yes Ryan still invested, took out 25% earlier...but still holding and still just showing profit.
are you still invested in here parkez?
Going back to the 17.07 trade, a little digging...because these trades seem to cause some confusion ,and i have a desire to understand just what they are,and because they can be large sometimes and folk getting excited over them.
"Closing auction, which allows execution at the closing price, is a trading mechanism commonly used in securities markets across the globe. During a closing auction, market participants interested in trading at the closing price may input buy and sell orders.
The Closing Auction brings all buyers and sellers together into one common trade that establishes a clearing price for all interest"
so i am of the opinion the 17.07 trade is multiple trades ...buys and sells all shown as one trade.
also during this closing auction we get the UT trade...
Uncrossing Trade: During the auction period, there may be a point (or price) at which the best BID and best ASK match and a trade takes place. This trade on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) is known as an Uncrossing Trade. The LSE actually has many types of trade and each one is identified by a letter coding system.
I,m a little clearer on these trades now, takes a while to sink in with me.
V111JAS, my thoughts too. The RSI is at just 26 suggesting to me that this is seriously oversold. Any news would spoil this great top up opportunity at give away prices. The herd have been selling and now it is time for the "Contrarian Investor" to clean up, whilst the fools sell at a loss due to impatience and go and chase another dream before taking beer money profits.
Worth remembering this company has achieved more in 16 months than many AIM oilers have ever , and with c£12m in the bank the market values this asset at c£15M!!!! I don't think so somehow.
Really want to see 12p soon so certain people here can sell and then hopefully stop posting drivel here.
Good Luck Investors.
Just caught up with today's posts, see the 17.06 trade (today 17.07) has been raised again.
If it's a normal trade why is it considered a buy and not a sell?
Spent a bit of time trying to get to the bottom of these trades...to no avail as yet....
But these trades are ALWAYS mid price, suggests transfer from one to another.
- ~~~~ "someones interested! "
Me ! I`m buying more this week while this is (imo) totally undervalued .
( I didn`t buy that 600k )
bedex - do not forget that block trades on setsqx, which is a combined order and quote driven market, where retail investors compete with market makers, there is no maximum spread regime.
'M' Market Maker to Market Maker
A transaction between two market makers registered in the security in question including those executed through an inter dealer broker or a public display system.
Tony- I wouldn’t take the IIs invested here meaning this is a one way bet. You only have to look at the recent dealings from Woodford to see that. For example he backed a RI only in December at Kier for nearly £4 a share and people there were saying the same and saw it as insurance, but look what happened just 6 months later?? The shares crashed to nearly 50p. Prior to the RI being called he also increased his stake at nearly £9 a share. So how can you say that is a safe bet?? The question you need to ask is does he (or any other fund) still get paid their fees despite his funds being suspended and loosing billions of his clients money :)
I think you know the answer to that
Next time you see an "m" trade flag it up please because in 6 years I have never seen one, which suggests MMs do not transfer between themselves or they simply come up as "o" at mid price.
Enthusiastic deramper when you are out and looking to re enter and ramping now being back in.
Bad as micky boy imo.
Just remember those II’s didn’t invest £12m just on a wing and a prayer and an over exited CEO. There will have been good reason , infact pretty much the same reason we have invested when we heard what was happening . Lots of good news yet to come, it’s not over until the fat lady sings. Keep faith.
if it was a trade between two Market Makers, then it should have the "m" trade type - it is recorded as an "o" trade, so just an ordinary trade made through the market makers for normal settlement date.
SEA7, not the usual mid price transfer between MMs at 17.07 then?
600k shares after hours trade at 6.7p - someones interested!
Thinks this has more chance of reaching 1p per share over £1 per share.
I would be chuffed with 350 bopd and very happy if it is more for 16az.
As a starter that's not bad for ten.
Oh and then there is gas.
Over reaction to a **** up by an enthusiastic CEO. The same mistake will not be made twice.
Better to switch off in my opinion. Those selling have their reasons and that's up to them. I will sit it ort and let nature takes its course.
It's why we all hold . At some point they will release news and maybe it will incorporate other news on gas etc .
At some point the market will catch up.
Will have to wait and see and keep taking the pills !
Spot on, I think the flow rates will catch a few out here. The info is being held back imho to allow things to fall in place such as oil contracts and gas offtakes
Hi Bigboffer
Total agreement and that is the view most LTH have but it's how the new investers and scared sellers think.
@mad man rob...who cares ?????
If the current well only cleans up to a diosastrous level of circa 500 bopd and the next one does the same poor amount, that is still 12 million quid a year profit with nothing in the figures for wells 3 and 4 and without gas figures. If 12 million quid a year is poor performance for a company with no debt and millions in the bank then so be it. With an MCAP of circa 25 million then we have a p/e ratio of 2. Oh how silly. This will re-rate, you can bet your last quid on it and the best smell of all will be burning shorters and the smell of the haters leaving through the rear exits. £1.00 per share within 12 months , easy !!
Hi guys.
What do you think will steady the share price on WR16aZ update ? 200bopd may be considered a disaster and 800bopd considered good news. But the likelihood is somewhere inbetween. I am thinking around 350bopd.
So if a RNS came out saying well now cleaned up and producing 350bopd, would the market accept this lower rate and then be able to move on?
It is pretty obvious that the next flow news on well 38 will not be 'outstanding'.
The company cannot and will not go overboard now with news as they may **** up all over again.
Any flow rates will be announced with ultimate precaution or they will be taken with a lot of skepticism unless they state precisely all facts which in theory will not be available until various tests, chokes etc have been carried out... we are stuck for a while yet before we see serious accumulation in share price. I'm 50% down and can only hope they get it right.
