Can’t believe nobody else talking about this.
It’s what we have been waiting for.
The info we have so desperately pleaded for.
More info in one go than we have seen in the last 2 years.
Definitely an essential BZT listen.
Future proofing our lowly market cap

Yes there’s no reason we shouldn’t end up with a 50% share of the net. The devil will be in the detail , hope they’ve learnt the lesson from manica and keep it simple and easy to police
Ok Sorry had overlooked we only own 70%,
So take your figures of 5k tons at $8500 = $42.5m gross sales. Say the profit margin is 40%. ( A guessstimate) Then profit comes out at $17m of which our share is between 21% and 35% depending on the deal they can hammer out with contractor > in the SPV . Special purpose vehicle. I think CB mentioned 50/50 but might be different at beginning as the (chinese) contractor would need to recover some up front costs. All a bit pie in the sky atm but should be getting closer. I think CB said Martin was heading out to Namibia the day after we spoke last week. A 50/50 deal would get us close to the $6m figure.
Not quite sure I follow the “share with contractors “ bit
8500 x 5000 for ease = $42.5m -the split would presumably be 70% contractor , 30% us - of which we get 70% which is our ownership fraction
So that comes out at 9m$ per annum in expected year 1 ? Might be wrong with this calc
In my recent discussion with Martin C and CB they mentioned figures of $12m rising to $26m after a couple of years. we will of course have to share this with our contractors. Working backwards and assuming a POC at todays level of $8400 We are looking at 4 m/t (producing 4800 tons cu) and rising to 9600 tons from 8m/t of ore. Assuming 30% margin.. Ball park figures of course . But realistic I hope Cyberiachas. I am still hopeful MR T. Although well aware there's many a slip ....and we have yet to see the cup
What is the estimate for annual copper production from h n g once the license is approved and it’s up and running ? 5000 T copper per annum ?
That’s $42m , even at a 25% share that’s over $10m per annum share with current market cap currently sub $3m
This is taking , as we all know, a long time and evidence of good intent has always been something to prove and, hopefully, the acceleration of activity has helped and will achieve the result. I have no doubt personally that once the licence is granted, this will fly.
Morning Prickly,
Thanks for whar appears the most exciting update here for many moons!!!
I have been in correspondence with the company over the past months and to be fair I have always received a prompt response which usually is a good sign!
We do need some urgent positive news here to shift the sp which is on the floor.
Good to see you back on the board also, I was beginning to think you had given up!!!
Mr T
Thanks Prickly, I have a few BZT and feel the SP is well over sold.
Excellent prickly but why does it have to come from you ? They might at least have provided a Twitter update ( to get around regulatory control nonsense ).
Thanks Prickly. At last, some useful information.
After the XTR meeting on tuesday I had a chance to discuss the impending licence with CB, He explained that he hoped we should be granted this license very soon as it had one more committee to pass through only and this was looking very favourable. we should get news at the end of this month. As he has said many times nothing has been left to chance. The non equity financing, the contractors, the freighting and the processing plants are all under way. The moment the license drops we should be ready to roll. The Namibian authorities wanted to see evidence of our good intentions to press ahead. Martin Churchhouse was equally adamant that this was going to happen. CB has said this before but i think he is determined to see this through now. He understands the frustration of the shareholders . The Namibian authorities have tightened up their application processes in the last year so this along with extraneous events such as the death of the president has contributed to the delay. The license application complete with accompanying supporting documents comprised over 600 pages!. Hence a long review .
I think it will be worth the wait as this mine when it is up and running will be producing a very good income quite quickly. Those that have held on for a long long time may shortly see some improvement in the SP . Inshallah.
The AIM exploration market is different now and it is in a very unloved space regardless of who is in charge. At least we have the assets which due to lack of money are being worked on at slow pace but Namibia might be a very slow and difficult country to do mining. We do need something to happen soon or a more positive back ground to the AIM exploration market to lift all companies from this totally poor depressing market slump.
Although patience has been tested by the speed of progress, progress there is. A lot of negativity today on this board but, of course, we're only small investors in comparison with the over 60% of the major holders and 6% of directors, all not at all bad. I think that we're still in the right place .
DVH
You are probably correct but until we know for sure then a mining operation is where this is headed.
The licence is now imperative as will be the finance package put in place if one can be!!!
I emphasised to the Company last week that news had been non existant here over the past months and I have persisted in calling for quarterly updates on Mankayan!!!
Anyone selling here is obviously desperate for cash so we have to hang in on there for the end gamewhether it is at Hope or Manksyan.
The other assets are irrelevant currently imo, unless someone wants to purchase Eureka from us?
So, I will sit tight for 2024 and hopefully be able to get out at a higher price than where we currently sit?
Mr T
If you didn't know CB (and BZT) peeps could be duped into thinking that the company could have a mining operation in the not too distant future. Trouble is everyone knows what CB is like hence the 'market' reaction to today's RNS....
True dv.
Bezant has no credibility now. Most of today's trades are sells.
Nothing will happen to the SP until the licence is granted (or something positive at Mankayan). Mcap of just £2.6M reflects current situation....
Would have been nice to have a hint of how the funding will work out. Certianly not through a placement at these levels.
Welcome news of activity on all fronts.and reminders of what we have. Hopefully the licence will soon be granted and glad to read of Northern Argentina too. Central South America has been productive for hundreds of years . Let's hope it proves so for us.
Has to drip feed something to justify the raise to pay salary cycle.
Thanks, CB
Have been waiting patiently for an update.
The application is in and sounding well advanced... https://audioboom.com/posts/8454846-midweek-takeaway-mining-indaba-2024-special-umr-maru-neo-afp-xtr-atn-glr-ura-k
