Sadly I can't see us being offered anything outside 10-15p range even though 20p + would be fair ... hope I'm proved wrong !
Agree these talks are taking a while, they must have some idea of the offer due to the departure of the CEO and have someone else lined up for the role!!
Does anybody know what's happening. News is way overdue now. We go into December next week. Come on DPP, give us an RNS Monday!!!!!
This is a consequence of the suspension, I fear shareholders are going to be underwhelmed by the admission document.
One broker is showing it as 0p! Another broker is showing 7.25p. The spread was actually with a 'buy price' of 9p when they were suspended.
