Hi SAS - apologies for not responding to your post of last night sooner, but clearly with 32 tick ups on your post, we are not alone in our beliefs!! VGLA true Greatlanders, these have been the toughest 3 years (plus) that any of us could have truly expected, but this too must change imho - we need one of the catalysts to land to see a decent bounce back and then we are off to the races!!
Redirons, like me, don’t you find it funny that patience seems to be something that is acquired with age. The constant bashers & whingers that appear here, seem to have none. They come from the “If you stop crying, I’ll buy you something” generation !
Whereas most of the LTH’s here, come from the “If you don’t stop crying, I’ll give you something to cry about” generation !
We are not the same.
I can’t believe the amount of people who show up here saying GGP is this, is that, it’s the other, all because they haven’t doubled their money within 1-2 years. Some of you are just dreamers. Just because some have made those sorts of returns in a short timeframe, doesn’t mean it’s the norm.
Wow - Ponie you do not look like you are in your 80th year, so whatever your secret is it’s working!! I’m a mere baby at 65 but at least I’m in full agreement with everything you say. Look forward to opening a bottle of bubbly at your 100th - hopefully on a nice yacht somewhere in the sunshine off the back of our substantial returns from GGP over the last couple of decades!!
Hopefully Ponie you'll have another 10 years in the tank I'm not getting any younger myself and this share price has taken it's toll this last 3 years but I think we are near the turning point, good luck and hold firm.
We expect he SP to decline on good news. Its been happening for years.
The parasites have their claws into GGP but we all know they do not kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. Stupid the Knockers are but they have to survive and obey the long term principles of investing.
We have our investments safely tucked away for the future and we can add at any time cheaply until Havieron/Telfer becomes of age.
Meanwhile we have our other tenements to fully explore including the Huge EG. No wonder we are described as being a win win organisation and now win again explorer soon to become a producer ( in mining timescales).
It is quite possible that we may eventually end up with double figure Tier 1 mines in the future if our exploration techniques are as successful as the last few years.
If you are younger then why not be patient with your life ahead and keep behind GGP fully. If you are like me (in my 80th year) then I hope (God willing) to be around for at least another few years so am very hopeful for the future when the rewards will start to flow.
I do not consider this posting to be a ramp but simply an example of the possible long term way forward for GGP (whatever form it may take).
So ignore the noise and keep the faith. Its in our hands.
GLA.
Today's RNS was expected and we all know at some point we strike again at one of our 100% owned tenements, what I find absolutely Rubber Stamping Greatland Golds LT future is Havieton and Telfer ownership, I knew we would become a producer and not just exploration but a 100% owner yes with major investors. As forecast over life a 215 to 20 m oz at forecast pog of $2500 Av over life we ate talking an mcap for GGP based on partnership and expected p/e of 15 or 5 Billion . I'll happily accumulate. No replies from burger flippers required
Potential monster
It'll be important to ground truth those geophysical interpretations early on. I found it interesting they are interpreting the BIF's as repeated and folded. I've read about and even seen folded BIF's on a local scale. Google folded banded iron formations and you'll see some incredible rocks aha. But folded over KM's in scale...sometimes its hard to visualise the scale of geological structures.
No need for the "snipe" Lad - get a grip.
LeicsLad, any chance of you not personally attack someone whilst looking for assistance? The SP is low/dropping due to the unknowns regarding Havieron/Telfer. Question yourself as to why you spend your money on things you don't understand.
From a layman's standpoint, I like the look of the tenement with fault lines and folds.
Good work Greatland!
Bamps, Yoda as always...
Why is the SP being hit again then with the good news coming, surely there should be some sort of impact?
I am just a lowly PI,. but have some knowledge of the space and it strikes me (excuse the punn) that we seem to go backwards on good news!!

I can’t get over that today’s news has been lost on here too quickly, swamped by negative idiots to drown it.
Most people seem to have glazed over with the announcement not really understanding it.
It’s all to do with obtaining the Heritage approvals and work can commence again after 6 or 7 years. That’s when the drill results were issued for Wishbone, Carnegie and Empress.
GH commented that they have found disseminated sulphides , they’re not as good as massive sulphides but indicating there are sulphide intrusions coming up through the basement so the drilling needs to be deeper.
Today’s announcement has highlighted the Banded Iron formation from one end to another that’s 50km yes FIFTY kilometres long of a mineralised structure cut through twice by 2 major fault lines.
Additionally the banded has 2 more Banded iron formations running parallel with the first which could add up to another 30km or so.
This is significant news.
