Sir Al, on Monday, tell us to what happened in 2020 to:
Adeptrix,
Cyvita,
Integumen,
Spit test,
BAMS,
Covid neutralising therapy,
ELISA,
moonshot...............
I am sure there are many more waffles you have made but let’s go with this list for now......
and the substantial news flow we were told was coming back then.........
Are you capable of delivering anything you say Sir Al, otherwise I was right to call you Del Boy of the biotech world.
I am not sure why people are so defensive, it’s an investment, although it’s hard not to become attached to a share, the only reason people invest is to make money.
I understand the reaction to blatant deramping for people not invested, I react the same, but there should be no issue with questioning something or even just having a moan. I don’t really do either but just try and set expectations.
Also if you build up the expectation of a drop, it doesn’t feel quite as bad if it does happen. ;-)
I’m happy to sit back now and wait for the company to do it’s thing. It has a world class product to market and it will sell I don’t need the money that I have invested into the company anytime soon. So all I have to do is apply patience I’m in this for the long term if the sp drops on Monday so be it if it rises great but over the next year or 2 with everything it has in the pipeline I can only see it going one way.
I read this board most days and am grateful for the information people share but really some need to chill the @@@k out.
It will happen it’s business ups and downs just manage it.

Many apologies - this is the corrected version:
Covidopportunist...in this game it's all about money and one thing I've learnt over the past few years, the markets will move an SP when they know they can make money.
I do hope we get an RNS on Monday morning as the timing of this Q&A is a tad odd.
22 April Finals RNS - so we have those numbers.
25 May Posting of Annual Reports & Notice of AGM RNS
21 June Q&A a week before the AGM and on that day that should have been Freedom Day
28 June AGM
Why is the Q&A a full week before the AGM...why not on Friday 25th...was it to be a Good News Day linked to Freedom Day and is that in the pan now...guess we will have to wait and see.
Don't forget chaps get those questions in before the deadline...Saturday latest....
Even if they don't get answered, Avacta will surely get an idea of shareholders sentiment/frustrations...

It’s panic and self destruction.
Being realistic is not expecting anything on Monday in the first place. It was never realistic to have any expectations at all. Yet every time there’s a queue of mugs saying there’ll be an RNS or woe betide, it’s ridiculous. News will turn up in an RNS whenever it becomes available, simple as that. If we didn’t have these updates, there’d be a bunch of moaning about a lack of comms. Be careful what you wish for… #InColinWeTrust
@insertcoins,
I totally agree, lft’s will take over for travel and Avacta will get their fare share of the market, its just going to be Rocky until we see those orders.
There is a difference between being realistic and talking down your investment.
Like I say, I am confident about the long term, although many who say they are long term holders will cut and run on a big rise well before some of the higher SP’s that have been thrown around.
People also need to remember things can change very quickly. Everyone’s tails are up at NCYT today (20%) just because they are reporting a week earlier than planned.
Any drop will be short lived abs I won’t be going anywhere on this one, probably for years but I am also realistic about sentiment and the way the market works.
It’s not a trading update. Given the drop from the recent highs I don’t think there’s much expectation left. That is probably fair as there is zero reason to believe that several weeks ago they planned a meeting to coincide with anything. It’s just an update, if there feck all to update on then it’ll be a damp squib, but given there’s not been an RNS why expect anything else. Some weird people on here that seem determined to talk their own investment down….
Suffice to say there’s a lot reducing on Monday if they’re not satisfied...
Vaccine day was a hammering out of nowhere knocking 50% of the SP. we had no product to sell, let alone developed the best AN on the market.
Chill out.
I'm afraid to say if no mention of any sales next week as I'm very near break even now, ill be down sizing my sizeable investment in avacta. Losing faith in anything the man says unless concrete news
Make no mistake if we don’t see some serious revenues for the LFT’s then we will get the chance to buy on a serious dip!
I have a lot of faith in the long term for this but the current SP is definitely built on the test.
It’s only fair people are a bit p/ssed off and nervy, all timescales were offered by the CEO, it’s not come from shareholder impatience.
I just hope AL really has something up his sleaze for Monday or we will all pay the price with the SP.
To set yourself up for an unnecessary trading update and then not deliver would be very foolish.
I am with you there oxygen, therapeutics is where the big money will be.
I thought there was an AGM on 28 June. Had that been brought forward to Monday - if not what is happening on Monday
Well an RNS would be nice otherwise can expect the SP to suffer. Problem for AS is he will not be able to divulge specific contracts being negotiated only those signed , with TP agreements, of which currently there may be none. Anyway as a LTH I,m more interested in the therapeutics division, so will be quite happy to add on any significant dip, but GL.
My guess nailed on for an RNS on Monday prior to the presentation, I would be very suprised if this weren't the case! Going to be a very interesting update as everyone's main thoughts, where is news on the contracts to who and when we starting to sell. GL for the weekend Monday not too far away!! ;)
The slight drop today is MMs loading up to the gunnels from weak and poorly researched PIs. Monday is the day.
Im sure if Monday was going to be exciting the share price would be rising, not falling. However i agree all thats needed now is contracts/sales. Get them signed Sir Al and make them big ones
