Oh and calamari tesla p/e is a 1000!
Zoom p/e is 600+!
Amazon 100+!
The list is endless...ive had this conversation with someone before, you dont understand how the p/e works and what limitations it holds dependant on type of stock...anyhow you don't buy "overvalued" stocks whilst everyone continues to do so and most importantly make money!
@calamari you do realise asos is operating on 100 p/e...not to mention its not putting in nowhere near the growth boohoo is...move on mate...you've been wrong umpteen times on this, its on record...just give it a rest now eh?
Yo wont be able to say that on wednessay
Caaaalamari! you are back again, remember when you spent the weekend trying to troll and worry everyone few weeks back when we were sub 290...price is 373 hit 390 today....as i said then you are a waste as you proved in the past so many times....talking of waste..enjoy wasting your weekend again.
Thank you very much, but I'll keep my money in Boo, all the way to 600!
AMGO oh god no. Just give me your money and there is about the same amount of chance you will get it back.
I've said this numerous times on here, this is the advantage boohoo has over ASOS. How many people really know that Karen MIllen, PLT, Nasty Gal, Oasis, Warehouse, Coast, MissPapp (I mean that last one I continue to forget!) are actually all boohoo??? The irony of boycotting boohoo for plt is quite funny and a good example of lazy armchair activism.
I saw a conversation on twitter about not shopping with boohoo, prettylittlething was the most suggested alternative.
I clearly need to educate her on "there", "they're" and "their"...
@steve You're correct. Asked my 20 Yr old daughter this when the news came out:
Q: Would the Boohoo slave labour thing in the news actually make you stop buying their clothes? (Pretty Little Thing is one of their brands)
A: Erm not gonna lie, No. But they’re clothes are cheap ****e so I don’t tend to shop with them much. But Pretty Little Thing are very popular so people my age and younger will still shop with them.
Just to reiterate, the target market dont care. Even the followers of the people writing this stuff don't care enough to like it. We have a weekend to buffer any bad news and fantastic results on Wednesday.
Moral of the story, no one cares. The news cycle has actual news about police being stabbed and the next lockdown.
The attempts by the news to oust the CEO and chairman are just the last attempts of crop journos to try and make a story before they have to go and do some actual research again.
Most kind of knew there would be some arguably abusing their position to rain on the parade, the media should have to provide proof of wrongdoing or be subject to investigation/prosecution imho as call me sceptical but it does look more than a little suspect.
Report with evidence, fine, nobody can argue with that, but speculation for the sake of speculation can be for nothing other than personal motive in my opinion.
Yes, and started implementing a programme of measures before the scandal as well.
Good job we have a weekend to forget about it
Boohoo mentioned in not the most positive light. Bound to have some running for the hills. Apparently the management knew about the issues before it was reported. DYOR.
