Timeline not as important as content of data.May have leaked, may not. May still be confidential. Olive and shorters don’t expect good news soon I assume.
I am not obsessed with rushed data. Just well analysed and positive data. What more is actually needed?!
Hi All, not posted for sometime!
Yes we need news, good news to get thing moving.
Phil Gekko.....quite right.good data or a Blautix deveopment will put a rocket under this share.
I feel ive been in this one for an eternity!
Maybe their waiting for Steve to be done so they can release news and not have him sell into it.
There has been a heck of a lot of fund presentations
With any luck, the data is great and the funds buy in on the back of it or better still Merck increase their holding. In which case SO selling the entire fcking lot won't matter.
All the shorts would need buying back on top and that's about 2.24pc ??
I'm not totally sure but i think there are some restrictions on the 4D SO acquired of the woodford deal. not sure he can sell all of them so you might find what extra he could sell now wouldn't cover the shares the shorters need to buy back
What we need now is that data news to create the buying interest to really move this up a gear..
I'm still happy adding at this level. GLA
It goes without saying that the sp will move upwards as long as the combined value and volume of Buys exceeds those on the other side. I am confident that will eventually become an inevitability, however the question is which piece of Data, as you put it, or combination of data will be required to stimulate that Buyside momentum and, secondly, when will we see it? All rhetorical questions of course.
Good night all and good luck.
Crusty - if news is good then anyone who wants to sell is welcome to do so, as they alwasy are. But there will be buyers, especially if there is news that might lead to commercialistion relatively soon (i.e. Blautix partership/.licensing etc.) We need just a bit of buzz on Nasdaq, coupled with good data, to really move this stock up.
robins - anyone who wants to sell can - data is king. If data is good we should start seeing serious money changing hands from PIs to IIs (and from distressed sellers to more long-term nvestors - maybe even a big pharma buying in /increasing their position - one can hope).
Data is king - so as long we get good data (and a positive business update re Blautix) we can leave everything else to market forces.
Just my opinion - a holder who hopes data/business updates will not let us down. GLA
Phil my worry is we know this Oli chap has lost loads of money but we do not know for sure why he is selling here and how many he is going to sell. Just hope it doesn't overshadow any good news we should get.
That is certainly one potential scenario but also PhilG there is the possibility that even with good news Oliveira decides to sell into any post RNS rise and, consequently, that rise is nipped in the bud or fizzles out very quickly. I would hope though that the combined effect of the shorters closing their positions and both II's and PI's buying in on the "proof of concept" news releases any Oliveira sales would be more than offset. That said, a potential sale of 12m shares needs a lot of offsetting particularly if "short termers" and "traders" are also adding to the sales by taking short term profits.
Well he can shut the door on his way out.
I am now more comfortable there are no ulterior motives behind the selling over the last week or so - once the seller finally stops (and hopefully we receive some good news) we should move up.
Just my opinion, do your own DD please.
