Seingred. If you look around, you may notice that most posters most of the time don't announce their trades. Of those that do, some are probably fibbing. Anyone who does, does so for a reason. In your case, it seems like an inferiority complex frankly. Others may be trying to influence the SP, which is conceivably possible, for a short time, in a low-volume share like Condor. In the short term, the market is a voting machine, but in the long term it is a weighing machine.
Someone is buying something, even if it's not much. £13k buys yesterday. We're not all loaded you know!
Personally, I try to abstain from a lot of this nonsense, partly as some sort of 'code of honour', but also because I mostly just find it a vexing waste of my time these days. One day, I'll probably just drop off entirely. I can do my own research and have no need of validation from strangers online.
Seingred seems unable to understand the present situation, actually he does it deliberately to spin his deramping tales.
I will repeat what I said this morning.
He is trying to tell you that Condor is preparing a DFS which is a stage down from a BFS. The truth is Condor have used neither of those terms and have called it a Feasibility Study. What matters is what is in the FS and what it is intended to achieve. This is what the CEO says in the last RNS:
“ Very comprehensive metallurgical test-work has been conducted to the highest standards as a Feasibility Study level is the technical document to which project finance is provided to the Project”
So it should be clear to all that the FS will be used by the Financiers (or farm in partners or bidders) to provide finance to the project.
If the likes of Seingred need to attach a label to this FS then it would have to be Bankable Feasibility Study.
If anything is laughable it’s Seingred’s desperate attempts at deramping in the small period before the FS is released. It is quite likely that financing news will be released at the same time as the FS as they have been working on the financing for months along side the FS.
Frenchie, yes it was mc that suggested that full studies may not be needed and converted to fact by blueskyers. The dfs is 9 months overdue and commenced a long time previously. I do not believe it to be the result of data room visit , rather fairly standard practice to get to funding.
E l, it is mutual, listening to posters perrenially posting overoptimistic scenarios, failing to admit it and inventing scenarios to explain their way off predictions is not only tedious but very misleading . Well there has been plenty of posters posting about buying when prices were higher. Pretty obvious from volume even if you all are poker face investors . would have thought posting if you buy when u buy would increase sentiment and since mr 888 thinks I post for some ridiculous idea that I can affect the sp then surely confirming buys would do the opposite ,no?
888, perhaps it is worth reading the difference between a dfs and a bfs. Agreed , mc hasnt been specific on the term of the studies. Dfs and bfs are seperate recognised studies. Of course it is true that the metallurgcal studies would be the technical study for finance. Now perhaps you can explain the difference between dfs and bfs. Bfs is to do with finance. It is possible that a combination of both will be released I guess. Personally ,I doubt that finance will closely follow fs. Lets see shall we.
To be fair Seingred, it came from Mark himself that a BFS was not required. It could well be the visitors to the data room are insisting this is now completed.
Your posts are getting as tedious as some of those you accuse Seingred. Change the record. Incidentally though, how do you know others aren't buying? Unlike some, I have no interest in broadcasting my trades or really my strategy in general, to all and sundry on the internet.
In Marks latest proactive interview, he seems to announce that Condor have secured /bought 100% of the land surface rights for the project? So land is no longer an issue / stumbling block for project finance? I hadnt heard that before - I thought there were still one or two land owners who were holding out for more money.. ??

The pontificating Seingred returns to peddle more nonsense. I wonder what name he uses on advfn as he is peddling the same deramping ploys that were used there over the weekend. He is trying to tell you that Condor is preparing a DFS which is a stage down from a BFS. The truth is Condor have used neither of those terms and have called it a Feasibility Study. Bfs one stage further than dfs
Interestingly when I stated the need for these studies years ago when questioning the timelines, it was stated that they wouldnt be needed. Glad that I stick to de ramping instead of way over optimistic blind Faith. I think over on advfn , unlike many here they have wised up over the years of over optimism and ever extending timelines and find 888 post particularly laughable.
Gold producers up significantly over the last month generally , crypto up very nicely, cnr stuck at 23 p. hopefully see a move up with some news. Would have thought that all the blueskyers here would be loading up at this bargain price when our latest downgraded price forcast is 80 p. Not so long ago a £1.20 one was being bandied on here and £1.50 before that, none of which were attained so good luck with the 80 p. Decent buy now for 30 p plus imv but there are loads of other opportunities that may be more rewarding. Been a good month in crypto from the lows . As always entry and exit point all important . Gla
Great post citizenblue, my thoughts exactly!
Thanks very much for posting that ‘citizenblue’.
To be honest, apart from Book5, the ADVN message board always red like something from Alice In Wonderland and the Mad Hatters Tea Party. Maybe that was always there point, but hardly the stuff of insightful corporate analysis. Lol!
Indeed, a quick Google will give you a definition:
Definitive Feasibility Study. (DFS) means a feasibility study undertaken to a high degree of accuracy which may be used as a basis for raising finance for the construction of a project.
Recent months have been very frustrating, due to probable delays. But I understand that at this crucial stage of the project this very often happens.
Yesterday, someone commented on ADVFN chat that on the proactiveinvestors interview,
https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/989381/condor-gold-releases-metallurgical-test-results-for-la-india-open-pit-989381.html
the terminology of Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) was used & that no such thing exists. Well, I would like to put that straight here…it does exist…Definitive means Final ie. A Final Feasibility Study on the technicals.
https://stockhead.com.au/primers/your-guide-to-mining-feasibility-studies/?amp
This is the phase that CNR are now in. Probably CNR are being analysed /assessed independently. It is in this phase that all the technicals are challenged & ‘Stress Tested’ against variables. It is during this phase that extra work is done to make amendments /adjustments or add new / update data & make the project as robust as possible. This is real reason for delay.
https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/part-2-definitive-bankable-feasibility-study-scott-perry
Once the DFS is completed, CNR would enter (or is already in) as MC puts it “Projecting Financing / Construction Financing” - this is the ‘MONEY’ phase ie. the Bankable Feasibility (BFS) phase underpinned by the DFS - it is here that CNR will negotiate bank / investor finance, Joint Ventures / Buyouts etc.
I have read many comments on here & on ADVFN, on how discontented some are with MC…that he is a liar & is not up to the job…
Speaking for myself, I feel he is running things admirably…considering…
During interviews, MC comes across as being knowledgable & speaks fluently about the project. It gives me greater confidence listening to MC than someone who talks like a ****y flashy car salesman(person).
It is a shame that someone on ADVFN CNR chat has decided to bail out…impatience & after a quick buck..? I suppose He/She failed the ‘Stress Test’…!
