The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
The stock markets reaction would indicate that there is not a snow balls chance in hell of a takeover
Why is Clem paying a dividend. I suspect it to try and thwart the inevitable
I sincerely hope so. My average price paid about 12/14 years ago is £1.50!!
Yes Clem has run this for 20 years without any regard for shareholders. Its time for someone else
Bennster
I assure you I don't hate this share.
I just think that there is absolutely no and I repeat no logic to its current valuation.
I see no point in people getting burnt in a situation such as this.
Where am I wrong? Would you like to spell out exactly what income Online has?
If you do any homework you will see it has none.
It survives on paltry equity raises.
I repeat Spell out what you are investing in?
Be careful. Or take comfort from the fact the you will probably be able to sell these at 20p. I repeat they have no income and virtually no assets save their stake in ADVDN.
look at their attempts at crypto ie the plus one coin on advfn. That has generated zero income. I don't mind what they incubate Citygirl so long as it makes money and they are incapable of doing that.
I think its on its inexorable descent to 20p. Before you invest have a serious look. Its only real asset is its stake in advfn and that has never paid a dividend in over 20 years on the market.
Everything else is entirely nascent. Again have a look at its income. It hasn't really got any. Prospects ? Questionable at best
The stake in ADVFN is worth at todays price about £1.5m . There is nothing else that currently produces any worthwhile income here so be very careful.
Look at the results of today.
This is valued at 100X turnover. The only thing of value it has is its share in advfn.
It has no commercialised product.
You will be able to buy it in the 20p region when reality strikes as it always does
Jubilant foods the Indian dominos franchisee with about 1300 restaurants has bought 32%.
Well worth going on to their website. Stellar price performance from their share.
When the dust settles people will point to companies such as this. 100k turnover and loss making valued at £17 million.
There is one born every minute.
Anyone any views on this. I bought some the other day based on that other website!
It looks as if could move
Had a look
Presumably the Oscar Chambers is Clem son?
Hawfinch
Did you ever look?
Standonkin
Correct me.
Exactly what income has this company got?
The point I am making is that there is no business here as yet.
Yes you can speculate that there may be but without turnover and profit there is nothing.
The management are the same people who have run ADVFN since the dotcom days.
How soon before we are back at 15p?
This company has Zilch income. It market cap has dropped from a peak of £10m to its current £5m which is still double the price at which the company raised £400k nearly 8 weeks ago.
I will buy back at 15p
Over 10% of this company has been traded on several days and yet there are no holdings notifications.
It is amazing that a company with no tangible assets and no (or virtually no) turnover can command such a ridiculous valuation.
It has happened before and hopefully as I fully intend buying back in for the fun in the 15/20p region it will happen again
I fully accept I could be wrong
I once bought 1m Asos at 6p and sold them at 9p and they are worth about 45Million today.
However mining is getting more difficult. They only got 96 coins in december.
Maybe Ill eat my words after the next set of results but I doubt it.
