Jake obviously I did answer your question, but you didnāt seem to understand it. So to stop you crying in your cash pile, here is some information for you.
Itās not good reading for John major Iām afraid, but I personally liked him & thought he did a good job in difficult circumstances
https://www.ukpublicspending.co.uk/uk_national_deficit_analysis
Jake Adolf hitler being left wing is not a view or opinion, neither is him being affiliated in any way to Marxism. Itās plain wrong & a kind of madness
Source not a labour supporter.......will leave that one out there
Still you give waffle regarding my question, incident I never mentioned the2008 crash. You even appear to argue regarding Scargill. You usethe term village idiot, question peoples mental state because they don't agree with your views. Can't be bothered wasti gmy time responding to soneone who is incapable of answering a simple question.

Bkkkk - more nonsense, did you read that in the daily mail. Was that the picture altered to remove his poppy or stories about him meeting with terrorists to encourage death and distraction. Rather than naively trying to talk peace? Corbyn is a naive idiot, I donāt disagree
All you are doing is describing the lies and deceit.
& btw youāre not the village idiot, I see you as vulnerable, ripe for grooming by him / her / it.
AUS3009
just so everyone is aware to him I'm a village idiot
So after I said about the pensioners get free tv and corbyn disrespecting our war heroes obviously he wants to bin our elderly and forget about our war heroes
Obviously a man with 1 brain cell no respect or values
Not brought up dragged up labour will never get in accept it
End of
Bkkk - I kind of rest my case. Get some help fella, hopefully a labour government might improve mental health care for you.
Jake, I kind of donāt like or agree with you world view of āevery man is an islandā. External forces will of course overwhelm you & your family at some point & I hope you regain yourselves with a degree of humility.
You seem to be labouring under the impression I am a left winger, a supporter of labour.
As Iāve already said making assumption when drowning in ignorance isnāt good
I donāt support labour or left wing policies or even like Corbyn. I am a lifelong Tory supported who recognises the shameful state of a government we have. These are dangerous times, the Conservative party in my opinion is toxic, supported by even more dangerous and toxic agendas.
I recognise the dangers of labour too, of course, but they offer a break from one dangerous agenda which has gone too far, to another dangerous agenda which hasnāt started.
To answer your question, by its nature a socialist style government spends on things like care and health, this isnāt cheap. But Iām not stupid enough to think the world wide crash in 2008ish was the fault of our labour government.
This forms the basis of my current political view, one direction is more division, ever greater lies and deceit with more cruelty, whilst the other will be better health care & a softer slightly kinder country away from the trump & Steve Bannon way of doing things.
The labour party are just far right communists
Labour north Korea same thing
Of it was aimed at me
Hi Aus3009.
For the record I spent some time homeless when I first left home, there was homelessness under labour government as well. My kids will be fine because they have been given the most important thing in life, respect for themselves and the reality nobody gives them anything for nothing in return . Over the years I have helped many people who wanted to put equal effort in themselves.
You still haven't answered my question about the Labour party and the economy so happy to leave the discussion there.
Hi Anon.
Yes I can see it. I spent many years struggling with a family , mortgage etc. Worked sometimes 60pkus hours a week and never had a family holiday for more than 25 years. My view right or wrong is you are dealt a hand of cards. You play these as best you can to get the best result.
What scargill done to the mining industry
Corbyn will do to the country
That's a crying shame and literally has the same effect upon reading it.
Anon you are completely wrong.
Itās not that BT isnāt working itās because itās being prevented from working!
https://www.techradar.com/uk/news/world-of-tech/how-the-uk-lost-the-broadband-race-in-1990-1224784
AUS3009, I agree with you labour's proposal is bold and looks stupid. I am not convinced yet, just thinking that it could be run like NHS, we got both public and private healthcare, i.e. Talktalk can still serve customers through FiberNation. Also public library could be seen as a risk to put bookstores out of business.
As you have rightly mentioned, BoJo's policy is quite risky too with the possibility of bringing in US style cables and consequently could make Open reach and businesses that rely on it redundant. Not to mention the loss to private investors.
Anon - I too am trying to understand the proposition before rushing to a fixed view. If government took over the network management, replacing BT & then renting it to bb providers I could understand how that delivers without destroying the current industry. Itās the bit where the government seemingly replaces retail broadband relationships, sinking every other company and their work force? This is very strange. I can also understand why a government controlled network might provide services for free to people who need it. Train nationalisation I can understand, thereās no competition therefore no other operator on any given route, so same trains, same staff same everything just a different owner / boss. Telecoms isnāt like that, there are hundreds of companies vying for our bb money, replacing them all with one retail provider kills of all those other businesses
Aus2009.
It won't be free.
It's a headline thing, that's supposedly paid for by a Digital tax on the likes of Amazon.
While the right wing press perpetuates this stuff and this Labour party actually says it'll be free, it actually will not.
The Labour party, as stupid as they may seem if you read the Daily Mail, are not daft.
Things like this will be paid for with taxation, simple.
I'm personally all for it.
Because I can afford it (doing ok, but nowhere near wealthy, by any means) and am not a selfish bastard.
Zib - anon State sponsored broadband all sounds great & May or may not be a way to get round the long term investment & commitment needed to deliver it. The trouble with idiot Corbyn is his plan surely destroys an entire industry. Free BB is pretty ridiculous. Maybe funding, using openreach then nationalising might make more sense, I donāt know?. Iām not expecting much sense right now from either side. Iāve long felt BoJo will sell out to American pressure during trade talks with America, drug prices first then after pressure from Comcast & maybe Liberty telecoms, so sky & Comcast can get control probably using / extending the only American style cable operator. None of these scenarios maintain the status quo with BT and openreach.
Jake.
I think you forget one very simple thing and it's something I've learned.
For every winner, there is normally a loser.
You've done well.
Well done.
But I'll bet that even if you can't see it, someone else has lost down the line.
It's probably been my life's lesson, tbh.
Zibrahimocic,
So what does that say about the free market?
And Thatcher, who I detested, but that's another story?
No doubt opening up the market on the face of it, but not in our real interests.
And why?
Because the market couldn't/ wouldn't do it, because the investment costs were too high, imo.
This is exactly why it should be done by the state.
It's the only entity that can progress proper broadband in the UK.
anon3... BT wanted full fibre over 30 years ago after privatisation but the Tory government led by Thatcher wouldnt allow them to. They were too transfixed giving hand outs to cable companies to offer competition to the newly formed BT and no doubt receiving non exec positions on NYNEX United Artists Telewest and all the others while making BT stay uncompetitive and unable to offer TV as well as phone products and later on triple play products until they'd grabbed 60% of BT customer base. Now Corbyn wants BT to wipe out the corporate leeches that have only survived and flourished because of BT despite regulation hamstringing them at every turn...feck cable Sky TalkTalk and the rest of them...
Perhaps one day they'll be a cure for cognitive dissonance avoidance fever Aus. Until then, they'll be more of the same so probably best to try to laugh it off and humour the poor afflicted..
Hahaha blue Pete. I think you just nailed it. Them and us, division and plastic playground fag packet fascism. Too far right & we need a bit of left, too far right we need a bit of left. The trouble is thereās seems to be a bit of difficulty for some people to know their left from right. Thatās pretty dangerous when we need a re-balance.
Not sure about all the other options but I'd vote for the Aus party. Some impressive posts tonight.
5 past tea time.
The problem with this country is you lot are always saying it's someone else's fault, when actually it's all your fault 'cos you expect everything given to you for nothing. You lot have got a lot to answer for.
