Colin Bird’s AIM record (as of March 24):
Time he became CEO of BZT- SP 0.5….now 0.02 (over 95% down)
Time he became CEO of XTR- SP 10...now 0.9
Time he became CEO of Galileo 7.38...now 1.0
A lot of money has been paid by private investors to fund these ‘companies’ but the more interesting question is how much money has been paid to Colin Bird, over these periods?

If you type in 'Hope', you will see that there has been a mining license application that has been pending since July 2022
Namibia is one of the fastest mining jurisdictions in Africa
Bare in mind, its a 2 way street- everyone always blames the jurisdiction for delays- but if the miner isnt doing its part, then delays will happen.
(for example if they had no real intention of ever mining there and tried to drag the whole thing out while paying out salaries and stock-price destroying placings)
The SEIA and EMP have been submitted. The Ministry can now review and approve the SEIA and issue an ML ( any time after 26/3). The ML becomes live immediately an Environmental Clearance Certificate is issued. This comes from another Ministry. That is routine if the ML has been approved. All is in good order. Not long now.
Cla...in interesting copper mine....in our jurisdiction.....but more expensive

When the SEIA is passed or approved and issued, is the mining license automatically in force?
Or does it go to the minister for sign off?
Today's Option allocation RNS must be a good sign in anticipation of a forthcoming Mining Licence for H&G. Otherwise why would they take this action at this time ?
You are right. The SEIA was completed in late February but submission was delayed until 4th March and there is a 21 day public consultation period as shown in the link below
https://elaw.org/eia-country-region-details?elaw_wpdt_table_id=4&elaw_wpdt_row_id=45
Http://eia.met.gov.na/web/projects/2744
Commenting of the public on this project will expire at 12h00 on the 2024-03-26
There needs to be some perspective here methinks.
The RNS today is in respect of another licence, NOT the main one that will lead to a commissioned copper mine near term. Submission of the SEIA and EMP , both referred to in the discussion here yesterday is a very good sign- excellent in fact. It means that the Ministry of whatever can now determine the Mining Licence application and they will probably condition it on the issue of the ECC - the final permit. There is now no hurdle to the issue of the ECC. The company has done great work to minimise environmental issues going forward. The public participation or consultation phase is now over. It is not the 26th March. It is completed.
This is going in exactly the right direction and I suspect we will get the news we seek shortly. It has taken a long time but I sure you all know the term TIA - in case not - This is Africa ! Stay strong and keep the faith
Not the news we were hoping for, nonetheless another step in the right direction, but, nobody appears to be interested!! which is a little worrying?
Hopefully once the main news drops the market will sit up and take note and investors will start investing in bzt?
I wonder how long this licence approval will take, I cant remember when the application was submitted but it was an awful long time ago.
Mr t
Why would the company announce something they plan to do rather than have already concluded at a contractual level ? On that basis there would be an RNS on a daily basis !! Give them a 'break'.
All the documents are there in different files- topnaar consent of the project, they want 15% equity and a seat on the board, interesting that they plan to acquire the namib zinc lead mine to use the existing plant there to process the ore from hope and gorob. Not sure why the company has not announced this information. Last date for comments is the 26/03/24
Covers much the same but the environmental study also here:
http://eia.met.gov.na/screening/2744_emp_hope_and_gorob.pdf
A LOT of new information in the ESIA, Bezant to aquire a lead/zinc mine!
Or just put the decimal point,in the wrong place
Just there?
Not long now...... you're new here.
Definitely a good sign. Not long now methinks
I agree. Looks fine to me and helps the preparations along. A good sign imo
Some further good news, loan repayment extended, although I suspect this will eventually be converted should the sharecprice achieve the targets set!!
Reference ti the licence, again, yet another teaser but we still await confirmation.
Mr T
SOS
Agreed, all positive and does look as if we could be up and running early 2025.
Licence appears to be a formality from what was said so I assume that should drop by the end of May at the very latest.
Once that is secured the newsflow on Hope will be regular I would assume, hopefully we will then see a gradual rise in our sp leading up to production.
The key to it all will be how the financing is structured and what element of income we achieve at the outset?
I'm prepared to wait now and see how this runs, let's let the story unfold and see where we are this time next year.
Mr T
