Mr T. True, true and await we do. That said, is there something inherent in the licence renewal stopping CB/Bezant promoting the higher figures used by ACI? I recognise the intention to upgrade the resource has been mentioned, what I'm not understanding is why the larger numbers are not being used by Bezant.

It is, but the markert is still awaiting the licence renewal before any values or JORC's are relevant.
Once the licence renewal is announced then you can look at these uplifts and Im sure our sp will rerate accordingly.
I see us shooting up to the .040's/50's once the bandwagon starts to roll but, for now we still await that licence renewal.
Mr T
I'm interested in why there's no discussion regarding CB/Bezant quoting Mankayan(JORC 2004) at approx half the metals of Asean Copper Investments. If you don't know what I'm talking about see ACI's aus linkedin page where they state a JORC 2012. So does anyone have any thoughts on this? What am I missing... Seems a big upside to me?
Yes seems to have been a rocky day today in the market, not sure what caused it! Possibly the threat of Russia invading Ukraine?
Buy at full ask at the end of the day bodes well for tomorrow providing the market is calmer.
I noticed that early doors, all my watch list of which I only hold four, was blue, all ended red!!!!
Mr T
MrT, I reckon we could have threatened 0.2p today had it not been for the wider market malaise. We started the day 6% up! Looking good here with news on a number of fronts....
Hi Prickly,
Ah! it was you who likened our m/c to a mansion in Hampstead!
I briefly saw 0.20p on the ask first thing today, I therefore believe it will not be too long before we enter the 0.20's. A little more buying pressure required.
Yes should hear some news on Hope shortly, be nice to be on the rise before that giving a good platform for a decent rise should it be good news.
Mr T
Good stuff Mr T and Dvh tks. I agree we should see strong progress on the three fronts, Cyprus Namibia and Manakayan.
I think CB mentioned in his podcast that he was off to Namibia this week so that bodes well for Hope Gorob.
I wonder if the reason we have not made more headway on the Sp is the overhang of Aug 2020 warrants at .16. Ragnar mentions this and I hope they are hoovered up this year with good newsflow.
Incidentally the Mansion in North London that I once referred to in relation to BZT MCap now costs around 15m in Hampstead so collectively we need around .28 to get there. Sadly I calculate that I need BZT to hit 30p before I can buy one for myself! But what would I do with 10 bedrooms . Maybe run a guest house...
DVH,
Excellent summary, I will add the following regarding Hope which as you say we should hear about very soon!
" A drill rig has been mobilised to undertake at least 2,000m of diamond drilling to test a number of new airborne EM conductors in the vicinity of the Hope and Gorob deposit cluster on the Matchless belt in Namibia
· The drilling has the potential to add to the existing JORC (2012) - compliant mineral resource base"
Diamond Drilling Programme
Modelling of data from Bezant's helicopter-borne EM survey, covering about 3,000 line kms along a 130km strike extent of the Matchless Copper Belt, highlighted several highly prospective drill targets on EPL 5796 (refer to RNS dated 29 September 2021). The EM survey was designed to look for buried extensions of the Hope and Gorob-Vendome deposit cluster on EPL 5796, as well as testing the extensive underexplored potential through EPLs 7170 and 6605.
The drilling plan envisages completion of 8-10 holes on the identified targets on EPL 5796, commencing in late November and likely to continue into January 2022 after the Christmas break. The aim of the programme is to discover new copper-gold zones adjacent to the established deposits which have the potential to increase the mineral resources that will be available to a future mining operation.
All from the November RNS, all leading to the mining application for the mining licence .
Just think, the Hope project with a licence to mine, the JV Caerus project, mining to commence as soon as possible, and the the Mankayan licence renewal and float on the ASX under IDM Mankayan, where could this sp possibly be in say 12 months time! bearing in mind we are valued at no more than a current mansion in London as someone recently referenced us to!!!
Mr T
Hi DVH - stop by Asean Coppers linkedIn page... They are already quoting a JORC 2012... what do you make of that?
3rd time lucky...
queerBongo
That was a great interview. So much potential this year..... and starting from such a low point...
Plenty to look forward here as sentiment towards the small cap mining sector is beginning to turn positive. We should be getting an update from the Hope drilling programme (RNS 30 Nov21: 'The drilling plan envisages completion of 8-10 holes on the identified targets on EPL 5796, commencing in late November and likely to continue into January 2022 after the Christmas break')
The granting of the Mankayan licence (renewal) and relisting on the ASX will be a game changer (RNS 13 Sep 21: 'The Company has previously reported a JORC 2004 resource using a 0.4% Cu cut off of 1.3 Mt of contained copper and 4.3 M oz of gold for the Mankayan Project and it is the intention of IDM to update this to a JORC 2012 compliant resource.')
Not forgetting our JV with Caerus in Cyprus targeting production next year, & Kalengwa in Zambia...
CB seemed particularity positive about the short & medium term company prospects (Mankayan & Caerus JV) in his latest interview targeting bezant as a future £160M company! Scope for a decent re rate on the right news from a current mcap of £8M!

We are clearing through the overhang here and the last of the flippers… I see volume beginning to grow… CB took wages at 0.2p… it’s cheap here and even at 0.3 we are cheap… I see us making headway over the next week…
