"We will sell all we can make" seems bob on to me!
Someone's not telling the truth, even if it does take OVER TWO MONTHS to do TT. I don't know what the ins and outs of TT are but MORE THAN TWO MONTHS ...in a pandemic? F**k me.
The actual runs may only take a few hrs each but any issues identified during these runs will need to be sorted either in parallel or by repeating some of the validation exercise. The time consuming part is often the pulling together of all the paperwork e.g. validation files and getting appropriate sign offs..
Much as it pains me, on this occasion I have to agree with NDN. We seem to have reached a point where we are in a state of inertia. I suspect the LFT saga has just about worn out many LTH's and as we saw this week, even excellent news on the AVA front simply won't bolster the SP short term. Furthermore, recent activity at NCYT, GDR et al has also taken some focus away from here. Hard (positive) financial news and documented approvals are needed to move the SP north - or a buy out that is (but I don't tend to get that lucky!!). I concur that the limited shorting activity by Jupiter is peripheral to SP.
All IMHO of course.
The mm's drop for mates rates hint seems to be when it ends . 88 currently happening for the 3rd time
Oneknows, just because I trade shares does not make me a liar. (Sometimes it feels I am being judged by others standards. So no, i don't lie, or make things up. I express my views as i see them in good faith. I am in no need of money so desperately that i would lie and try and cheat my way to get more. Its quite a thing you said to me there.)
I have no facility to short stocks. this is a hobby, I can only go long, I want the SP to go up.
The only difference I think i can see, is that I am prepared to sell some of my holding if I think the SP is likely to fall, whereas the majority on this BB, seem to think that if anyone does sell (for any reason), they are Satan's helper.
This juvenile and frankly silly view is not condusive to maximising gains (imo)
I was talking to your “mate” actually but your here so,Your a trader who’ll say anything that suits your current position so anything I say is a irreverent,Don’t you have another 800 word post to draft?….
Ps….I’ll bite,I think it’s been a bit of $$$$ show so far,Over promised,Under achieved and the government corruption will only out long after most on here are long gone.
What we think is significant and what the nomad think is significant may be different.
RD, we know its not HUA because that order would have to go to Medusa, so its a "significant" business order.
It just doesn't make sense to me.
AVCT comms on this now is quite something.
all the LFT hype, then silence, is the silence because nothings happening or he just does not need to tell the market?
It is a public company and not his plaything simply to mess Pi's around with.
If most countries are providing lfd free of charge I suspect Chinese tests prevail based on price. Furthermore, they need HUA. Little point producing lots of tests if your test isn't approved for that purpose.
Therefore, we may see a step up if we get HUA and a number of competitors are withdrawn (due Feb I think). The majority of the market is price led, good enough is good enough. Avacta either drive down manufacturing costs (at these volumes doesn't look promising) or focus on high risk scenarios - dentists.
In terms of gad and Abingdon - split the volume as a risk management. Standard practice. Bit worrying TT taking so long but its not clear whether they are able to sell these validation batches and thus making to demand. Not clear how many in a batch.
I'm not that excited by lfd anymore - think AS has managed to miss the goal by a mile but at the same time has kept Avactas finances in robust shape. If we had managed to beat the Chinese to market fair enough but we didn't. Chest LA vie. Who dares wins. Except when UK govt shafts them.
Thanks oneknows, but whats your view then on AVCT (rather than just being rude)?
Do you think the LFT is running at full capacity and is just letting orders stay on the shelf unfulfilled for weeks at atime?
My take
How narcissistic do you have to be to keep coming here day after day when nobody gives a hook what you think…..
"A significant order for post-technical transfer production has been received from Avacta.”
So what are we waiting for? Is that order conditional on something? (Why would we give to abdx if they are not in a position yet hand have not been for months, to fulfill it?)
Are we running at full capacity elsewhere and that order will just sit there for another month?
I am confused:
Currently AVCT have 1m per month production capacity with GAD. (Is that correct?)
I have assumed that it is nor running to capacity only because at £1 profit per test that would be a meaningful income and would warrant an update I would have thought?
So if there is a sizeable order that is just been sitting there waiting to be fulfilled then why hasn't GAD done it? Why are we waiting for ABDX?
Why hasn't Medusa done it either?
So if we are making £12m per year pro rate (a multiple of annual earnings) then why hasn't AVCT told the market?
Does it make sense to anyone here?
I'm not doubting anything, I just don't understand the logistics.
Good work Mr R
Thanks MrR, excellent news.
Ndn hates good news.
This is a Pinocchio moment for you now, Mr R; you’re now a ‘real researcher’. Haha.
ndn - I'm not complaining: 'Avacta have indicated that they may require the Company to produce between one and two million tests per month. The transfer process, which involves scale-up of processes and manufacture of three production-scale manufacturing runs, is progressing well and due for completion in this calendar year. A significant order for post-technical transfer production has been received from Avacta.'
Haha Bein. I can’t be arsed with him. Binned.
1-2m tests a month from Abingdon isnt too shabby, Ndn.
It’s in the ABDX RNS Losta
NDN…. Ssssshhhh. You’re embarrassing yourself again.
Don’t bite….
Do you have a link MrR?
Mr ripley thank you very much for that info.
Along with the news regarding America rubbing stamping the AVA tests things are really really starting to look very nice indeed
Kong
Still not quite there but finally now within touching distance.
Get these made. Get em sold and at a profit margin that makes the last 18 months worthwhile and finally Avacta (and it's SP) will gather the momentum (based on actual revenues and products rather than soundbytes) that we have all been waiting for.
After 18 months of being on the percieved cusp, the ACTUAL cusp is here.
Good luck all.
I’m just glad I bought a bit of research to the board for once instead of just calling people twats. RD will be proud.
