Yup, it’s an easy sales call....
Hi there, do you know that test you’ve been using? Yeah, ours is much better, do you want to buy some?
The statement below will be enough to convert the test into a massive commercial opportunity..
Avacta's AffiDX® antigen test. As part of the recent clinical study the same clinical samples were tested with two leading, commercially available lateral flow antigen tests, and the data show that the AffiDX® test had better clinical sensitivity across the range of Ct values tested and, in particular, at lower viral loads.
Cracking RNS, we just need 'interest we have received from commercial partners' to be converted into firm commercial orders of reasonable magnitude. Glad I topped up when I did, this is going to blow shortly!!!
Discussions with Government are very slow! don't expect anything yet. As PL75 said at the weekend they don't seem to be in any rush
Expect a big buy at 17:05pm when IG top-up.
*closing only on Avacta
IG just gone closing only on IG...must have sold out.
Bojo got to mention sovereign test 5pm surely
Honestly think we will now genuinely see 500p this month an possibly more. The long wait has been worth it!
I don't know how many times I had to read this sentence in the RNS: ""We are very excited by the potential of this high quality SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen test...", with this part receiving the bulk of my attention.. "..and the interest that we have received for it from potential commercial partners".
Governments want to protect their fragiles economies and having a super reliable, easy to take, rapid results and cheap test will make all the diference. We are going to make lots of money here!!
Im getting a hang of calling RNS's the night before now lol
What we need is CE and confirmation of additional manufacturing capacity in the UK, or overseas. An order would do wonders, or even a very strong hint of orders in the pipeline. Much better to have a slightly more arms-length relationship with the govt - you only have to look at Omega & Abingdon to know they just can't be trusted. This would hugely mitigate any downside over-reaction to Avacta not being chosen as the sovereign test.
Therein lays the gamble.
Thing Is though anyone smart, brave or stupid enough to trade the sentiment over the last few weeks will have gained a load of extra shares. Shouldn’t have to wait long now I dare say but it is a fluid situation so might not be this week
Certainly wouldn't want to be trading this now, the caught out burn would require a long stay at Primrose Lodge!
Is it early May yet?
Is it us?
Purely think it will be tomorrow as it’s the last part of “early may” and what better day to drop an RNS than a Monday? Fingers crossed, it’s coming either way, if not tomorrow then certainly this week
I’ll just continue to keep hopes high and expectations low
Well we're within early May territory and with the first week gone there's a very good chance of it being within the next few days
I don’t see what it would come tomorrow in particular, it will come when it is achieved be it tomorrow or next week or whenever. Either sit tight or trade a few in the meantime.
Fully expect CE marking RNS tomorrow and possibly some orders with it
