My problem with that theory is that it is very easy to buy more shares every time this drops, ie if it was being dropped for a large entity to buy, I would expect the retail investor to be locked out of buying the lower priced shares thus leaving them available for the big buyer. Not saying you are wrong as I don’t know for sure but my belief is that the drops are just supply and demand
haven't posted in a long time but still holding and adding here, just had to come out of hibernation to say what a deluded post RAH - Myles said 'So - a change in comms strategy will come, IMO', not even remotely confirming that large holders are pushing for an improvement to comms. So much drivel posted here, better to get on with your life and let Avacta story play out in the background
it has been damaged by poor performance of the company against self-imposed targets, anyone who thinks the dire sp is due to trolls or derampers on a bulletin board is living in a parallel universe and shouldn't be investing.
they can hardly arrest people for having a negative view on a bulletin board, no matter what their motives or level of sanity. Would you also say then that the likes of Sujood and Marik should be arrested for spouting positive nonsense? Any investor worth their salt will ignore all such rubbish positive or negative
sticking in here too, sitting on a £50k paper loss and will no doubt be a few sickening drops between now and the summer but always the chance of some leftfield news or takeover talk in the meantime to give us a lift. I did say it before - am still convinced the shorts aren't blind and seeing them close will be the best indicator of an imminent change in direction
You will likely be back at break even in the coming days, temptation will be to hold for glory but step back and think logically, you could take a portion of your money back to relieve some of the stress. I am confident in avacta and have a sizeable holding but it is high risk whatever way you look at it, not least as it is AIM we are talking about
