"Never stay in?
I've stayed in since 40p, so think I'm doing OK!"
Tra la la
Mini crash? Nope. Just a blip. Where are all the trolls today?
*Thought this would bounce at 180…looking shaky now*
It did, but not with sufficient strength.
As someone pointed out, what's needed here is something positive to hang upward movement on.
Thought this would bounce at 180…looking shaky now
Ahh the vanity of the PI - "I bought in at 40p so I think I'm doing alright". They would still think so at 80p too. 60p? 50p? Madness!
Resident expert has gone very quiet on here
Time for another 'big' average down maybe?

Bought in big @201p. Thanks for the cheap ticket!
Yes, I reading about the ASOS curse recently. Can't quite nudge past £60.
I don't know what happens before this downward trend re BOO is done.
The directors (rightly in my opinion) obviously have no intentions of buying at these levels and the mood music around 'fast fashion' seems to be 'bad'.
Not sure where it goes from here.
Perhaps the Christmas narrative will help matters.
You said exactly the same on 11/10 Nuri. Bought £25k holding £150k
Repeated the statement today two days later using exactly the same figures.
So your either
a. restating your earlier buy on 11/10
b. telling a tale and ramping.
Which is it?
I think this is oversold, but sentiment is still against it. This will turn at some point; none of us know when but my guess (I'm not going to call it anything else) is that it will be somewhere between 150-180.
I've a few of these bought at a higher price; will add soon but not yet. Only time will tell whether I am right to wait, or indeed to buy at all.
Bought another £25k; £150k in this now. The fall has been too much or such a short period of time!
Hardly a crash more gradual decline 190 went 180 and wilting staying out no wonder directors not buying but this will turn it’s getting lower than a snakes belly and no early signs of a breakout anytime soon.
Well I've jumped in and out of shares in the past - with mixed success.
It's called trading - we all do it - the difference is timing.
180p is looking pretty fragile to me. If it doesn't go today, without something positive, it will fall this week.
I've actually never known or been in a share that has consistently fallen over such a sustained period of time. For a growth share with decent underlying (medium-term) numbers, it's extraordinary.
Dnt worry about it harchris I understand the frustration. Hopefully one day our lows will be in the 4s and highs above £5.
This is a short term issue nothing we can do . Apart from wait .
Good luck to all the those topping up .
Below £1.80 now thanks to BOO's inaction and sitting on the sidelines stance !!!
180 hasn't gone yet just because it dipped below - I just jumped in finally at 179p, been on my watchlist again for ages. GL all.
Yep, the drop seems to be relentless.
150p next, it seems.
I dare not sell (with the hope of getting back cheaper) in case something happens (i.e., director buys (which I'm personally not expecting, but you never know).
If you expect the price to go lower then sell now and buy back more at the lower price ho ho ho
I probably should have kept my irritation to myself, I'm sorry for suddenly calling you out... but I saw you post rampy comments day after day after day that never materialised. Now again you failed to recognise how beaten up the ASOS stock was already before your comments. You think it will fall 5-8% a day for a few weeks from £23.50 a share (when you posted that)??? That just isn't happening and is a ludicrously poor understanding of share price dynamics.
It might fall another 5-8%, it might drop to £20, but the real panic was over and done with by the time you started making your predictions.
Sorry Harchris for the doom and gloom outlook , the price was down at points yesterday 5% it did not finish at that but it’s has been red everyday regardless which is the sentiment.
I’m losing a lot on paper and I’m expecting this to go lower which is fine as I will hold for the foreseeable future.
The doom and gloom outlook as been reflected in the price . I wish for the opposite but can’t see much happening for a while .
The price is mainly to do with logistical issues hence lowered forecast .
It’s not to do with competition from primark , ASOS, shein etc as they are equally effected by rising logistical cost which is also reflected in the fall in there share price .
@kindness you are one of the absolute worst predictors of share price direction I've seen on these forums. After ramping day after day after on here claiming £4 was coming in August and September you then turned bearish and have been all doom and gloom.
Your latest prediction was 5-8% falls a day from Tuesday onwards at Asos and it has not done that, it finished more or less flat yesterday and same again so far today.
Face it you have no idea when it comes to share price action and you're invariably getting it wrong. God knows how much money you're currently losing!
