PS, LSE Marked it down as an unknown trade, not for the first time !!
I don't have an opinion on whether to buy or sell. I picked up some 20,000 cheap shares @11.11am for my share ISA this morning to add to my 6 figure holding. This isn't a short term punt, minimum 5years for me. Let the lemmings go over the cliff !!
Hello CUSN holders. I picked up a starter holding in this company this morning. Long term holding (not trade) for me and not as "exciting" as many of the metal plays but I think has a decent chance over the medium to longer term. Good luck all.
Evening all, thought I called the bottom, obviously wrong! Must be honest I'm disappointed. 3 pence down already.

The difference it will make will be very significant, but as you say, not in the normal way for a producing company.
CUSN's future relies on being able to produce a positive economic assessment and then an attractive Feasibility study, for the investors who will fund the building of the processing plant. The 2017 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), whilst now out of date, gave an idea of the sensitivity of the NPV to tin prices. Not surprisingly the NPV is very sensitive to tin prices. Section 22.4 of the PEA, (available on SEDAR) starting on page 170, discusses key sensitivities. The first line of table 22.3 shows that a 10% increase in the price of tin moved the NPV of the project up by 44%. Whilst it is almost certain that the figures have changed since 2017, that does give a guide as to what to expect.
Since its low in November the tin price, as reflected in the price of the tin driven ETC “TINM” has risen not 10%, but 40% and more today. That price move, if maintained, will make a huge difference to the NPV of the project and make its financing much more attractive and less risky, to providers of capital, be it project finance, off-take agreements, debt, equity etc. i.e. make the realisation of the value of the project much more likely, and give the realisation a much bigger NPV.
I have never really worried about this stock but the current trades are concerning me
Hard to believe I exited this last in the 20’s, but how low can it go? Cash seems solid (though a raise required at some point), news expected on drilling but otherwise in a lull whilst they de-water.
Hold my cash for present
Don't think it's going to make much difference to us what price tin is until we get into production stage.
Bit boring isn’t it..
Up by nearly 10% in a day... meanwhile at CUSN...
Once again thank you valuation-it-is. Just watched the link, it sounds very promising. Looking forward to the coming news flow from Cornish metl. I feel now's the time at these prices. Personally I can see this being a top investment

You might find Fawzi Hanano's comments at 8.20 onwards particularly helpful in this video.

Valuation-it-is, thanks again for posting, much appreciated. I find the more I read, the more I like this company. After all, it's a proven mine, not exploration, so we know it's there. Let's hope it's feasible to extract it with the world going green, and all EV being produced. It's all positive for tin commodity prices. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

The Preliminary Economic Assessment (“PEA”) is expected to be published in Q2 2024 to provide interim guidance ahead of the publication of the Feasibility Study (news release dated January 17, 2024).

"At closing VBR will enter into a relationship agreement with Cornish Metals and its nominated adviser to ensure that the company can continue to operate independently."

Thank you for posting that Valuation-it-is. You can't believe how much activity there was when you see that. Let's hope we see good results from the PEA. Isn't it around now that it's released?
When funds become available I keep topping up. Let's hope it pays off for us all. Good luck with your investments.

I think you can congratulate yourself for paying about half the price Sir Mick and Vision Blue were prepared to pay a long time ago, when South Crofty was at a far less advanced stage of re-development.

Added some more here today. Now at 75% of my intended target.
Given the current bid/ask, I expect this buy will come up as a sell.
The last reported 'sells' at .8699 may well be buys too given my trade was at the same price, not that current volumes and trades are really worth paying attention too at the current very low levels.

I think at this point we're going through. Itwould be nice to see some of the directors buying shares. It would make a lot of people investing feel more comfortable about putting their money in.
Thankyou Valuation-it-is, much appreciated.

In the 2017 EA the mine life was estimated at 8 years. Since then a lot of exploratory drilling has taken place and the inferred and indicated numbers have risen significantly.
See page 18 of the Feb 2024 presentation.

You will also see the graphic possibility on the RHS of the page of firming up more resources.
Hopefully more drilling results will be with us soon.
Does anyone know the mining life? I've read it's 8 years. Is this right, it doesn't seem very long?
