Crude prices declined further on Thursday touching their lowest value in three months as concerns about the oil demand appeared to grow after the latest data showed that industrial production in the United States slowed more than expected in October.
The Energy Information Administration previously revealed an oil inventory build-up in the United States, with the steep rise in crude inventories seemingly fueling worries about weakening commodity consumption in the country.
The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for December deliveries tumbled 5.04% to sell at $72.80 per barrel at 12:40 pm ET. Brent for January contracts plummeted 4.79% to trade at $77.25 a barrel. Both benchmarks dropped to their lowest levels not seen since mid-July.

Busterhogdog,
Just shown this to my friends and everyone thinks its hilarious, everyone thinks its great fun that this forum has an "Oily Old Sod!" as it's cox!
Oh dear we really haven't a clue what the "Cox" is going on about with the sticky fingers pushing buttons, sounds a bit suspect, Oh dear, but who cares because now we can't stop laughing, possibly all this frivolity has made us "Dovish" in the right direction of course
Cheers!
Bye for now!

Its not new Tony.
Its gone on from the 70s and will continue.
Thats why the South Easrern countries along with Ruskis continue to buy Gold ,is it not --

Quick read and it focuses on USD which impacts on gold of course and thus Centamin.
"IT'S LIKE GOLD"
Investment firms say they buy farmland because it is resilient to inflation, offers stable returns through land leases and has limited downside risk, features that became more attractive after the 2008 financial crash pushed investors to build diversified portfolios.
"It's a hard asset. It's like gold. It's not going anywhere," said David Gladstone, CEO of Gladstone Land, a real estate investment trust which owns 116,000 acres of farmland, mostly growing blueberries, strawberries, almonds, and other produce, across 15 states at a value of $1.6 billion.
With the growing distrust of governments and financial markets...no surprises here .. just like gold.
The NCREIF farmland index has averaged an 11.4% annual return over the past 25 years, compared to 9.3% for the S&P 500 index, according to an August Gladstone investor presentation.

Steve the only nutter is you .
Why insult others ? if you were nice to people then it works both ways mostly , Guess your just an oily old sod .
Good day and God Bless You .
Right direction Mr Bond- consistent with CPI earlier, so all continuing for a more dovish FED- here's hoping :-)
Thats looking promising 231k a rise from projected 220K.
But the previous figures ,they can argue, was a revision down.
This is still not enough evidence for Powel and the FED.
If it’s your’s, prob just a clearing system/multi systems temp glitch-
Quick on the button there George - wouldn’t worry about it- minor trade only above £13k
I bought 15408 at 1330 hrs @ 88.47 .....interestingly enough theres a 15408 transaction being shown as unknown ??
In the title. Do your own analysis.
Thank you Busterhogdog and the other members who have been so nice and explained how things work.
Until I started to look at forums to try and find out more about my investments I hadn't realised how petty and nasty to one another some of the posters can be bragging on about their trading successes and ridiculing anyone who asks questions, seems so silly!
I asked one of the guys who has a good position at a city trading desk what he thought about the behaviour of some forum members and he just laughed saying ignore the ones that brag the most they are usually just frustrated would be traders.
I shall have to go now as I have to work.
Bye for now !
Pam
Hi Pam .
Most on here are friendly its just a few odd bods than troll boards wondering dropping nasty comments .
Steve will join another soon he is probably from Solg as these trolls breed there .
He or she has gone quiet maybe the dummy has got stuck somewhere I think .
Toilet roll has fallen from shoulder and can t wipe mouth maybe .
One of the guys contacted me to say that a big investor Van Ecjk has just increased it's holding and this was a good sign?
I hope so,
He also said if I subscribed to Centamin website that I would get news of what's happening, I may do this.
Pam
Hello busterhogdog,I'm new to this type of forum so not really that familiar with what to do as I usually use social media to help promote my lifestyle and fashion industry related business.
I'm really glad to see though that there seems to be some friendly people on here who have tried to be helpful
Have a nice day!
Pam
Major European stock markets traded mostly higher during the premarket session on Thursday, as investors assessed the messages sent after the meeting between United States President Joe Biden and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. The Chinese leader said the two countries should be partners, while the US head of state stressed that he expects China not to interfere in the US elections scheduled for 2024.
The DAX added 0.92% at 7:54 am CET, while the CAC 40 increased 0.30%. The FTSE 100 fell 0.25% at the same time, and the Euro Stoxx 50 gained 0.44%.
The euro was flat against the dollar at 7:57 am CET, selling for $1.08397. The pound traded 0.10% below the greenback and went for $1.23970 simultaneously.

Gold currently + .3%
just what we want is to know where this is going . share price and trends is what matters not idiots talking *******s .
Can you remember a year ago from your posts ?
I think not ? Captain Hindsight strikes again .
Steve will try to get your comments blocked ? He has blocked some of mine and does not believe in free speech just his own .
Seems some sort of Dictator or Zealot .
Stevejones does not know either ? probably a soft landing for rich people ?
Peeps like him infest these boards and they don , t care about others point of views !
Mr T and others talk sense and help . It s a shame that a few make comments to get a platform of dribble .
Haven't got a clue what a soft landing is, but whatever it is I hope its good for Centamin!
Just had a look and saw the nice message from Dasut,
I was advised by one of the guys to open ISA each year and have put all my spare cash into them
They thought Lloyd and L&G were good to just leave in the ISA's and this year I have filled the whole ISA with Centamin & Barrick so hope the guys were right!
I was hoping for a takeover because the price could shoot up, never mind though I am in now!
Cheers!
Pam
Looks like tommorows open should be around 90 p.
Take a look at late trades ,the UT was 1.2 million at 89 . At 1754 pm a 90,000 plus ,buy at just over 90 p.
Pam welcome to the Centamin chat as have just picked up on the banter.
Takeover has been talked about on and off numerous times.
Not sure I have ever taken any advice after a session in a wine bar or any other bar come to that least of all advice on investments, mainly because alcohol has a tendency for some exaggeration.
Agreed Centamin has become a trading stock rather than an investment stock in recent times but to hang on in the belief of another company taking a run at them I find somewhat intriguing. OK yes the share price is low and has considerable room for improvement but at the same time they are currently a single resource mining company, with a 50% profit split with the Egyptian Government. So you then need to think about who would take a run at them and I don't think any of the mining majors see Centamin's current structure as one that fits their core values, otherwise they would have already shown their hand. Would Endeavour have another go not sure but maybe?
I do however feel a hold is currently not a bad idea as the thought is that Centamin has or is close to turning the corner to achieve better results than it has for a number of years, but that is only a gut feel/opinion.
