It has not been just Timis selling, if you add his holdings to Hadron, Trium and Ironport that would have been around 74 Million shares, then there would have been some flippers from the placing, so we have held up quite well and support at the lower levels is holding, so to my mind being absorbed. We also know they had less than 40 million between them as at 15th of March but may have been some time before that. How much they have left now is speculation but average volume is around 7 million per day. I have been quite happy to average up at these levels as similar to last year when we dropped dramatically (Chang I think had to sell) their sales will eventually dry out.
Its better he sells now when the sell can be absorbed rather than later.
It has hammered the share price, we are at £2.24 :)
@TheProphet, you are correct. I shouldn't try to do maths early on a morning. 11.5m is significant over a few weeks in that case so I take back what I said.
However that still doesn't answer my question on his other 11% which is over 42 million shares. That should have hammered the share price surely?
3% is 11.5m
People need to stop talking about Timmis.
If it has taken him the last 26 days to go through his last 3% and still has some to go then can anyone explain to me how long it took him to sell his other 11% and what happened to the share price during that time?
When will people stop saying this guy is still selling his last 3%? 3% is 1.15 million shares. 2.8 million were sold on Friday alone vs 2.1 million bought. 1.2 million over at least 26 days is starting to sound insignificant.
And he was no longer listed!!
As per the website!!!
"Significant Shareholders
As of 15 March 2021, as far as the Directors are aware, the following shareholders are Company Directors or interested in 3% or more of the issued share capital of the Company."
AlphaOmega: "We know roughly when he dropped below 3% from Argo updating their shareholder listings"
When do you reckon that was?
Let's hit £2.50 again first before worrying about £3.
Will we be able to see £3 again ?
No, but he should have been declaring every 1% down all the way to the final one showing below 3%, but there have been none! Also, any other large holders that held over 3% and went down due to the placement shares should have also declared they are below 3%.
I'm sure there is a loop hole somewhere for the large holding, so that he could arrange for the complete sell down via a MM/broker, and until complete does not need to file under the DTR guidance.
Who knows!!
because his shares aren't going to one buyer
If Frank Timmis is selling like posters suggest then why arent we getting major holdings rns to support this
Demand for ARB is the key! I hope the BTC stays at a decent level on Monday and hence drawing more folks here to buy.
It will be a shame if the "newcomer" VLRM takes all the shine albeit in the aquis market.
Not in the ARB Cult!
Unless people actually buy our shares, none of your musings matter. It will go ok
At 61k I would expect 255p share price but I don't think we will open at that. I normally assume 5p per 1k in BTC movement with 50k at 200p base but we've been below that the past couple of days. Maybe people losing faith in bitcoin's bull run and selling. A new all time high might return faith.
Of course, bitcoin always drops on Sundays so unless it gets to 63k today I expect it to be under 60k on Monday.
Probably be a 235p open though I am expecting.
Timmus shares now been sold (41 million) btc climbing near to ath , Nasdaq listing imminent IMO this will b £3 plus next week fingers crossed
That would be pretty disappointing if we just see 240p above $60k coin price.
If BTC stays at this level we should see a 240p open on monday.
Hasn’t bitcoin been $61,500? And the reason we’ve been flat is Timis, that’s practically over with now.
THINK POSITIVE !
With BTC at a new ATH, Mara and Riot will going up. Argo will be on Nasdaq and I bet its sp will go down.
It seems like no matter the good news Argo sp doesn’t seem to move in the right direction
